Van will shoot blue and yellow if blue goes down.

I finally managed to get wifi!
Both bolts hit the target but he still stands!
The blue lad throws an axe at Van Helsing and unsheathes a greataxe! The green-clad dude throws a ray of fire at Nemis while the yellow one drops his short sword and draws a shortbow to attack Van Helsing. However, they all fail and stay on their pipe!

Seeing the others dispatch two with ease and the mage reeling from Nemis' assault, Aiden decides to focus on the archer. He drops one of his knives and grabs his net. The Chelaxian hurls it at the archer, hoping to tangle him up and cause the man to fall to the floor.

***OVERSEER ANNOUCEMENT***
Small groups of challengers slowly begin emerging from the tunnels, some elated at having a vase, some looking crushed with defeat as they stare at their empty hands. Victorious or vanquished, they drift off into the night to get clean and well rested after a crawl through a sewer.

You got the vase. It's only my fault if we couldn't end the encounter earlier, my apologies.
The assailants fall to your deadly attacks and, out of idea, you just cut the cage's chain and bring the vase back to the surface.
You go in the last corridor and open a trapdoor, revealing the sub-basement of the warehouse arena, where a number of tengu monks appear to be sweeping and tidying things up. The tengu monks pause in their sweeping and tidying to bow to you as you climb up with the cage and vase. "Congratulations, honorable ones, on finding a vase. We shall contact you tomorrow!"
They return to their sweeping and tidying. After all, it is bad form to leave a dojo in a state of disarray.
You return to your inn to rest from the day. The fire is roaring, and the dark wooden furniture is filled with a genial crowd of people drinking beers and wines or eating onion and cheese soup with thick slices of whole wheat bread. After a few moments, you each find your own rooms to go to sleep.
I assume that you'll heal fully before going to the hotel.
However, as you get into your rooms, you have a strange surprise! Some of you are welcomed with a dart as a ninja stands in the corner of your room, ready to attack you. Only Fimbir is able to react before the assault!

Wrong room. The gnome turns imeadiately back around and moves towards the front desk, calling out Hey guys? I think this may have been less secret of an inn than we thought!

Fimbir moves away and dodges unwillingly a dart that sticks itself in the door. However, Aiden and Nemis are not as much fortunate and each get a dart stuck in their skin! Fimbir, Van Helsing, Archon and Varuna distinctly hear strange sounds coming from Nemis and Aiden's chambers.

Having turned in a bit early, the priest was only beginning to doze off for a nap while reading when the strange sounds occur. Hearing something strange coming from the rooms just down the hall, oh jeez, what now. Grabbing his Handy Haversack and just a light mace, just in case, the still groggy priest moves out. "Hey, everyone ok?" he calls, (prior to the shout of ambush!), while gently knocking on the first door. Probably just a nightmare from that stench, but still, it would be best to be well rested for the trials to come. "I can make you some tea that might help."

Hearing the noise as well, the wee fey begins to rise with a typical grumble. Just as one does not toss a dwarf, one does not disturb a Wayang, especially an already grumpy one.
Tossing his buckler at the wall as if to say "Shut up. Trying to snooze", the call of "AMBUSH" alerts him to actual danger, though doesn't seem to improve his mood. Grabbing for his rapier, the Swashtigator makes for the door as well.

Aiden feels the bite of the poison but manages to land a blow on his assailant. He tries to tumble away but fails and takes a critical slash in his back, almost falling on the ground.
Fimbir burns a patch of the wall and you all hear a tavern's patron shouting in distress "THEY'RE BURNING MY FAV' INN!" in the background.
Nemis thrusts the assassin's mind while Archon comes to help and lands a blow with his light mace, blocking any retreat the assassin might have. Van Helsing, despite the cover, manages to catch the man with a bolt and he falls to the ground, bleeding.
The remaining man makes an attempt to evade Varuna but takes a slash in the back as well and falls on the ground.
Since you didn't make the previous one, make another fort save DC 12 or take another 1 Con and 1 Wis damage.

On each assassin, you find 3 doses of bloodroot poison, a studded leather, darts, a masterwork short sword and gold.
By their garb, you identify them as qadirans, but they all have a bronze aspis badge inside their garb.
Fimbir is met by a half-drunken innkeep who raises an eyebrow.
"Security? Whatcha thinkin' lad. Dis is the Flying Dutchman, not the iron fortress. Did someone steal your sweetroll?" he says, laughing and not really grasping what happened as there's nearly no one left in the tavern, expect a few patrons asleep on their tables.

Aiden sits up, looking over his wounds which have disappeared with the help of Archon's wand. "Yeah, I'm good. Damn assassin took me by surprise, and his blade was poisoned."
The Chelaxian stands, gingerly and nods at Archon. "You'd think I would know better. I've pulled a similar tack before."
He kneels down to inspect the bodies and pulls out the Aspis Badge. "Aspis. Shoulda known. I bet they've been trying to take our spots in the tournament."

He then runs up the stairs, and then stops dead in his tracks. He pales as he looks at the three ninja bodies and hall covered in blood. Then he turns to Nemis and Archon, waving his arms as he encompasses the whole mess. "What did you do here?!"

"What did we do? Did you allow these people into our rooms?! That one there tried to knife me!" Aiden sounds incredulous. "If this inn is going to be known for thieves and thugs, I'm sure word will spread quickly. You may even lose a lot of your more profitable clients."

The innkeeper has a tear of joy and shakes Aiden's hand. "Oh thank you, thank you, m'lord! ELDA! Come here, we have to clean up everything!"
A woman quickly comes upstairs with a brushes and brooms and buckets of water.
"Sleep tight!" says the innkeeper.
