Mikhail calls upon the power of Abadar and a burst of positive energy shoots out in all directions.

I have this as a third level spell. I am spending all three actions on it. Each heightened level adds +1d8+8 to this. And with three actions it goes 30 ft in every direction which I believe allows me to hit Kern, Piotr and the creature. If the height makes it so I can not hit everyone, please let me know as that would change my action.

Unfortunately, I don't think the 3 action version of Heal gives you the +8 per level bonus. It's just 1d8 per level.

3 Acions do not, but heightening it gives you an additional +8 per +1 spell level from what I can tell in the SRD.. I cast it as a third level spell.

According to the spell description in the Core Rulebook, heightening the spell by +1 increases the healing by 1d8, and increases the bonus on the 2-action version by 8.

Hmmm. I see what you are saying. It seems odd that it loses the healing bonus, but it apparently does. I will leave it up to the GM then. My goal was to get Piotr as much healing as possible but if too much info was gained we can just reduce the healing to all by 24.


The Medvyed is right. Only the two-action form gains the bonus. So the healing should have been 15, not 39.

Kern slices furiously at the wispy assassin, but does it no harm, simply slicing through the mist.

Piotr's magic missiles strike the creature unerringly, but with minor effect, followed a moment later by a sharp stone hurled by Alister which hits with deadly accuracy and makes the creature scream!

As Mikhail invokes holy power to drag Piotr back from death's door, Alister blasts the thing with lightning. It dodges out the way, getting caught only in a minor lance of electricity at the outer edge of the bolt.

Piotr, many/most creatures do not have Attack of Opportunity in PF2e. You don't have to Step and can just full-out run if you prefer. Usually. Do you want to do that?

I am betraying my unfamiliarity with PF2. Yes, Piotr will run like a scared little wizard.


Piotr runs, but has to run by the terrain of the path. The creature, even slowed, simply flies down the slope directly towards him. The creature, all horrid mist and dead white arms, slashes at him with fury and precision. The blows splash the ground with blood, but Piotr remains on his feet!

Mikhail is too far away to get the AoO.

Not immune, exactly. Just very difficult to harm.

Between the, Mikhail and Aristu blast the accursed assassin, so that it wails and keens its hatred and hunger and slowly fades away on the wind.

Don't bother rolling healing, but it will be days before Piotr is his old self. Until then, he is forgetful and his speech is full of odd pauses and meandering.

"Wish it were flesh and blood, then we could at least search it for evidence."


Several of you spot a large black bird on the horizon (no, not -that- one) flap off towards the north. It's too far away to catch.

I realize I probably gave the wrong impression. It's a normal-sized bird of a larger species - like a vulture or possibly a very large raven.
