Checking in.

Okay, will fix as soon as I can. Thanks for catching that.

Can you take an alias you've already made and register it as a PFS character? Or do you have to delete it first? I can't figure out how, all I can do is create new ones. When I try to register "Nixie" it tells I already exists...

three...hours...later... I think I figured it out. I made a character called *Nixie* and got her PFS number. So I'm thinking I can post with this alias and give GM that PFS number for reporting. right? int: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20

When you create a PFS alias, the name you give it cannot already exist as an alias for anyone, anywhere on the Paizo site (on your account or others). The fact you had already used Nixie as your account name was what was preventing you from using that exact name again.
As you figured out, a subtle variation (in your case putting the asterixes around it) got you past that.
And yes, you can post using the account alias you have been (Nixie), and use the PFS# for *Nixie*.

Sorry for not answering, I somehow missed the posts in this thread. But EvilMinion gave a good advice :) Thanks for that!
Sing Sing is somehow missing, I already wrote him/her a PM but he didn't answer yet. If he wants to join later (when we are still in the beginning of this scenario), is that ok for everybody?

Amen sister AMEN!

Kraak, did you eat the missing player? You said "anything tasty".
It's okay, you're not in trouble. We just want to know.

Me am no, am well maybe... no, not that I know off.

The interesting thing is, the guys/girls at the other table are also posting a lot. I think it's the scenario, this one has a lot of interaction and less fighting so if somebody is posting once a day it doesn't matter, because the rest of the group can continue. Which is not the case if you have to wait for everybody to finish their turn. But I'm glad you like it :)

May I ask you to fill out this form:
Form
You will get your chronicles as soon as we finish this scenario :)

Sure... one question though, can I change the faction? I was told initially (not sure how accurate it is) that faction choice happened after the third campaign in this series, and when I created Alexos I really didn't know anything about the factions, so I left it as the default (Grand Lodge). I haven't fully decided whether or not that is a good thing. Does the society still give an option to change to what you really want it to be after the third campaign?

So... question, given we are kind of getting close to the end it seems (one task to turn in, one to do, and then turning in the items we have acquired so far): would it be possible for the group and gm to continue on and do the other two beginning PFS adventures to round out our introduction? I would definitely be interested myself, but wanted to ask rather than just presume.

A kind player just pointed out to me that weapon finess doesn't actually affect my damage rolls, only my attack rolls, and I must therefore grovelingly admit that Nixie has been cheating. She only does 1d6 not 1d6+2. But she's szcarni so you might have expected as much from her. But she's on the level now...I think.

Well, to be honest. This has been one of the most enjoyable experiences in my live. I had some major problems envision a Tengu, so I couldn´t contribute much. But the others, I have to say, it was awesome!

:O, I didn't see that, sorry.

As I said, no gm should have to check the chars first. And the question is IMHO, did you play your char well... YES.
Did the mistake steal any light from someone else.... NO.
So.... I would say, we did tell a wonderful story a better than most.
Rules are the backbones, but the flesh is the story, and the flesh was delicious!

I'm facing an increased workload in RL coming up so I'll sadly have to bow out of that.
Have fun, everyone!

As if Nixie, I tossed the rest to you. So, that makes you the proud new owner of 9 masterwork thieves tools, a set of marked cards, two sets of loaded dice, a flask of alchemists fire, a flask of acid and two bags of powder. Enjoy in good health for her next pfs mission.

True. When you get your Chronicle sheet, you'll find that you've earned some gold, and you now have access to certain magic items which you can purchase. Those specific items are listed on the Chronicle, with the understanding that
* You discovered these items in your travels
* You brought them back to the Pathfinders for analysis
* The Pathfinders can duplicate them for you, for a fee
It's not the most realistic mechanic, but it does away with the bickering over who gets to keep the Vorpal Mace of Vorpalness -- you *all* do, if you can afford it.
Xichikitte

Duke, I think vials of ink are commonly available, so you can buy them without having them on a Chronicle sheet.
Touchy
|
Aye. Any and all non-magical mundane things (except firearms and possibly dragonscale/hide armors) are considered commonly available. (As are all +1 weapons and armor, all 1st level potions and scrolls, and the basic wayfinder)
So you can purchase them whenever you'd like between scenarios if you have the cash.
From an RP standpoint, you can say you found X or Y during adventure Z ... just their value came out of your share of the treasure... and in effect, you buy them. =)
(I do this all the time... pick something up on a mission, and say that's where I got it, then just deduct the cost as if I'd purchased it)
As Xichi mentions, its mostly a fairness issue.

Xichi and Touchy are right, you can't keep the things you find in a scenario, but you can use it while playing the scenario. So if you find a magic armour or a potion you can use it before the end of the scenario. After that all things you found will be sold or taken back to the Society for research and the amount of money you "earn" is written on the chronicle. You can use this amount to buy new stuff between the scenarios.

Wich makes an arcanist a real interesting option as he can soak the charges of charged items to boost his magic.
Does it destroy the items for later too?
