For HP, roll your new hit die; you can either take the result or the average for the hit die. So, for example, if you roll a d10 and get a 2, you can take a 5 instead.

As for the Breastplate, time for good news and bad news.

I wanted to explain my drop in posting rate.

Previously the majority of my posts happened while I was at work. I worked third shift at a treatment facility. I used the boards as a tool to help keep myself awake. I have recently left that job and am now looking for employment.

I'm trying to balance RL responsibilities with the games I'm in, but I no longer have eight hours that I'm sitting at the computer looking for something to do. Between the stress of RL and attempting to find a balance in schedule the quantity and quality of my posting rate has suffered.

I'm planning on staying in the games I'm presently in and I appreciate everyone's patience while I figure out how to make it work.

Wulf, I'm glad you're still with us.

Naomi, I hope things get more balanced for you soon. Take your time as you sort things out; we'll be here waiting for you when you're ready.

How’s it going IRL with everyone? I assume it is a busy time for most. I hope we pick back up after the holidays. I really like this game and group.

heh, I'll be a little taxed with grading over the next 10 days or so, but I should be able to pop in :)

RL is ok, new job limits my posting. I used to be able to post over a five or six hour period of time at work, then again at home in the evenings. Now I can only post at home in the evenings, so the quality and of posts has suffered.

My apologies as well for being tardy with my own updates. Although the semester is done and the university where I work is on holiday break, I've still been busy with my other job and family matters.

My day off today was supposed to help catch up and get back on track, but some personal business cropped up and waylaid me for the day.

For now, let's all post as best as our current schedules will allow and assume that we will return to normal in due time.

Merry Christmas Everyone! I hope everyone is well.

I began playing pathfinder four and a half years ago here on-line. It has been a wonderful time but I believe that journey has ran its course and come to an end. I am in a dozen games and I feel that those I have been playing with deserve an explanation for my decision to leave the games at this time.

When I started playing I was working nights; alone, bored and able to post for several hours a day. Posting at work was the perfect opportunity to be involved with others and create together. I was able to check the games regularly from home as well, due to fewer responsibilities at that time.

In October I left that job and have started working at a call center where I am talking to people all day long. Not only has my ‘posting time’ been cut to almost nothing. But the time I spend communicating with others has increased exponentially. Also, my RL responsibilities have increased significantly. Both mine and my wife’s mothers have been diagnosed with dementia and we spend a couple hours a day caring for them.

My posts have become shallow, my characters one dimensional. I am not happy with how I am playing, nor with what I am getting accomplished in RL with what little ‘down time’ I have. I appreciate the stories we have shared together. I know the games will continue, I will read along when I can. I wish everyone good luck and a good year.

For the remaining players, how would you like to proceed? I can see three options:

1) Continue forward with just Wulf, Boggel, and Helgrim
2) Recruit one or more new players
3) Merge with my other Hollow's Revolution game, which currently has four players

What are your thoughts?

I think recruit is the way to go. But I could roll with any of those scenarios
