Orryn lifts into the air atop Stella, the pair gain altitude, then plunge again toward one of the hobgoblins. Orryn's lance finds it's mark, piercing through the hobgoblin's chest and exiting out it's back as it goes limp, held up only by the weapon.
Hokama, his slave boy and two of the drovers manage to hold their own against the goblins, killing two of the creatures.
The four goblins near Linnea looks like the best place for Yano's burst. Let me know if you see a better place.

Henry rides back over to the camels atop Indiana. "What! Is everyone well enough? Goblins in the desert! I never expected! Hokama? Is everyone safe? Where's the rest of the caravan? What! Ho!" The little halfling looks overcome with the rush of the battle as he spews out excited half-formed phrases.

Linnea coils her whip, feeling satisfied that nobody was seriously injured, when she hears Henry's cries above the wind. She sees the slave Hokama is one of the few left from the caravan.
"They've been taken!" she shouts to the party. As she rushes to Hokama, she gives the slave a once over to see if he's been injured in any way. Also, she thoroughly searches the camels for any signs of a struggle.

Or they've abandoned us to the desert. Orryn looks pointedly at Hokama. Which do you think it is, Osirian? You're more accustomed to these sands than we.

Hokama checks on the drovers and his slave boy before coming over and bowing low to the party. You have my eternal gratitude. I do not think we could have held off that horde without your aid. He wipes the sweat from his brow and watches for a moment as the sandstorm begins to taper off and dissipate. I do not think they were taken. We had lost rack of the caravan during the storm. They may not even know what has happened.
After a few minutes of discussion, the party discovers that while you successfully followed Hokama’s camels, the water merchant actually lost sight of the rest of the caravan, and they have now gone astray with no sign of the caravan in sight and with no real idea of where the Silken Way lies in this changed landscape of windblown dunes.
The best the party and Hokama can do is make your best guess at the trade route’s northwestern course and attempt to run across your compatriots. You are unable to locate the caravan but do have one bit of success; just before nightfall the party comes across a fresh corpse half buried in the sand. The desert jackals have been at it, making it hard to identify until they dig it out a bit and recognize the richly embroidered Katheer vest it wears and the purple fez that is crumpled beneath it. It is the corpse of Mahmoud, weapons merchant and business partner of the Taldan knight, Gaspar du Mer. Any question of simple misadventure is dispelled by the curved khanjar dagger that protrudes from Mahmoud’s back. It is recognizable as one of the pieces that he and Gaspar were carrying among their wares....
By the by, keeping Hokama and his party from dying at the hands of goblins fulfill the secondary mission objective. Hurray!

"What! Well! Treachery upon the Silken Way-murder it seems, on the Silken Way in our very own caravan! I, for one, did not see this coming!"
Henry examines the body. "It seems our caravan is having troubles without us. Rest well, everyone! Tomorrow we ride hard. We must catch up to them before any more foul play occurs!"

Treachery is clearly afoot. It may be your good fortune to have lost track of the caravan, Hokama; it may in fact have spared your life. Still, I fear our slayer has more on his or her agenda. We should seek to find our employer.

Linnea searches the body for any other clues to the nature of Mahmoud's murder - whatever can be made out.

After the others have prepped the body for burial, Linnea steps forward, clears her throat a bit and softly sings.
Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Linnea struggles to finish the last refrain, choking back tears. She steps back to allow the cleric to have the final word.
