He ends up grabbing a big old wad of intestines, and smacking her by the head five times into the ground, and she's no longer moving.
Dayyum.
end of combat.
+4 katana
and
3 +2 katanas gained as treasure.experience points.....
7314 each.
The pool beckons. The key seems to be drawn to it, as if by phantom or telekinesis.
His fingers twitter in the air at the prospect. He pays 60 percent of price, instead of the usual 50 percent, for the lovely blades.

Emrael will hold onto the +4 sword until/unless someone has a problem with it. I believe the sale of the three +2 blades at 60% would bring us 15030 gp. Obviously, the +4 is greater than my share, so I have no claim to any of the cash - or anything other treasure for a bit, I think.

The problem is I never can figure out what to buy for a druid! ;P I still hav ea few thousand GP burning a hole in my pocket, but I just can't figure out good things to buy, other than to upgrade his armor or Amulet again. :(
Get a metamagic rod for spellcasting (would a quicken rod work for your summoning?)
More Pearls of Power, higher level
Staff of Healing or Summoning
Add +1 to your Amulet - or Keen
Note, these ideas all strictly off the top of my head with no research as to their true efficacy. I just looked at your character sheet to see what you already had...

Last time I asked for a pony, the DM gave it to me. My only warning was the whistle of the wind through its bridle as it fell on me from 200' in the air. Oof.
By the way, I started a thread about dancing weapons to find out what the various denizens of the boards think, but it is not getting much attention yet. Since this is really the only place that it matters, what do you think?
Does a dancing weapon benefit from the wielder's feats and special abilities as though they had it in hand, or does it only attack with their BAB (stated in the property description)? And, closely related, does the weapon benefit from the pertinent ability modifier if the wielder?
dungeonmaster heathy
I'm thinking the dancing weapon can't use feats, and ability mod's do not affect it.
(maybe a feat could be crafted to create this though. Dancing power attack.....dancing whirlwind........I'm leery of self crafting feats).
However,.......
reading BAB RAW, the dancing weapon definitely gets iterative attacks.
I'm holding my finger on the chess piece and contemplating the angles; however it definitely gets iterative attacks. That is clear from the RAW.
Physical ability mod's helping a dancing weapon just to me do not make common sense sense, nor does power attack for instance.
Mental ability mod's/things that reflect sword training do make common sensesense; however......I'm kinda afraid that by RAW they're not thrown in there because it might just really bork a character with a dancing weapon into a frenzied berserker broken state.
There's a lot of things that DON'T make common sense sense in the RAW that are that way strictly for game balance or for convenience of use......such as warhammers not punching through plate mail with ease, or falchions slicing through chain mail but being completely useless against plate mail, or like ninjas being balanced against other kinds of people instead of being major near superheroic badasses....

Well, It definitely depends on the all-mighty GM in the end,... ;P But, I have played with others who interpreted it both ways. (This was way back in 2.0 and 3.0 days, not PF)
The dancing property description says it can not make AoO's, but it uses the PC's Base att bonus, meaning that the mighty Heathy is correct, Iterative attacks if the PC is high enough att bonus to have them. :) I see nothing under the weapon properties descriptions, or magic weapons in general, that indicates whether or not Feats are usable with a weapon that you are not actually holding. I guess with only one weapon property that allows that, it's not a common problem,... ;(

My post from last night died due to battery failure. I'll accept your ruling, but how do you interpret this: A post from James Jacobs on the topic
dungeonmaster heathy
I didn't see that one; I was looking at the one above it.
I'll think about it some more then; my reading of the RAW didn't lead me to infer that something like "power attack" would work with a dancing sword, or a strength bonus "to hit and damage" would commute over to a dancing sword.
Emrael Bladewalker
Don't sweat it - I seem to be the only person I can find that has any doubt how this might be ruled. Well, me and JJ, and I just got told that he doesn't claim to be a rules expert. Stick with your ruling, I'll mull over whether it is worth using.
Emrael Bladewalker
Well, in that case, glad I could help! Seriously, I worked up a spreadsheet a while back where I enter the attack bonus and damage potential to get an average of the damage a particular combination of factors will yield. I was trying to figure out semi-scientifically at what point my TWF fighter needed to forego the second attack because the penalty was costing more than the extra attack gained. I'll dig it put and see what Emrael's average damage looks like with and without the dancing katana.

Right on;
it wasn't in the cards as I crafted this last combat, as my "predicting character actions Tarot" is pretty weak, and though I have a lot of (really great) ideas, I just wanted to know for sure before I went into hardcore build mode for such a jaunt.
Seeing as mothy himself has been gone for many many moons, I was kinda just dramatically writing him out of the game.
However, I do have an idea of where he went, what is up, the only thing that is a total fogjob at this point is what would be done with the character of Beldan once he was hypothetically rescued.
Also, I'm extremely intrigued with the idea that I've inadvertently created a perhaps irresistable McGuffin of sorts for the party to go after.....that's always convenient, especially with a party who has all of these totally bodacious transportation and scry spells at their disposal.
Satari-san
As the group discusses weapons and the road ahead of them, Satari takes the opportunity to cast an eye over the merchant's wares. The monk's face lights up when he sees an ancient tarnished amulet in the shape of an open hand. "Ah. Very nice - that is something that I would like; it reminds me of my first master in the House of Unfolding Palm. Long ago, now."
Upgrading to amulet of might fists +3. Leveled up to 15 and gained the Dragon Style feat.

In Character, Elgan is ALL about chasing after him. Immediately if not sooner. :) He has grown rather fond of the little sneaker after all. (On that note, anyone heard how Moth is doing lately? I haven't seen him post in FAWTL in quite a while.) But he will follow Altai's lead on that. He might be forced to 'give up' temporarily, but would still plan to keep looking for him after the immediate situation had been resolved.
