Kentalch thrusts thrusts his mind out as he connects with the beast, shredding it's thoughts.

Turning the creature flaps it's wings and a pair of razor sharp feathers blast out at Kentalch.

"That didn't look good," Alimony mutters as he reloads his pistol behind a crate. In a flash, he brandishes it from an unexpected angle and fires once again. "Shooting...you!"

Chetna runs between some boxes for cover and then fires her pistol at the creature. "Alimony, just focus so you can finish this mission and avoid sending another check."

Kentalch is close to bleeding out from being harpooned, he starts some magic mumbo-jumbo to close his wounds. Then he draws his semi-auto pistol.

Drawing his Azimuth laser pistol TRS fires on the alien.

Chetna and Alimony both get their trick shots off as the creature is caught flat footed and confused.

Kentalch draws his pistol and works on healing his wounds as the Feathered alien hurls two more feathers at Alimony.

Helps if I look up all my bonuses... another +4 bonus to bluff (dear lord) when doing a trick attack.

"Whoa!" Alimony exclaims as the feathers lodge themselves in his crate. He pokes out from behind it and fires again. "Play dead!"

I know Sneak Attack doesn't, but I can't see anywhere whether Trick Attack multiplies on a critical hit. Just in case:

The half-orc misses the shot, but he moves further down the catwalk.

Alimony's shot hits the beast right through the neck, dropping it instantly.

When Alimony lowers his gun, the alien is naught more than a burning husk. The sounds of battle go quiet as a voice from outside breaks the new silence, "All clear!" Station Security begins to sweep the warehouse for anymore signs of threats.

It doesn't take them long after to secure the warehouse. Unfortunately, the alien doesn't seem to have much in the way of treasure to make up for the injuries.

The news is greeted with excited chatter over the comm. "Now hurry up and get in line before they're sold out!"

That concludes one of your missions, so you head off to the line for the new album...

And instantly you find yourselves regretting a lot of your life's choices. The line looks like it's going to be about 6 hours of standing, followed by a mad rush of fans...

It is extremely boring.

Seriously, this is super boring.

"Well, that was the hard job out of the way," Alimony grins, blowing smoke from his pistol. "Buying an album won't be any problem in comparison."

Alimony surprises himself during the wait by containing his screaming to the inside. Perhaps he's too tired, though he does often moan. "I think there's an alien caterwauling inside my head," he complains on several occasions. "Could someone just laser it, please? Shot'll probably get me too."

Upon seeing the end of the line, the ysoki is momentarily overjoyed, but then notices the mob. He manages to wend his way through, all the while trying to make it clear that he has killed today and could kill again. Still, he buys a copy for himself. "Not everyone who wants one is gonna receive. And that's where friendly ol' me comes in."

Chetna really never was much for Strawberry Machine Cake. She prefers the indie scene and some of the older harder rock. Looking around at the throng of fan-beings waiting in line is kind of disturbing.

After hours of waiting and standing on her feet, she's starting to get an ache in her lower back. A bit of stretching alleviates it for the moment, but not completely.

Someone jams their elbow into her aching back as they try to push past. She's really tempted to draw her pistol, but keeps her cool.

Kentalch mind is used to the boredom caused by waiting for something that might never come, and his body has endured larger punishments than waiting in line taking one tiny step every 5 minutes or so.

"I really hope there is more to my life than this, my 'pa didn't smuggle me out of Apostae for this!"

And his frame was apparently built for withstanding a crowd closing in like this, he doesn't appear to be bothered by it.

"Are you done now? Can we get the friggin' album to Historia now?"

Although not as quick as a pick pocket would be, he's still stealthy enough to buy a copy for himself without drawing any attention.

Finally the party makes it out with copies of Star Sugar Heartlove!!!. When you return Zigvigix is quite happy, "Word came through about the warehouse, tremendous! Historia-7 will be quite pleased..."
