Hyecorerox nods and would tap the earth with his many legs. The earth was solid so that he could trust. Glaring from his lower angle at everything he remembered that at the top of the volcano the heat would bend the light and shadow giving off its own illusions.

Discern Realities: 2d6 + 2 ⇒ (3, 5) + 2 = 10

Moving up to Anya and Remia and waved at them holding out his legs before slowly making his way towards the other room. He motioned to his eyes and pointed to the wall, then tap-tap-tapped the ground in front of him. Moving forward to the illusion and waved his legs through comically.

"So looks like you two are going to have to lead the way on this one." Anya looked around for some more small rocks to use as a poor man's disillusion.


Inspire Courage (+1 Hit/Damage and Will v. Charm and Fear)

The cavern and shrine have fallen into disrepair, and worse haven't been tidied in probably decades. A testament to the fact that the people who maintained it had all died long ago.

Stones of various sizes, pebbles up to rocks, were readily available in the entryway.

Anya would give Hycorerox a wide birth if the cave would allow as she tried to motion him to the front to lead them.


Inspire Courage (+1 Hit/Damage and Will v. Charm and Fear)

The cavern is actually exceptionally spacious, with enough space to either side of the door for three men, side by side, to pass through with ease.


Female Human (Gerudo) Fighter 1; 4 XP

"There's plenty of room in here. Somehow that seems worse than it being cramped. I don't like this one bit." Riza strides forward confidently, but warily, following Hycorerox through the illusory wall. "There are definitely plenty of illusions around. They're kind of like mirages, but... different. It's like... if a mirage is a trick of the light, these are tricks of the shadows."

Hycorerox would jump up and down slightly and turns to take the lead. Making sure any illusion he was able to see through, he comically showed was fake.

Discern Realities: 2d6 + 2 ⇒ (2, 2) + 2 = 6

But seemed to have no idea where to go from here so he scuttled about waving at illusions.


Inspire Courage (+1 Hit/Damage and Will v. Charm and Fear)

Muse bounces around in agreement to Riza's statement, chirping a few times in her nonsensical language. At least it sounds like agreement.

Once the group moves through the wall, more of the room comes into view. There are strange fonts on the wall, burbling out a greenish goo to either side of the room when they enter it. Also cut off from view was a door on either side. Both are cracked open slightly, but it's dark within.

The tools, now that you're closer, are clearly of apothecary fashion, and the room seems utterly deserted... yet meticulously cleaned. There's no rubble strewn about, and everything seems mostly in place. There's plenty of gauze which could be used as bandages in a pinch, sitting in clear view (5 uses).

If no one assists Hycorerox by tonight:
As Hycorerox moves around checking to make sure that everything is real, though... he discovers that the darkness of the door to the right is very real and very cold. Take 1d4+1 damage, ignores armor as the heat is sapped from your body. Mark an XP.

Anya tries to help by placing her hands through the illusions Hycorerox proves are fake to show the others as well.

Ugh. Sorry. I could have sworn I had replied to this, I can even remember -how- I replied... I guess it was eaten.

As Hycorerox begins to reach into the burbling darkness, Anya sees something moving within. She quickly grabs Hycorerox's forearm and pulls him back when the darkness tries to grab him. The door on the right slams angrily closed, knocking you both backwards into the table nearest to the door.

"Guess we're not using that one." She recovers from being knocked against the table and tries to make sense of the room."Can any of you read this?"

Hycorerox seeing the gauze would reach up gathering them even as he looked around.

A door that leads to cold darkness, Where do we go from here? What can help us find something to help us continue.

Inspire Courage (+1 Hit/Damage and Will v. Charm and Fear)

As Hycorerox looks around, he recognizes that there is another door opposite him, and there is swirling darkness within as well. The green lights of this room do not seem to penetrate into the darkness, suggesting that either the darkness is some sort of magic or monster, or that said darkness is impervious to the strange light.

The bandages could likely be wrapped around one of the tools, and dipped into a brazier for light, or perhaps someone else has access to a light of some sort. Speaking of... what happens to Hycorerox's equipment when he transforms himself? :)
