Diagonals count as 5 for the first square, but that second square makes it 15ft. While D&D 3.5 had an exception to that rule for reach weapons, Pathfinder doesn't. It's something that they seem to refuse to put into a FAQ as well. So until you said something about it, I was assuming that I didn't threaten on the diagonal.

Michael sees the two kobolds running past him and curses his inability to kill them as they fled.

Michael attacks the kobold fighting with the halfling but misses.

Hecktor moves to threaten the white kobold.
Lucanor moves back into the Room.

The kobold threatening the halfling throws down its dagger and raises its hands in a gesture of surrender. It babbles in Draconic pitifully.
Combat Over.

Loot:
Each of the 5 Kobolds carried longswords, small sized spears and small sized daggers, as well as small sized leather armor. This gear is in much better condition than the earlier warriors, this must have been some of the tribes better warriors, sent to recapture the escaped children.

Draconic:

The halfling falls to one knee and seems winded. He tells you his name is Edgrin Galesong. Edgrin is a sweaty, moon-faced little halfling. His once debonair, brocaded, green-velvet doublet and silk leggings are torn and covered in grime, and his lute still hangs on a strap at his side.

Kimi hugs Gared then immediately begins tending to Mikra Jabbs, who continues to rock back and forth and moan a bit. Clearly in shock.
Kimi tells Gared her story quickly

The story so far...:
The kids went to the orphanage on a dare, they wanted to see if old Elara was as mean as everyone said she was. Once they got there, they noticed something was wrong and went inside to investigate. They found the bodies and went screaming back outside, only to be met by a wolf which chased them into the forest. They ran and ran but were eventually tired and stopped. That was when the kobolds captured them. They were brought here but were kept hooded and locked in a prison down below in some caverns. Edgrin and one of his friends Tyran Moonsliver managed to overpower the guards and most of the children and Edgrin escaped. Hollin was caught by a large froglike beast and Tyran was poisoned and fell down below and was caught also. As the group of kids, 4 in all and Edgrin came above they were set upon by a creature made of fire, smoke and chains, this creature captured Jurin but the rest of them ran. When the kobolds finally caught up with them here, Savram ran north.

Edgrin says Savram ran north I think he might still be ok, but....I couldn't save Jurin. The Forgespurned got him. I don't know if he is alive. Hollin is still below, the little bastards plan to cut his heart out.

Michael then checks out the room connected to this one while continuing.

"We've also got to do something with this new kobold prisoner. I say we tie him and leave him. He attacked us, while those other two left us be during that first fight."

Taking 10 on Perception, if possible, making it a 16. I wanna check out room 13 since we're right here.

Kibbo and Jarrdreg clap and cheer when you tie up the other Kobold but it doesn't resist. Michael you check room 13 and 12 and aside from the kobolds gear you find a Potion, unlabeled and old.

Kimi pulls Gared north towards room 14, she says Savram went that way.

Edgrin volunteers to wait here with Mikra if you arm him and give him a torch. He also asks that you heal him please. He'll take one of the Kobold's daggers if you don't object, unless you guys have something else for him.

Kibbo and Jarrdreg look hesitant to head towards room 14.

I'll uncover the bit of the map that Edgrin is familiar with, he tells you about these areas.

#14 He doesnt know whats in there, Savram went in but the doors closed behind him
#16 is a small chapel, nothing was there when Edgrin ran through with the kids
#17 is a refuse elevator, that is where these kobolds were stationed protecting the elevator
#18 is an area of smoke filled tunnels, Edgrin took a bite from a creature there, he didn't see it as he ran by
#19 is a forge....this is where the forgespurned captured Jurin. He says that it is full of choking smoke and the kobolds stay clear of it.

Michael steps back out from the room with the potion in hand. He hands it off to Silas and says, "See if you can figure out what this is. Seems to be something you've got a knack for."

He then starts walking down the hallway towards the doors that Savram supposedly ran into. "Well, we're close enough to him, so I say we make sure he's safe first. I don't like the idea of leaving him to fend for himself when we know where he is. Plus, we might be able to fortify those doors if the room is clear and make it a bit of a safe room for the kids."

This dark ossuary is cold and full of the sound
of dripping water. A dark corridor runs north
down the center of the room, while to either
side two large bays open into small niches that
contain ancient dwarven skeletons. At the far
end of the corridor rests a large iron anvil.

Silas peers into the ossuary and calls out, "Savram, are you there lad?"
