Frizz pops the largest glowing bead from her necklace and chucks it toward the other side of the room, then ducks behind the pillar.

Damage (basic Reflex DC 21): 6d6 ⇒ (6, 4, 6, 4, 3, 5) = 28

Will save: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (12) + 12 = 24 Success. Target is Stunned 1.

Reflex save: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (14) + 10 = 24 Success. Half Damage.

As spells explode around it, the Brazen Minotaur seems momentarily stunned. The bronze plates must be partly impervious to fire!

The fight starts so quickly that Wymond instinctively cringes before realizing he's been hit and Lukas has healed him and everything is on fire and then not on fire!

"Thank ye kindly!" he says before shaking his head in surprise. "Bloody'ell what was THAT?!"

He points at the monster.

"Triath! Sic 'em!"

This prompts the heavenly boar to tear into the room and worry the minotaur's exposed flesh with his tusks, and then Wymond makes his attack!

Wymond should have taken a -1 penalty for Frightened.

Between the hefty strokes of Wymond's poleaxe and Triath's ripping tusks, the minotaur is harried and bloody, but still standing and dangerous! After clearing its head, it sweeps it axe, slicing both Wymond and Lukas!

Perfire creeps up to the doorway at the sound of battle and uses the last bit of his innate powerful magics to accelerate Wymond's body.

Looking at the map, both the Minotaur and Wymond are gone? I'm moving to its last known location in case that's just map hijinx.

Lukas moves in to fight the minotaur. He doesn't relish the thought of letting that axe sweep across him and Wymond again but he doesn't see a lot of options.

Step (1), Strike (1) Raise Shield (1); if he hits, I'll probably use Shield Block on it.

Frizz, all there is to know about minotaurs is they're big and hit hard. This one is bigger than most. No special weaknesses or strengths.

Yeah IDK what happened there but it looks okay now. Well, except for the fact I've got a big angry minotaur next to me.

Wait. There's a difference? I thought gnomes were just boy halflings.

Wymond feels the vim flowing through him and hacks at the monster again! Then he points Triath to keep at its legs while he strikes even more!

Perfire hurls a acid arrow at the minotaur before taking cover.

Frizz, does that square actually flank, or is it the one due south of you (which is in the wall)? GM, if he can keep that roll, I'll happily use an action to Stride into position to flank Brassy from the "horizontal".

Perfire's acid arrow burns its way into the minotaur's hide. As it howls in pain, Frizz scrambles forward and slices it across the thighs. The monster falls, snarling and snapping at its own legs, then dies.

COMBAT OVER!

Frizz scrambles atop the Minotaur.
"Whoa! Check out the plating on this guy. Wymie, we should make you a suit like this." She says jumping up and down on the sturdy bronze plating.

Poking the beast's plating with the tip of his sword, Lukas says, "I can't help but think it'd hurt a whole lot to get that on. Speaking of, how's everyone doing, need a bit of help?"

I'll Treat Wounds if we have time, going for the DC 20 check.

Medicine: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (19) + 13 = 32
HP regained: 2d8 + 10 ⇒ (4, 1) + 10 = 15

Wymond grimaces at Frizz's suggestion.

"No thanks. Looks like Klarkosh screwed it right into his skin, an' that's gotta hurt. Poor bastard didn't even realize Klarkosh was dead cause of how much pain he was in."

He looks to Lukas.

"He got a few knocks in, but I oughta be good should we run into something else that's as nasty."

Triath gives an agreeing snort.

Frizz hops down from atop the Minotaur. "Yea. You're right. It reminds me of all those pins and needles they stick in ya in Tian Xia, but that supposedly feels good."

"Do minotaurs have hoardes like dragons?" She asks as she searches around the room.

The chamber is bare, but Frizz spies a leather pouch on the minotaur's belt. Aside from its greatsword, this pouch is all the minotaur possessed. Inside, Frizz finds 15 gold coins, 3 small rubies (worth 15 gp each) and a shiny, pearlescent cut stone. It looks intriguing!

"Oooooo. Look at this stone! Perf, go stand over there and do you magic detector thing and then come closer to see if this thing is magical." asks Frizz.

Perfire has no idea what it is. "It is magical," he says.

Wymond raises an eyebrow.

"You been to Tian Xia?" he asks. His experience was much more limited. He'd never gone beyond Thornkeep or Fort Inevitable, let alone beyond the River Kingdoms.

"Oh yea. And I've been to land of the Lynorm Kings too! You can visit just about anywhere reading books. AndAbsalomHasOneOfTheBiggestLibrariesInTheWholeWorldSoTheyHaveBooksFromAllO verThePlaceAndThereWasAStoryAboutThisPlaceCalledSandpointAndTheyHadThisChop perGuyAndADevil..." Frizz rattles on about the various stories she's read in Absalom's library, all the while washing her sickle and refreshing herself in the pool in the room.

Lukas eyes Frizz enviously. "The library in my parents' home had little of such matters. Much on the terrors of the Whispering Tyrant, and the orcs over the border in Belkzen, though. Sounds interesting. Do we think we can handle another room?" He gestures at the door.

GM, your status post above does not reflect the post-fight Medicine check I'd made on myself to Treat Wounds, oversight?

I applied the healing to Wymond because it wasn't clear who was getting the healing. I'll reverse it.

Frizz dries her sickle off as she approaches the double doors to the west.

"Hey, we gonna see what's in this next room?! or what!?" She asks, giving the door a once over.

"Oh, so sorry to have kept you from that, Frizz," Lukas says dryly, as he moves to cover the woman's work should it become necessary.

Frizz opens the door to reveal a red turntable, with the passage open and turning south.

To save time...

Passing through, she finds a chamber with two levers, one red and one black. There is a staircase leading up.

"More levers! Hurry! Come look! Who wants to pull these ones? I think we should start with that red one! Lukas, have you pulled these levers yet?!" Frizz exclaims as she excitedly points into the newly discovered room.

Perfire lopes along behind the group.

Lukas stands perplexed for a moment. I swear, I took my eyes off the woman for ONE moment...

He panics a bit when he hears the exciteent in her voice. "Frizz, no wait, don't pull anything yet!" He shoots Wymond a quick glance, urging him to catch up.

Wymond looks sidelong back at Lukas and chuckles a bit.

"That's Frizz for ya," he comments. He trundles after Frizz leisurely with Triath trotting at his side.

Your ball, Frizz.

Having just past through a red chamber, Frizz flips the red lever.

"Hey! There are stairs here too!" she exclaims.

Up or down for the stairs?

Up only.

When Frizz hits the red lever, the turntable turns just as the last person (Slaagh) exits. Now it opens a passageway to the northwest.

Passing swiftly through the turntable, Frizz leads the team to a chamber dominated by a pair of double doors blocking the passage to the north.

Frizz checks the door for traps.

She finds nothing of concern!

Wymond follows after Frizz.

"Nothin' interestin' huh? he asks.

"Nope!" She grins as she pushes (pulls?) open the doors.

Lukas suppresses a wince as Frizz gives the doors her biggest shove.
