Background:
Carella Fletcher started out life in the Republic of Darokin. Her bright smile and sense of fun made her a popular child. She grew up as the daughter of a clerk to a merchant. There was enough money but not a lot. She grew into a red headed blue eyed flirt. She spent lots of evenings in the tavern, and quickly discovered that a flash of blue through her lashes made men and some women stop paying attention to the game of chance they were playing. Cheating at the games became a habit more than a necessity.

One evening the most handsome man entered her favorite tavern, the Red Sands. She fell in love at first sight. Turns out that the object of her affections was married, and using her. Feeling like a scorned woman she set in motion an elaborate scheme to destroy him. When the dust settled she had taken all of his money. It was a lot less than she thought she would get, but was everything he had. This left his lovely wife, who Carella had met, and six children lost everything. They had to move in the slums, and sell the children into servitude to pay his other bills. Carella was so aghast at what she did, she decided to leave and make her way in the world. On the way to the home of the poor wife she hears some whispers warning her not to go. The feeling was very strong that she needed to leave town right away. The whispers told her that she needed to head south to meet her fate, and do her new patrons tasks. A raven appeared before her, and would not leave. She took head and made her way to the city gates. On the way her former love tried to kill her. He had prepared an ambush, but the whispers stopped her from stepping in to it. Her powers suddenly appeared, and she was able to use them to escape.

She managed to find her way to the Shire. Her powers of the Raven Queen becoming stronger as she traveled. Her once bright hair is turning black as she gains more powers from the Queen, but her sense of fun and adventure is still very much a part of her personality. She met up with a group of companions, and was travelling with them when her good friend Elaris was captured by a local Emirate. They fled on horses into the plains. Carella was laughing like a loon. She’d just lifted a jeweled dagger from the Emirate’s palace in the scuffle.

After some long moments of hard riding, Carellan noticed that Elaris was no longer in sight. She started calling for her. She rode back over the rise, and hopped down to help Elaris to her feet. Her horse suddenly spooked, and despite an attempt to calm the creature it bolted. Carell grabbed her gear, and noticed a mist. Elaris stepped closer to her, and there was nothing but mist. ”I don’t know. I don’t think it’s my Lady.”

Suddenly a voice called out, "Who goes there?"....
