Rednal and JonGarret: I was told that it is more inline with real world magic folklore. Is that true?

Reading EZG's review might help. He explains it well. XD

It kind of IS in line with folklore, yeah. At least, you can easily make a character that way. (Or in one of maaaaaaaany other ways. Like I said, customizable. It gives you the pieces, then lets you flavor them however you'd like.)

Nice review! If EZG says it is okay, then it probably is. I will get back with you guys on it after I review the classes,

Well, my plan is to use a Oracle or Shaman, if that helps.

GM Infernal Mistress wrote:

Chejop: For your first question (a) and for your second question (a) but no limitations.

So, full pool but no basic usages. That's what I would have ruled myself, I think.

So I'll take the Inspiration at level 1 and begin buying talents at level 5 (2 for each choice, as normal, I guess).
I'm eager to try this! I've been reading through the AP's Player Guide and it seems very interesting, I'm so excited! (And I just can't hide it).
And if I don't get chosen, well... at least I had a good time creating the PC :) (though I'd like to be chosen, of course :P)

Now to finish Mr. Robot and start Into the Badlands.

Edit: Don't worry, I'll make you cheesecake even if I don't get chosen ;)

I think I am done with the background so far, it has gotten pretty long but I like it. There are a few hooks in there for you Mistress if you like (the noble family I and/or Emily should be sold to, the old druid that taught me or even my family) that's why I don't give any names or the-like.
I gave some explanations how I got my equipment and how I met and teamed up with Emily (although I left out the part with taming her, because that were another 100 lines or so in my head ^^).

So what will I do for the group:
- Some serious stealth and perception skills (both of us have pretty nice start values) + scent tracking
- A little bit of healing (non-magical, and in case of melee pick also magical)
- Teamwork Feat partner, as I and also Emily will get a lot of them over time
- Hopefully some nice damage output
- Your wilderness scout & survival guide when we leave the city, while not playing the typical grumpy&serious forest and hill guy
- Regular and hopefully funny posts and roleplay
- Kitten Power! :-)

Here is Cuan with Tychoi

He is almost done, just need to pick a second trait and expand his gear.

If it's felt to be better I'll change him to Fighter (Lorewarden) as the base class. I love both version of the character quite a bit and I'm eager to play either version of him. The background would stay the same.

For secondary class I went with Investigator (Lamp Lighter). He'll start with Inspiration and then grab Ready for the Revelation at 5. After that it's Investigator Talents.

As for what he would bring to the group:
+ Close familiarity with Kintargo
+ A very personal interest in bringing down Thrune
+ A pretty decent punch from range with both weapons and magic
+ A limited selection of utility spells
+ Good scouting options and the knowledge to understand what he sees
+ Knowledge of arcane magic and the mechanics of spellcasting in general
+ He's a Halfling Slinger

Hmm, were we supposed to list what the character bring to the group rather than ourselves as a player? If so:
- A character with a strong desire to get rid of Thrune/make Kintargo a better place and will to drive things forward.
- A character with a tie-in to one of the campaign NPCs, Shensen.
- Someone with plenty of friends/contacts on the streets of Kintargo that can turn into teams.
- Awesome social skills and perception
- Knowledges for identifying monsters (starting at level 2)
- In combat a frightening character, making Non-fear immune enemies easier to deal with.
- A great tank in combat, able to avoid or absorb most blows
- Decent backup strategies of melee teamwork (with companion) and spells if intimidation doesn't work.
- Some capabilities in healing

Sorry, thanks to all the ice I've been without power or internet since Saturday morning, just woke up to its glorious return. Rushing off to work now, will have a post up this afternooon/evening when I return!

Just letting you ladies and gentlemen know that I am monitoring this thread! I am just working on a recruitment and have seen no more questions come up in this thread.

Oh and I forgot to mention, but SoP can be used.

Huzzah!

