Pip nudges Zippy
"Go do your wind thing Zipster!"
Zippy nods and turns into a whirlwind, heading for the aberrant elephant
one sec to deal with him..
The Zippy tornado splits into 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5 images
Mirror image
The images round on the aberration and fire a lightning bolt
lightning: 6d6 ⇒ (5, 3, 3, 3, 6, 3) = 23 reflex DC 17 for 1/2
Pip sights the nightmare pachyderm and pulls a glowing green arrow out
"Time to clip Dumbo's wings"
OK. Arrows are aberrant bane
Attack 1 (manyshot also)1d20 + 21 ⇒ (1) + 21 = 221d8 + 19 ⇒ (6) + 19 = 25
Attack 21d20 + 21 ⇒ (11) + 21 = 321d8 + 1d6 + 19 ⇒ (5) + (6) + 19 = 30
Attack 3 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (14) + 19 = 331d8 + 1d6 + 19 ⇒ (1) + (5) + 19 = 25
Attack 4 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (11) + 19 = 301d8 + 1d6 + 19 ⇒ (4) + (4) + 19 = 27
Additional damage for Manyshot (if ATK 1 hits): 1d8 + 1d6 + 19 ⇒ (1) + (5) + 19 = 25

Elgan Dreadwood |

Ok,...
Elganelemental throws up his arms, and a thundercloud forms over the godlings head. A single, bright flash stabs downwards, the echo of thunder in the enclosed space is deafening.
Call Lightning Storm, as Call Lightning bur more dice dmg.
Lightning damage 5d6 ⇒ (2, 4, 3, 6, 2) = 17
Elgan the elemental flies a little closer,.... (but not withing striking distance until next round. Then it is ON!)

dungeonmaster heathy |

The good outsider's lightning bolt does a little bit to the pachyderm from hell, but not much.....
and Pip's arrows all glance off the thing for no effect.
Claw's turn; also Elgan if he wanted to recant per Altai's wishes and heal the unfortunate kung fu master......

Pendobar 'Pip' Bushytoe |

Hmm. Forgot a little fun piece I picked up back at AsgardMart
Pip brightens as he rummages in his quiver. He pulls out a gnarled ebon-shafted arrow graven in blasphemous runes
"Let's see if ol' Dereleth here does anything"
using arrow of greater Aberrant slaying for 1st shot, others aberrant bane
Attack 1 (manyshot also)1d20 + 21 ⇒ (18) + 21 = 391d8 + 100 + 19 ⇒ (6) + 100 + 19 = 125
Attack 21d20 + 21 ⇒ (16) + 21 = 371d8 + 1d6 + 19 ⇒ (8) + (4) + 19 = 31
Attack 3 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (17) + 19 = 361d8 + 1d6 + 19 ⇒ (2) + (3) + 19 = 24
Attack 4 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (19) + 19 = 381d8 + 1d6 + 19 ⇒ (1) + (5) + 19 = 25
Additional damage for Manyshot (if ATK 1 hits): 1d8 + 1d6 + 19 ⇒ (5) + (5) + 19 = 29
Zippy tries his lightning trick again
Lightning: 6d6 ⇒ (1, 1, 6, 4, 2, 3) = 17 reflex DC 17 for 1/2

Altai's summoned monsters |

Gjetost shakes his head, tarry blood trickling from his nose and little pieces of gravel rolling out of his shirt cuffs. "Good one. Now, it is my turn."
No move. Full, hasted attack sequence. He's using 4-point Power Attack; this also seems like an opportune time to uncork his Smite Evil attack.
Attack 1: 11+29+3(bard)+1(Haste)-4(Power attack)+2(Bull's STR)+0(his useless CHA bonus to smite evildoers)=AC 42, damage 2d8+23+3(bard)+3(Bull's STR)+12(Power attack)+18(smite evil)=68. This attack counts as magic and Good.
Attack 2: 12+24+3(bard)+1(Haste)-4(Power attack)+2(Bull's STR)=AC 38, , damage 2d8+23+3(bard)+3(Bull's STR)+12(Power attack)=50.
Attack 3: 12+19+3(bard)+1(Haste)-4(Power attack)+2(Bull's STR)=AC 33, , damage 2d8+23+3(bard)+3(Bull's STR)+12(Power attack)=44.
Attack 4 (bonus from Haste: 10+24+3(bard)+1(Haste)-4(Power attack)+2(Bull's STR)=AC 36, , damage 2d8+23+3(bard)+3(Bull's STR)+12(Power attack)=51.
Additionally, the creature bleeds 9 hit points from Gjetost's critical hit last turn.

