Brutus looks around briefly.

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20

Assuming he finds nothing of interest, he moves on to the next southern door.

Assuming you mean down the central corridor.

Brutus looks around in the room, but finds nothing of interest. Cursory examination of the clothing lying about the room identifies outfits of dwarven pedigree for three individuals.

Bruuts moves back into the corridor and unlocks the first door he comes to, opening it, with a loud metal on metal screech, to find a jail cell. The door to this jail cell has a small window at eye level, blocked by three vertical iron bars. Matted straw is strewn across the floor, and a set of manacles hangs affixed to the wall opposite the entrance. Two buckets sit at the center of this dank prison.

Crossing the hall, he finds the same thing.

Moving a little further he opens the third door. This cell is identical to the rest, save the lone emaciated dwarf lying in it. The dwarf sits up quickly and eyes Brutus for a long moment. Who might you be?

We were then brought here.. the she-dwarf looks around her surroundings, ..where ever here is, we were hooded. Anyway we have been interrogated twice by some wench who calls herself Holy Ahendile. The party regroups and heads back out with the dwarves. The dwarves are exhausted and need aid from the party just to walk, let alone climb out the trapdoor. Reentering the Inn, the party finds it eerily quiet.

Half rushing, half sneaking, the party heads out the front door into the courtyard. Stepping out into the courtyard, under a moonlight sky, the party begins to hear a slow clap coming from the direction of the well. Looking in that direction, you see a figure dressed in grey robes and wearing an iron mask. The figure hold an ivory colored wand, as it leans against the well.

Well, well, well. I must congratulate you on your subterfuge. You fooled the sisters well enough. Unfortunately, they had already sent for me, or your ruse may have worked. The figure nods toward Ran. Greetings "Sister"! I see you have taken the prisoners into your "custody". I'll be taking over now, since you here upon my authority!