Figure Arya would probably be using that, then. I'll see about the specific details a little later. ^^

Mhh is there any open source for SoP, so I can look into that quickly? I read the link Rednal posted and this systems sounds awesome, but also really complex, like reading it up would not fit into a cramped university/work day ^^

Would SoP and vanilla casting both be available? And would it be possible to switch later on? (just curious of the system but I'm quite sure I will not have the time to read it until this might start...)

Someone's got a wiki for (most of) the information here. (It's all OGL material, by the way, totally legal to share.)

As for the complexity... it's the opposite, actually. The core rules for the casting system are two pages long, and I think it's actually easier than Vancian to learn and use. XD If you can play a vanilla caster, you can play a Spherecaster.

Well thank you, will take a look into it and then decide. Maybe if I'm convinced I will get the book and bring it into my own campaign, were my group was sucked into a parallel world were a arch demon secretly reigns the roman empire and starts invading other dimensions.
As they have just woken up it would be funny to change the way magic work there.
It would be hilarious to see that wizard mumbling his ever-the-same words and nothing happens until he figures thinks out :-)

Heh. XD I like where this is going.

(And you really CAN manage that fairly well... the different casting systems let you replicate a lot of traditional casting bits, like which components characters need, a requirement to invest sphere points before hand, and so on. <- If that doesn't make sense, don't worry, it will once you read through the system.)

While I can't comment on the balance of Spheres of Power, I must say that I'm not a huge fan of adding an entire new system of magic. Sure it might be easier to learn than traditional casting, but it's still an entire new system to learn which will take time and effort from everyone selected for the game. Of course it's possible to play with other characters using it without knowing how it works, but it's still nice to be able to figure out what the rest of the party can do/will be able to do. Just my two cents of course, feel free to ignore it, it's not a huge deal...

Whoops! I forgot to add what Corvus brings to the party...
- Corvus will primarily be based around party buffing initially with Inspire Courage and Flagbearer feat at 3rd level.
- With a Full BaB, I plan to play him as a skirmish-type fighter but not the front-liner by any means. Once we get higher up in level and I can start piling on the heavier armor (thanks to Arcane Duelist), then I plan to take him into heavier fighting. Ideally, I would like to focus on Longspear with Banner of the Ancient Kings to really throw out the party buffs.
- Heavy social skills, will be great at Diplomacy and Bluff, not so much Intimidate (figure leave that to the Smash-type characters).
- As we level, Corvus will be bringing more urban-based powers from the Streets oracle mystery; such as a high stealth and being able to stealth while being observed while in a crowd (AWESOME). I also plan on picking up the ability that will allow him to disguise everyone in the party to blend into the area really well.

Lastly, I just need to wrap up his equipment and Corvus will be all set. If you see anything questionable or have any questions, in general, Infernal, please do let me know!

Ok, I wrote this a ways before, but I think I forgot to post them: For Aleksara and what she brings to the party.

Aleksara:
What does she bring to the table:

1. Potential: Aleksara has multiple abilities (magical and otherwise), but her true potential has yet to be explored due to her limited experience. Her natural untapped potential for both subterfuge, and diplomacy can be very important in the future of the campaign obviously. If you include her spells and sorcerous blood-line abilities to augment her already high charisma in such situations, it seems a bit scary.

2. Conviction: She has seen and experienced true evil, horror, and slavery and what it really means. She has the willingness to fight for freedom for herself and those she protects at almost any cost. Unfortunately, this could also drive her to many lengths others may hesitate to broach.

3. Versatility: Whether it is ghosting rooftops of Kintargo like a Golarion version of Batman- swinging her deadly Katana and frightening her foes, or using her magical abilities that will allow her to quickly make friends of enemies or just blast them into smithereens as she chooses: There will eventually be few challenges she will not have the capability to overcome quickly.

