so I want to stay close to my bounty hunter roots and I have been doing alot of build analysis for 5e.
I kind of like Warlock and Paladin of Vengence its very redeemed kick you in the face sort.
Also it allows me to with one more level at 6 pretty much have sentinel and polearm as variant human, smite a bunch using warlock spells, use devil's sight and darkness spell to have advantage in combat pretty much a walking darkness of holy retribution.
What do you all think? lv 4 Warlock, lv 2 Paladin to start.

Brother Lazlo Krykski |

Warlock is exquisite for multiclassing. I've been running a Bard/Warlock IRL and it has been a hell of a lot of fun. Having those Warlock slots come back so quickly is a huge boon as long as you can short rest.
You'll lose some depth but gain a lot of versatility for sure. I say go for it.
What kind of Pact are you going for? Fiend? Great Old One? Something from Xanathar's Guide to Everything?

Brother Lazlo Krykski |

Fiend is excellent for boom damage. I'm a fan of the Celestial for its added support capability personally but the former has some excellent choices to boost your damage up.
What pact are you thinking of taking? Blade? Tome? or Familiar?

Brother Lazlo Krykski |

Thanks for having us! I've done my reading of what has been happening in this part of the campaign and it looks like a good, spooky time. I look forward to being your good guy Cleric. :D
@Netzer - It all depends on the boons you're going to be taking with it. The familiar can be very powerful if you use it in interesting ways.

Ugh, was hoping to get to this but fell asleep, too tired to post anything worth it, tomorrow is a light day kicking around the house with my daughter, will update latest tomorrow night.

Dark Powers |

OK, the introduction post for the new PCs is up!
I'll be updating the scene for the existing set of PCs next.

Louis Morrow |

I've changed my animal companion last minute, from wolf to mule if that's alright? I feel it makes way more sense with his profession and his age. He'd have been given a mule by his father in recognition for his accomplishments, after finishing his internship and receiving his guild license.

Storyteller Shadow |

I'm a little late for it but I appreciate the Star Wars reference going on.
:-)

Posted this on my status thread but here it is again for those of you who don't follow it:
Magnus the Great Dane died at 5:04 on Sunday June 24th in the sunshine of his own backyard of congestive heart failure. 6 years - 7 months - 3 days too damn young. He left behind one sad puppy brother, one eternally cheerful little sister [who informed me that he was in dog heaven with Shady the Black Lab (who I had as a boy and teen) EXCEPT when we are driving, when we are driving they are chasing after us], and one very sad doggy Daddy - he will be greatly missed.
I will be updating once more either this Friday evening or Saturday evening, barring my life falling the f#&~ apart again.
Hopefully, I can catch a break and life will be somewhat normal for a while and my posting rate will be better and our lives all full of joy from gaming.

Storyteller Shadow |

Ah, so sad!! 6 years, 7 months , 3 day of love and happiness, Shadow.
...someone's cutting onions over here...
Here too :-(
His Brother is 4 so hopefully he will get the extra years my zoomie goomie did not get.
His first 6 years 5 months and 15 days were really quite remarkable, he had puppy energy until mid-April and I guess it all just caught up with him at once.

Let it be known that his unconditional love shall live on through us and through our children and their children and for as long as our family name is known then that love will be known as well.
Nothing as pure and good as love ever truly leaves us but instead is part of the Divine and eternal.

Indeed, unconditional love is why dogs are so wonderful :-)

Carella Fletcher |

I had a dog that did the same thing Shadow. She was a puppy at twelve years old until about the last six months. Then the bone cancer caught up with her and she was gone in December.
I'm so sorry for your loss.

Storyteller Shadow |

it must be the week for sad puppy news. This last Friday we had to put down one of our three furry babies Puffer after a long and meaningful life. Such loss again can only be overcome through the lens of love.
Oh man, I am so sorry :-(

Storyteller Shadow |

Ugh, sorry for the delays, almost back on track. I will update after I put my daughter to bed tomorrow night. I intended to update tonight but it was a LONG (though productive!) weekend and I am just running out of steam here. Sorry folks!

Storyteller Shadow |

Shadow, what's barring the way?
The other patrons. You can push through if you want to!

Storyteller Shadow |

I'll have a post up tomorrow. Migraine is messing with me pretty hard today.
Ugh, feel better! :-)

Hi Guys,
Recent events have had me re-evaluating my commitment to the games I'm currently involved with here on these boards.
As you've probably noticed I've had a few noticable absenses this summer, again due to the fact I've become quite
a bit more busy, usually leading to a rushed decision late at night...do I logon and get some posts in?
Ultimately, it began to feel more like a job than a hobby...<< I have to get a post in...don't want to hold the game up >>
It slowly dawned on me that I just wasn't looking forward to posting, even though I enjoy each of the games I'm in immensely.
When something you enjoy becomes something you don't, it's time to re-evaluate.
Though it's a hard decision, I've decided to take a hiatus from the boards.
Apologies to players and GMs leaving you in the lurch, so to say.
Extra thanks to GMs for allowing me in to your games.
Happy gaming and take care, Al.

Dark Powers |

Just got two new PCs. I am going to bring them in as soon as possible so we can get going in the direction of the Crown. Once I figure out how to incorporate them, I'll update the gameplay thread, within the next day or tw.

Vasilios Teras |

Hi folks! I was a bit reluctant to play a Sorcerer since you already have an Evoker Wizard, but well... I adjusted spells to not step too much on each other's toes, and I hope we can solve fights quickly by blasting to death. Let's have fun!
Edit: might need to adjust the avatar once I get home and have access to a computer

Dark Powers |

Boards were a disaster last night, next update will be Sunday and will include the new PCs.
