perhaps someone could find a wheelbarrow or something to help carry this fellow. we could easily make a sledge and drag him, but I imagine it would be very unpleasant

I have to say, who I thought Timothy was going to be, and who Timothy has actually been, have been very, very different. He's definetly been more antagonist than protagonist at this point, so I do apologize. Hopefully this stunt will be actually do something, though if not, perhaps I'll have to reevaluate Timothy as a character. Anyways, ya'll are awesome, and however we wind up doing this, I'm sure we'll send the Consortium with it's tail between it's legs!

            Tim,
That's what I love about roleplaying. You can have a concept rock solid in your head, but sometimes the character just evolves or comes into being based on the story taking you places your mind never could see.
This is a great group by the way. Thank you for letting me be a part of it.

I like your first suggestion. Either help us fight the wyrm, or die. They should be given a choice and allowed to die on their feet, if such is their wish. I don't think Boggel would condone using unarmed men as bait

Not certain if Timothy gets a voice here, but see if ya'll can't get the people behind you. Give them a chance, and that way, the citizens see ya'll actually care, instead of killing. Isn't that what Kreed does to people he doesn't like? The citizenry seems more likely to appreciate ya'll if they know even if they might disagree they won't necessarily get killed.
Also, Timothy helped get two of them drunk, so if he slurs at all, ya'll are welcome! Haha

sorry folks, I didn't mean to hog the scene.
@ DM Vayelan, does that make sense?
They go in, pick up their swords, Tock stays between them and us, in case the change their minds. When they find the wyrm we start to shoot.
I'm assuming the wyrm will get a surprise round.
What was it Mike Tyson used to say? "Everyone has a plan until they get hit."

Apologies for not posting for a while, guys. My mom went into the hospital unexpectedly, and then right after she was released my gf's mom went into the hospital. Fortunately, they're both relatively good to go now, so I'll get a post up tonight or tomorrow morning, at the latest. Depends on if I fall asleep writing or not. Hospital's make wonderful places to sleep (no, no they do not).

OK, DM Vayelan this is where my ignorance of spell casters come in I normally stick to 'melee characters :-(
Naomi has the spell 'command' it's component is voice, does she have to have line of sight to use it on someone? Could she call out "harpie shut up" assuming someone tells her it's a harpy Or "Boggel fight her."
If it is line of sight does she still see anyone up stairs?
I'm trying to figure out how to get up there or at least do something. Her climb is -4 and I didn't specify if the rope was knotted or not. I will do that in the future.
Is the rope hanging near a wall? That would put her at rolling a '9' to climb...

No worries. I had to look it up, too, just to be sure.
A spell like Command that targets a particular creature does require being able to see the target.
The harpy is out of your sight, but you can see Boggel and Liam, and I will rule that you can use the spell to enable them to attack the harpy.
The way I see it, your spell is giving their minds a window to break through the harpy's song, even if just temporarily.
As for the rope, it is dangling straight down in the open air, away from the walls, unfortunately.

just a heads up, I will be mostly out of pocket for the next 24 hours... bot me if needed. And I LOVE the idea of using command on an ally! That's awesome

Further brushing up my knowledge on the finer points of magic, characters can voluntarily fail a save if they want the spell's effect to occur. Therefore, Boggel would not have to roll a save against Naomi's Command.
Also, since the command is to "resist her," we'll say that the effect grants Boggel a new, immediate saving throw against the song.

Despite being separated, you guys have handled this encounter pretty well.
The ecology I planned was that when the harpy goes out hunting, she tosses the remains of her prey to the centipedes below. In return, she assumes that anything approaching her "nest" would be attacked by the centipedes, alerting her to the danger.
Since you quickly and quietly dispatched the centipedes, she lost her "watchdogs" and was ultimately taken by surprise.

            Hey guys,
Sorry I went offline for a little bit. June has not been a nice month. I went ahead and set an alarm on my phone to keep me posting here.

Wulf looks like the kind of guy who'd speak sylvan. There's a lot of halflings in Andoran, so he might have picked that up as well. Elven is popular, dwarven a little less so. Or if he served in the military, he might have picked up a useful language while on assignment (Hallit, Skald, Kelish, something more exotic?).