4. Combat: Aleksara prefers to remove threats as quickly as possible, preferring to use magic first by charming her opponents (charm person), or disabling them (web bolt). If full conflict is inevitable, she falls back on her ever-sharp katana and quick feet. She has no illusions, and she can fight with the best, but she knows her stamina is not what other front-line fighters would be.

5. Anonymity: She's a fresh face in Kintargo with no hard ties to anyone or anything. She's the perfect saboteur-to-be, and at higher levels the nar-perfect spy with her natural ability to disguise herself in other forms.

I updated Asha's profile to fill in the last few bits (what her and me would bring, choices for class upgrades and second class features).

Yeah, well... maybe if this whole new magic system was mentioned like 5 pages ago, I would have tried a Cleric or something. For me, it has been brought up a little bit too late, so I'll stick to what I've got.
If any of you guys is planning on bringing any other new system to the game, try to do it now so I have time enough to have a look at it and build around it. Try not to wait 5 more pages :P

Which brings me to the reason why I'm posting:

You mentioned you've got cookies enough... and I happen to be a bit lacking atm... Can we make a deal?

This is Trawets71 finished character (I think). If there are any questions, suggestions or comments please let me know.

What I bring to the table: Cookies and Beer. Ok that being said I don't take myself too seriously and try to keep things fun. That's why we're all here, I hope. I'm a reliable poster on my PBP games and I try to move things along when I can.

What My character brings: Skills. I see him as the spymaster or information gatherer for the group. Not an upfront fighter but can help, especially with some time to buff.

@Chejop: Rednal already snuck Aegis in there. I don't think he is taking any psionic stuff, but the class itself is kinda a system of its own. There is always path of war as a possibility for another system, but I don't think anyone have requested that yet, not sure what RVT's feelings on that are.

In fairness, I mentioned the idea BEFORE making the character and got our GM's comments on it. XD So it's not like it came totally out of nowhere as a submission. If your sounds cool to you, I say go for it and just try to make the most interesting character you can. XD

(Incidentally, casters of any type are easy to convert to Spheres if that's what you'd like to do.)

I got nothing against the Aegis, at least not without psionics. I just wanted to inform him of other systems already approved for the game.

SoP: SoP was approved for specific players. It is not changing the way that everyone's spells work, just those who select it.

Although it is totally cool enough for everyone to use it.

GM Infernal Mistress wrote:

It's interesting news. Especially since Rednal also infected me with it. It may yet alter what I'll submit.

I am still holding my submission as I have two character ideas I would like to play in other recruitments that will close in a few days.
It's something I want to play, but not something I want to play as clone in two games, so what I want to submit will kind of depend on the outcome of those other recruitments.
I trust it will be open for a few more days(or i'll get a last-minute chance to submit something if you announce you'll close it soon, having already announced my intent to do so?)

I will be back later to post. About to eat and probably get on Guild Wars 2 for a while. ^_^

I hate to be that guy...oh, who am I kidding? I love being that guy with the weird ass characters.

Would it be possible to use the Merciful Curse?

Merciful:
You are bound to offer tender aid to those who are most wounded.

Effect

If a non-enemy character who is adjacent asks you to heal them, or asks you for help and you can tell they have taken damage or drain or suffer from a disease or poison, you must help them on your next tum. If they have a condition or suffer from a poison or disease that you can neutralize or cure with any ability you possess or any spell you can cast, you must do so as your next action. Otherwise, if they have taken any damage, you must cast a spell or use an ability that heals hit points. Also, you cannot perform a coup de grace. You gain the ability to lay on hands, as the paladin ability, using your curse level as your paladin level.

At 5th level, you gain a mercy, as the paladin ability.

At 10th level, you gain a second mercy, and can exchange your first mercy for a different one.

At 15th level, you gain a third mercy, and can exchange one of your existing mercies for a different one.

My character is essentially going to be an ex-thief whose been caught by Cheliax and was partially redeemed by a Cleric of Sarenrae, so the Curse fits far too nicely. Plus extra healing is always good.