Emrael Bladewalker |

Smite Evil has changed. It continues to be in effect until the target is dead, so he should have the bonus damage on all attacks.
As a swift action, the paladin chooses one target within sight to smite. If this target is evil, the paladin adds her Cha bonus (if any) to her attack rolls and adds her paladin level to all damage rolls made against the target of her smite. If the target of smite evil is an outsider with the evil subtype, an evil-aligned dragon, or an undead creature, the bonus to damage on the first successful attack increases to 2 points of damage per level the paladin possesses. Regardless of the target, smite evil attacks automatically bypass any DR the creature might possess.
In addition, while smite evil is in effect, the paladin gains a deflection bonus equal to her Charisma modifier (if any) to her AC against attacks made by the target of the smite. If the paladin targets a creature that is not evil, the smite is wasted with no effect.
The smite evil effect remains until the target of the smite is dead or the next time the paladin rests and regains her uses of this ability.
Emphasis mine on interesting bits.

Emrael Bladewalker |

Emrael frowns at the amount of damage the thing is doing and her lack of success in damaging it. She draws upon her magic to prepare an attack, but remains out of the creature's reach.
Preparing Pool Strike, acid-flavored, for next round, to be delivered through the katana.

dungeonmaster heathy |

How does the Thing look? Altai's action depends on how messed-up it looks.
Pip's heinous arrow does a woeful wound to the thing......his arrows and Gjetost's blows lay the brother low. He falls into bouldery chunks that turn into balls of squirming worms.

Elgan Dreadwood |

Elgan, eloquent as ever, sums it up nicely.
"Ewww,... Dat ain't raight,..."
If The big fella (Getjost) needs to be fully healed to stay summoned, I can burn another 7th level spell to give him a heal for 150 HP. But it will leave me with only 1 lvl 7 spell/heal slot for the remainder of this mission. Just FYI. :) But I'm still good for other cure spells and wands. :D

Elgan Dreadwood |

Elgan starts tapping the wounded monk and samurai with his wands.
CCW wands. good for 4d8+16 per tap. Just say when! :)
FIrst round of CCW taps (PResuming 4 wounded)
4d8 + 16 ⇒ (4, 2, 5, 8) + 16 = 354d8 + 16 ⇒ (5, 5, 1, 3) + 16 = 304d8 + 16 ⇒ (1, 5, 3, 3) + 16 = 284d8 + 16 ⇒ (5, 2, 8, 2) + 16 = 33

Altai Iscarni |

dungeonmaster heathy |

The four orange fields are wooden doors. They sound like they're breathing; they are sculpted with frescoes of morbid scenes.
The statues are ornately armored humanoids with curling pig tusks and curved swords with rings on the blade.
The pit is cold, and dark. You can't see too far into it.

dungeonmaster heathy |

The room is massive, and opens out on a wide wide river lazily flowing by.
This doesn't make sense.....
It's warm as well; on the other side of the river it looks like a desert.
A raised platform sits before the river. A woman reclines asleep on it, on her back, perfectly still.
Odd pictograph writing is on the walls; people and people with animal heads.

dungeonmaster heathy |

Wind comes off of the river, you smell the reeds waving in the breeze, and there's sand in the wind.
A single waterbird flies lazily over the lazily flowing river. You hear grunting; a pod of these massive things that look like fat, grey, bald......horses maybe, or the bastard child of a horse and a pig splashes into the river.......massive, grey piglike things.

Emrael Bladewalker |

The elven kensai looks through the door, a puzzled expression plain on her face. Eyebrow raised, she looks at the wizard who seems to know a little of everything and a lot of most things. "Someone's dreamscape, perhaps?"

Elgan Dreadwood |

"Yeh. Shuure. Dat soun's guud." Elgan adds in an oddly muted voice, staring at the scene before them.
"DAT ain't natch'rel," he adds, pointing at the animal headed persons.
"At leest not whar ah'm frum. But DAT might be. Hard teh tell frum here." He adds, pointing at the strange pig-horse things frolicking in the water.
