I believe that my statement is covered under "hit points".
My group found them a little squishy for huge (gargantuan?) critters.

I remember noting the HD when I was refreshing my memory about what the creature was like.

Very cool! I hope that the next set will be released before my group hits that module. We're currently 1/2 way through with Hook Mountain Massacre. I'm just sad that the HMM set was released the week *after* my party fought the Tentamort :-(
Keep up the good work!
Thanks Tamago! I hope to have the next wave in soon!
I would have liked to see pics of the Tentamort in combat. :-(

Me too. I think he's my favourite of the entire set!
My Druid ended up using a Charm Plants spell to take him over and used him to attack the Fort! I did *not* see that coming :-D
I did end up printing out the mini and giving it to her anyway, though. She was impressed.

Nice! Thanks for the kind review by the way. I feel I must explain that the reason the Black Arrows did not look so battered and broken is that I tried to envision them after joining the party and getting a few healing spells. I was really torn over that decision as well as whether to give them weapons or not. But maybe I should have had a few more bloodstains and torn clothes to illustrate what they went through.
Thanks again for the input, I really appreciate it.

You're welcome! I figured that was probably the reason they looked so good. And I can see the justification for not including weapons either, since at least for the first part of the adventure they are probably going to be equipped with whatever the PCs have to spare (which might not be their preferred equipment).
I ended up using metal minis for the Black Arrows anyway, since they stick around with the Party for so long.
BTW, I took a couple of pictures of the battle at Skull's Crossing during my game last night; I'll try to post them this evening. :-)

I got minis for the three extant black arrows on the Monday before I needed them. Then I get the HMM paper minis 2 DAYS LATER, just in time to use in our Saturday game. I had been planning and searching for minis for the Graul farmstead for over a year and had most of the minis ready to go, but I still used the paper minis about 50% of the time.
Thanks! And I'm glad to see you are hard at work on book 4!

I hope the HMM paper minis prove useful with your game. if you have time and can post pics, I would love to see any battles they're in.And yes, FotSG is coming along, I was working on some Stone Giants and a Hill Giant today.

Next session might be picture worthy. I'm using the FDG "Castle Winterhawk" 3-D cardstock castle to recreate the outer walls of Fort Rannik! I only wish I had the time and wherewithal to paint a model stream/moat and the two bridges, as well as the cliff walls and the keep itself. Half the group have smartphones, hopefully myself among them by then, so I'll try to get some taken most definately.
I've also been slowly making cardstock buildings to represent Sandpoint for the start of book 4, but man, some of those buildings are BIG, and the models.. not so much.

Wow, I don't think I've seen anyone put that much work into the terrain for a game! I can't wait to see these pics!

Somewhere on these boards someone posted pics of what they did for the start of book 4, where they used their wargaming club's huge table and recreated the entire town of Sandpoint with models. That has sorta been a goal of mine since I started this ap, and to that end I've been making every Fat Dragon Games' Dragonshire, Castle Winterhawk and Dave Graffam 3-D model I can get my hands on. I used to be into miniature wargaming ages ago, so I still have some 3-D resin bits lying around, but nowhere near THAT many good looking pieces. We play on a 4'X8' custom made gaming table, and I've been hauling 2-3 cardstock buildings to every session. Between those, the resin bits I still have, and my ambitions, I hope to do a poor man's copy of that epic tabletop feat.
I just hope it looks cooler than it does slapshod!

I have a decent amount of buildings as well from playing Mordheim but not enough to make the whole town. I'll be interested to see how you pull it off.