The assassin is proving more difficult to pull together then I first thought. >p

As for the spell-casting kitsune you nixed my first idea so I'm batting around a new idea for her.
I just wanted to ask a few questions before I started fleshing her out. The idea is this:

Arcanist (White Mage archetype)
Secondary class features: Oracle
I was thinking of using the Mystery (Life) and Mystery Spells, but either in combination with the Oracle's Curse: Wrecking Mysticism or the Oracle archetype: Nine-Tailed Mystic.
Both of these allow one to replace the Mystery Spell with the Extra-Tail feat.

I just couldn't remember if you ruled on archetype options for the secondary class features.

The other feature I would consider taking from Oracle would be Revelations
So the picks would be:
1 - either Mystery or Oracle's Curse
5 - either Mystery spells 1st or Mystery
10 - either Revelations 1st or Mystery spells 1st
15 - either Revelations 2nd or Revelations 1st

Ok, I was thinking, and...

WAIT!! Thinking? Guys, don't let me think! Nothing good can come out of my hea-

*SLASH*

A head rolls on the floor somewhere

Ok, as I was saying... shakes off his hands I was thinking about the fact of getting feats/talents or similar with the secondary class feature. I thought it was one way, but I now think it's not exactly like that.

What we've been doing is:
Spend a feature to get 2 feats/talents.

How it should be, imho, to be in par with all feature selections:
Spend a feature to get the class's feat/talent progression up to level X (probably 10, as you can also get the full Sneak Attack progression or Flurry of Blows Progression up to level 20 by spending 2 features, but anyway).

So, for example, let's say you get the progression up to level 5, and spend a feature to get Fighter Feats. You'd receive the progression up to level 5, that is: one feat when you reach level 1, another at level 2 and another at level 4. Beyond that, spending another feature would get you to level 10, that is, feats at 6th, 8th and 10th.
In the case of rogue talents, that would be talents at 2nd and 4th for the first feature and then more talents at 6th and 8th (and 10th if you don't want to pick up Advanced Talents with another feature).

Of course, as features are selected every 5 levels, you might end up picking feats/talents for levels you've already left behind, but you get to use them from now on (that is good, even if it tastes like cinnamon). This will also make easier to know when can you pick "must be level X" choices.

Does all this bullshit make sense?

About the progression up to level 5 (roughly 2-3 feats/talents per feature pick) versus progression to level 10 (4-5 feats/talents per pick) is up to you, I just thought if one can get full Sneak or Flurry with 2 picks, why not with these choices also, but I'm not sure if that would make it too powerful. I personally think the problem is not this being too powerful, but picks like "XXX gets the feat YYY for free" being around, which you'll never spend a feature on because you only get 4 features for cool things, not a free "everyone can get" feat. But hey.

I don't want to sound like I'm begging (though I am, a bit :P), but rather trying to figure out a way to standardize this picking of progressive features in a way (while begging). Sometimes I get a bit stuck with my "Excel Sheet" thinking (and so I beg :P).

While you think about it (or probably farm in RL) Imma go watch the Royal Rumble!!!! So you can do spoilers and that.

PD About SoP, I'm super cool with it, I hope none of you did misunderstand... I just would have wanted it to be brought in before, and I would have given a try at it. Seems interesting.

I don't have the money to drop on the pdf, so I couldn't get into the details of SoP. But it does seem like a pretty cool system. From the bit I read it reminds me of the spell point system from 2nd edition D&D I used a few times.

Well its more or less the same on my side, as I am moving to another place next month, soo money is frozen atm until I successfully moved and everything is done there. So Simon will stay with vanilla casting, although the enhancement sphere looks very nice^^

SoP looks really cool, but I just don't have the time to learn an entirely new casting system right now. So if Corvus is selected, I'll be sticking with the standard casting system.

JonGarret: Merciful is fine if oracle is the class that you draw your extra class features from.

Spacefurry: Most of the proposed ideas are fine, but remember that no spells can be gained from the class feature.

