Venedictos
"I think it's safe to say that if it were just really good doors, one or two might look like this, but not all of them. We are probably not alone here, and I don't just mean the ghosts, and should begin to act accordingly."
Aeleanor Asaaru
All of you! Shh! Aeleanor says, putting her finger to her lips.
Let me scout ahead, I'll whistle if I need help. Just follow behind as quietly as possible.
Stealth: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (18) + 10 = 28
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15
She goes ahead, listening at the first door. If she hears nothing, she will crack it open.

Aeleanor listens carefully at the first door. All is silent so she carefully cracks it open to take a look. As she opens it, the air is suddenly filled with screams. All three doors bang open and hordes of ghostly figures that look horribly burned flood the room and rush out the front doors. As quickly as it starts all three doors slam shut.
Shol’a’saul
Shol'a'Saul nearly jumps out of her cloak (and the dress hidden underneath) when the apparitions fly by her. After they have vanished she moves over to the front door and attempts to open it.
I do not like this at all...
Gee I wonder if the door is stuck...All signs point to YES.
Venedictos
"It's more than a parlour trick, I'm afraid, but rather a fairly common manner of haunt, such as the word common can apply to such things. If you are content to wait a short while, I can destroy it with Shelyn's beauteous energies, or by sprinkling the doors with holy water."
Ricven Hartwar
Ricven braces himself as the doors seem to reset, but then releases some of the tension in his neck as Venedictos seems to offer a blessing that calms the spirits.
"Gorum guide these wretched souls away who spent their last moments fighting for life. Aid us to do better."
Then the fighter steps forward and opens the doors wide, peering into the next room.

Shol’a’saul
Shol'a'saul looks around her, noting the sagging benches and the level of neglect. "I wonder what this area was used for..." even as she scans the area for threats.
Perception 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19

The room looks like an auditorium. The stage area (on the south side) is seperated from the pews by the bars. If you enter by the small door on the south part of the wall, you end up on the stage, but the large door leads into the main room. As you pass the area in front of the stage in the main part of the room, you feel an area of bitter cold. By experimentation you determine that the 10' area right in front of the bars is much colder than the rest of the room. There is no apparent draft or wind and the area is stable and doesn't move at all.
Aerys is not far from the mark. This area was where inmates received their date of execution or other sentences.
Aerys Trajyon
"I wonder if the area of unnatural cold marks the spot where some prisoner attempted to attack the stage after learning of his sentence and was killed by the guards? Or perhaps during the riot the prisoners thought this might be a weaker spot, and perished in the fire?" Aerys muses aloud. "I would imagine prisoners entered from the double doors to the west - should we continue there?"
Aeleanor Asaaru
Hmm, I'll see what I can do. Aeleanor says, biting her lip and setting to work on the lock.
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21 (Traps)
Disable Device: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (13) + 13 = 26 (Trap)
Disable Device: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (1) + 12 = 13 (lock)
Disable Device: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (6) + 12 = 18
Disable Device: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (2) + 12 = 14
Disable Device: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (8) + 12 = 20
Disable Device: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (18) + 12 = 30

After a few attempts, Aeleanor opens the lock (DC30).
for some reason, my home computer will not let me work on GoogleDocs. I will post the updated map tomorrow at work or tonight when my roommate gets home and fixes problem for me.
The door opens into a 10'x10' entryway that opens into a 20'x30' room. A bizarre collection of antique goods rests upon wooden shelves that line the room. Several of the items contain tiny tags with labels written in a careful script.

Although much of the remaining property is junk, a few items remain that may be of interest, including a set of masterwork thieves’ tools, a bronze war medallion from the Shining Crusade (worth 40 gp), an unframed Taldan painting of Stavian I (worth 100 gp), a set of a noblewoman’s silver hair clips (worth 35 gp), a masterwork punching dagger, a pouch containing a dozen masterwork shurikens, a masterwork silver war razor, and a wand of lesser restoration (12 charges).
I don't bother with identifying simple magic items as you can just keep rolling. More unique things I will have you roll for.
everyone else make a perception roll too.
Shol’a’saul
Shol'a'saul's eyes are cauf=ght by the pretty hair clips, and she slides them into her own long silvery hair, pinning it back in a simple yet elegant style.
She claims the hair clips, but is not interested in any other items...including the wand.