Chejop: In the case of feats, rogue talents, and such, I guess I could allow 4 levels of it per selection.

I will be back to post later today. About to go do some video gaming! ^_^

GM Infernal Mistress wrote:
Chejop: In the case of feats, rogue talents, and such, I guess I could allow 4 levels of it per selection.

So I guess you mean something like that, for example:

Lvl 1 Class Feature (Sneak Attack or Trap Finding)
Lvl 2
Lvl 3
Lvl 4
Lvl 5 Class Feature (Rogue Talents up to level 4)
Lvl 6
Lvl 7
Lvl 8
Lvl 9
Lvl 10 Class Feature (Rogue Talents up to level 8)
Lvl 11
Lvl 12
Lvl 13
Lvl 14
Lvl 15 Class Feature (Rogue Talents up to level 12)
etc

It seems like 2 talents per pick (except the level 15 pick is trucky).

Lemme try with Investigator.

Lvl 1 Class Feature (Inspiration)
Lvl 2
Lvl 3
Lvl 4
Lvl 5 Class Feature (Investigator Talents up to level 4)
Lvl 6
Lvl 7
Lvl 8
Lvl 9
Lvl 10 Class Feature (Investigator Talents up to level 8)

In this case, the level 5 pick only grants you 1 Talent (since Talents start at level 3).

It seems this way is worse, so I guess I'll stick to the "2 talents per pick" thing. Sorry for bothering you :)

PD didn't know there were still people around GW2. I might even animate one of my chars back, just to check.

Do you have a deadline for submissions yet? I like to have a date to make sure I have everything in order. I'm still missing to fill in some of the fluff for Jax even if he already got a backstory and mechanics.

@Chejop: I think that all can be handled much simpler once players are selected by simply going over each selection on a case by case basis to figure out if it's fair to make it larger or smaller.

The spells gained from the Mystery Spell feature would only be added to the caster's spells known, not added to the number of spells per day. And I was thinking of sacrificing them for feats anyway. The healing spells the Mystery provides are nice, but an Arcanist doesn't really get any extra feats which are what I need.

GM Infernal Mistress wrote:

JonGarret: Merciful is fine if oracle is the class that you draw your extra class features from.

No, I'm afraid it's my main class. My extra class in Unchained Rogue, since my character is a mostly reformed thief. Shall I switch it? I can probably wrangle Legalistic or Haunted into the back story.

oyzar wrote:

Yeah, that's why I said I'll stick to the "2 Talents per pick". In the future, we'll see.

Heck, it's even unfair to ask. I'm getting to play the Zen Archer I always wanted too (if I'm selected, that is) and ON TOP OF THAT, I get to improve two class basics AND add features from another class. How can I feel anything's not fair about it?
I'm just a little bit "need to know the rules to try playing by them", sometimes. Also, I'm very excited with how the character and the campaign itself looks, I can't help but having constant "extra ideas". I was serious when I said "don't let me think"! :P

Hola, this is Jon's character. I've left Merciful in for now, but I'm happy to edit it out if it doesn't meet approval.

What Does Blink Bring to the Campaign?

A little bit of everything. She's a full BAB character with magic and trapfinding. She's got decent AC for a level 1 character, and isn't too likely to drop dead. She's also a semi-decent party face, although currently only Diplomacy is really high.

What she does really well, however, is healing. Lots and lots of healing. Between spells, Channel Positive Energy and (if allowed) the Merciful's Curse Lay on Hands there will be plenty of healing. As we advance in level I'll also be able to get rid of most conditions.

As a player...well, I'm a tank. I work nights at a hotel, so even when I'm working I'll be online and able to post repeatedly. When I'm home I'm up late and free of distractions, because I only get on when my family is in bed. So it's not unusual for me to be around for two or three posts. I've been posting, consistently, to multiple games, for a few years now.

And I am completely and totally not above bribery. I once tried to bribe Owen K.C Stephens and his wife for a PDF I wanted with booze. We see you have cookies - but what about brownies?

Appearance:
Of medium height and a lithe build, Blink doesn’t resemble a tiefling to most eyes, even within Cheliax, which sees quite a few of the race. Her skin is darker than most, and her eyes are an eerie electric blue. Her hair is long and dark with a shimmer of blue to it, and usually tied back in a long braid or ponytail.

The most noticeable thing is her skin, covered in a series of lines and swirls that look like tattoos. However, she was born with them etched into her skin and unfading over time. She has no idea exactly what they mean, if anything, but they look pleasant to look at, and she has considered adding to them with actual tattoos, or enhancing them with the same Fire Ink she uses for her holy symbol.

Typically wearing loose, baggy clothing to hide her somewhat minimal armour and long skirts with slits up to the thigh to allow easier movement, Blink typically wears blue and white clothing. She will sometimes add gold studs to her nose and ears, when she feels a need to. A child of the streets, Blink never got the hang of shoes and finds them strange and uncomfortable, and so tends to wear sandals only when absolutely needed by manners or dangers.

Blink’s voice is a mezzo-soprano, and she typically smells oddly neutral, as she tries to use unscented cleaning products on both herself and her clothes and avoids perfume like it contains a plague. When she wears makeup she uses shades of blue and gold.

Personality:
Blink would love to think of herself as a pragmatist. That’s not entirely true, however. She isn’t cold or calculating enough to be as ruthless as she’d need to be, instead willingly spending resources on things and people simply to help out. This doesn’t mean she isn’t practical, but she simply isn’t as calculating as she would like to believe.

Pretty by most standards, Blink is good at convincing others to do as she suggests, using passionate arguments and logic in roughly equal measure. She understands that the majority of people will follow their heart in the spur of the moment, but there heads needs to agree for any kind of lasting agreement to work.

Her early life have left Blink focused and determined, but not entirely trusting of others. Her time as a slave has shown her how good and evil mortals can be. It’s only the kindness and warmth she experienced there, despite the awful conditions, that allow her to trust people at all. But underneath it is a girl who spent most of her childhood alone and hidden away in spots no one else could get to, and she’s quite lonely.

Background:
It’s easy to be a thief when you can teleport, as Blink discovered at a young age. A child on the streets, with only a limited idea of what a Tiefling was let alone that she was one, the colony city of Khari was not a kind place to street children, and no kinder to Blink than any other. At least, not until she discovered she had an advantage than none of the others. If she could see a place, she could teleport to it.

You’d be amazed what you can see with darkvision at night, through a window pane or a crack in the door. A keyhole would do too, at a pinch. It certainly allowed young Blink to discover the joys of many things. Actual food that no one else had eaten most of and was already rotting, for example. Clothes were another, although she never really got the hang of shoes.

Blink played it smart, as she saw it. She didn’t take much, and she didn’t brag. Most of her thefts went unnoticed. But enough were noticed, and a teleporting figure was spotted enough times, that rumours began to flow about the thief named Blink. Blink, who until that time hadn’t had a name, thought that it was quite a good one. She took it, as she took so many other things, quietly and without bragging.

Rumours, even ones as small as this, draw attention. Blink, having successfully evaded capture until she was a teenager, had gone onto larger things. Now a few gold coins would vanish from a shop, a small gem from a jewellers. Slowly, but quietly, she was growing rich. Successfully doing so meant she was quite shocked when she opened a chest, took a small bag of silver...and found out there was a spell named Dimensional Anchor the hard way.

She soon discovered that the man who captured her had two others - a set of Dimensional Shackles and a plan. A slave master from Cheliax proper, Davram Yelka had dreams of being bigger and better than a simple peddler in human flesh, and he took Blink back to Cheliax to further that goal. She was trained as a thief. Taught to pick locks and disable traps. Combined with her ability to teleport, she would be an unstoppable thief...once the manacles finally came off.

She was cared for by an elderly Dwarf named Kell Vala. The dour old man, it turned out, had once been a Paladin of Sarenrae. Now fallen, broken in body and in spirit, he was a slave as surely as she was. But he was kind and he genuinely cared about Blink and the other slaves in Davram’s household. And Blink grew to care about him.

Davram had been waiting for that.

Once he decided Blink cared enough, he has his leash. He removed the manacles...and placed a blade to Kell’s old throat. Don’t return by sunrise? He doesn’t see the Dawn he worships again. The words echoed in Blink’s ears as she did her master’s bidding. She couldn’t allow Kell to die. She couldn’t.

And perhaps if it had remained at theft, Blink would still be trapped. For a while, it was there lives, with Blink and Kell leading the household slaves...and Kell being held hostage. Blink realized, as she grew closer to other people in the house, that this was the purpose for that, too - Blackmail material once Kell passed. But she had no idea what to do, and if she stole - well, she’d been stealing all her life.

But Davram had other plans. Once Blink had stolen a small fortune for him, Davram ordered her brought before him. I have enemies, he whispered in the young girl's ear, And you shall be the blade the solves them.[/b] An old Elven Curve Blade of gleaming silver, a weapon she had been trained for hours with, was pressed into her hands and a family name and address whispered in her ear. [i]Tonight, they die. From oldest to new born.

Kell was old. A failure as a Paladin, he had broken his vows and fled. Now, however, seeing his young charge weeping and knowing it was his life that held her there...he knew he had to change things.

As Blink drew on the armour she had been given she heard fighting in the halls. Looking out she saw, of all things, Kell. Reaping a toll with a scimitar he had hidden away years ago, the broken old man lunged and danced among the house guards, screaming the name of his Goddess as he fought. Guard after guard went to the Paladin, and Kell fought on. They fell back, shooting arrows, and he came on anyway. And when Blink saw the old Paladin finally fall, the blade of the scimitar buried in Davram’s guts, she realized something else...almost no one was guarding the slave quarters.

Blinking away the tears, she did what Kell would have wanted, and freed herself and her fellows. They ran for a night and a day, until a contact from the Bellflower Network found them and helped them. Blink was smuggled out of Cheliax completely, into a temple of Sarenrae in Andoran. At her request, she learned more of what Kell had tried to teach her, and eventually vowed to give up theft as a way of life.

When she did, she felt...different. Suddenly she was able to use abilities and magic she hadn’t been able to before. And suddenly she felt the need, a compulsion, to help heal any who asked her to. Granted the power of life itself, she had the holy symbol of Sarenrae tattooed onto her shoulder in glowing Fire Ink, to show her dedication, and then set off for Kintaro. She’d heard a core of resistance against the devil-backed Throne of Thrune was forming there, and she wanted a part of it.

Hola, this is Jon's character.

My Aleksara and Blink almost seem like two sides of the same coin.

=)
Cool.

That is kinda awesome, yeah. I'm guessing slavery is a popular theme when beating up on Cheliax.

I can almost see them fighting back to back, Katana and Elven Curve Blade flashing in the near dark of a back alley somewhere, fighting off shadowy enemies right and left!

Anyone knows a cool wooden-ish material (aside from Greenwood and Darkwood) that I can afford to make my bow from? I'd be appreciated and hand in some cheesecake.

You could try Whipwood or Wyrwood

I added some character information for Simon. Hopefully my description of him lies inside of neutral-good, as I always have trouble deciding on the boundaries of alignments.
Just tell me if you have some problems with the way I image/describe him and being neutral-good.

Also added a flute to my gear, so I can be the entertainer on long evenings or accompany any bard or grab some silverlings for playing on the market in downtime - who does not like a solo-entertainer-cat? :-)

Simon: Rett can join you, then, he knows the art of dance. The strong-legged athletic soldier's kind of dance.
