Enrique is a Fiend Keeper medium, meaning he can't have Protection from Evil cast on him. Also, if there are no time constraints, he will occasionally hold seances to channel various spirits. If there are, he will probably hold seance for the Champion spirit in the beginning and stick with it.

Seems I missed the call up in the forums! Glad I checked the sign up sheet!
Name: Patrick
Character: Grubglub
Faction: Grand Lodge
Day Job: None
Normal track
Grubglub is a monk, specializing in trip and flurry. The only unusual thing is that I took the Grippli poison alternate racial trait. Any unarmed or natural attack against me or by me needs a DC 12 fort save.
I use a 9 section whip that has the Blocking, Distracting, and Trip qualities.
I also have a Snag Net: Trip, Entangle | Rng 10' | Escape DC 22
Grippli Poison: Skin or weapon—contact or injury; save Fort DC 10 + 1/2 the grippli's Hit Dice plus its Constitution modifier (DC 12 Fort); frequency 1/round for 6 rounds; effect 1d2 Dexterity damage; cure 1 save

lol. yea, I couldn't help it.. when I got the boon, all I could see is a younger Mr. Toad going around kicking butts! Although the idea of mixing "Lay on hands" and "Prehensile tongue" left me laughing for days :-) That ALMOST made it...
Iovarl Volarin

Hi all.
Updating the details for this guy now. He'll be good to go for the start.

Ok.. I have changed my avatar to make it easier. You would think that with Grippli being a boon character last year, that they would have more than one frog icon pic?!
Do you have a good necromancer? What the good doctor ordered.
Until Paizo's blatant half-elf supremacist views are ended you could try checking the search boxes for: boggard, reptilian, and reptilian spelled poorly.
Grubglub
|
Lmao.. no good necromancer over here.. it seems that Chris answered that pretty squarely and decisively there.
I searched a number of ways and found this pic under the reptilian section. I'm just really disappointed that the chrome add on only changes my view of the picture and has no bearing on the boards. Like really, what's the point then?

Gm: there is a paizo extension that you can add to Chrome that interfaces with the paizo websites. Give you a few different ways to order your aliases, *supposedly* gives you an option to edit your avatar pic, and a few other things that streamline the experience. I highly recommend it.. it really is beneficial and to be honest, this is the first letdown I have had from it yet (albeit a big one).

GM I have the worldly trait it's description reads as follows
Once per day when attempting a skill check for a skill you’re untrained in, you can roll twice and take the better result.
does this trait allow me to make a knowledge check even though I have no ranks in any knowledge skill? My roll is beneath the spoiler in the game play thread if the worldly trait does allow this .
Humbert Ardentask
|
Knowledge as a skill does have a potential limiter though.
Training You cannot make an untrained Knowledge check with a DC higher than 10.
So he could make the roll but might be limited to a max result of 10.
Makon Grimug
|
Yes Humbert the reason I asked is: I as a GM, would tend to rule what you suggested. The thought being is that the trait basically gives me a Bard's or Skald's ability once a day(with a chance to re-roll result!). However, since the adventure is only likely to take one day total.. and I've already used my 1/day ability..I don't foresee it being abusive. As always thank you for the clarification GM..

If you would like to know the status of our special as a whole, there is a tracker here. Other than the active/inactive markers, it self-updates every time the document is loaded, so the information is always current and accurate.
Reaching one of the milestones in an active row will trigger some sort of event for all the tables.

Activating my Inspired Rage. Any ally can accept its influence to gain these morale bonus: +2 to Str and Con, +1 to Will saves. If you do, you also take -1 to AC, can't cast spells and are limited in the skills you can use (just like a Barbarian). You can end this anytime you want before I end the song, and it will not make you fatigued.
Of course I'm affecting myself, so my current AC is 15. Max hp 12, fast healing activated
I believe the Inspired rage ability also allows Barbarians to use their own rage abilities (or bloodrage for Bloodrager class) without taking off rounds per day on their own ability. Here's the text from the PFSRD:If an ally has her own rage class ability (such as barbarian’s rage, bloodrager’s bloodrage, or skald’s inspired rage), she may use the Strength, Constitution, and Will saving throw bonuses, as well as AC penalties, based on her own ability and level instead of those from the skald (still suffering no fatigue afterward). However, inspired rage does not allow the ally to activate abilities dependent on other rage class abilities, such as rage powers, blood casting, or bloodrager bloodlines
So Makon in effect gets "free rage every time you activate Inspired rage Atronia!

Lucky barbarian/bloodrager!
I always seem to end up playing spellcasters when i'm around Skalds ;)
Atronia
|
Makon, that's great! I somehow thought some more of your abilities depended on your rage (in which case you'd have had to use your own), but I just went back and read the bloodrager abilities, and it doesn't seem like it. Well, that's good! Also, the only square I can reach next turn is where you're standing, so if you get a chance, a five-foot step next turn would be great.
By the way, everyone, I'm going away for the week-end. I should be able to log in from my phone, but I wanted you to know in case something happens. I should be back Sunday evening at the latest.
| GM Qwerty |
I have parental duties to attend to this weekend and while I wont be away from PBP all weekend I do know I will not be able to devote the required time for the special so GM Silbeg has graciously volunteered to kill you all while I am gone err... continue running you all through the paces. I shall return Monday evening EST.

When I'm on my computer, I can move objects on a slide. I just don't know how to move them from one slide to another...

When I'm on my computer, I can move objects on a slide. I just don't know how to move them from one slide to another...
Highlight the object you want to move then [Ctrl + 'x'] to cut or [Ctrl + 'c'] to copy it. Click on the slide you are trying to move it to and then [Ctrl + 'v'] to paste the item (or items) selected (and either cut or copied) onto the slide.
Atronia

Oh! So you're actually copy-pasting, not dragging them like you would a file into a folder! Thanks!
Makon Grimug
|
Actually Humbert's above average height and on the gangly side (like HP Lovecraft) or did you mean Iovarl who's like 4 points weaker strength-wise. ;)
Actually Makon is referring to Humbert.. I have Makon at 6' 2" 204lb so most people are small relative to him.

The Mirtgog tribe will most likely be a diplomacy check (gather info) although knowledge local might do the trick. The metal smiths I don't think any of us had weapons, armor, or blacksmithing as a craft skill...but perhaps one of the magic men could offer to detect magic on their old stock? Or appraise their wares?
The remaining tribe almost for sure needs a handle animal skill..do any of you have access to calm animals?....or some kind of charm magic that will work on them? Anyone know what a gorthek is?

Assuming we have more than an hour, I can let everyone share a seance of the Trickster spirit with me for the following boon:
Choose one skill when you gain this seance boon. You gain a +1 bonus on skill checks using that skill, and that skill counts as a class skill for you.

I'm a little disappointed in myself right there. I figured Atronia prefers telling stories of romanticized real events, so I went for a story of her latest adventure, but I really need to get back into creative writing and work on my skills, 'cause that felt more like a jumbled news report than an entertaining story. Not anything like what I figured I would do when I started. I hope y'all weren't too bored by my attempt, if you did take the time to read it.
Iovarl Volarin
|
I've played that twice (once in core), the first time we went the route you described so i remembered those parts as i was reading. I think you did a good job considering how much of adventures are combat related. Your story sounded wondrous and heroic with a tiny hint of being far fetched - which i think any good teller of tales would do. :)
Atronia
|
Thanks. ^_^ That helps lift my spirits a little.
Grubglub
|
That's actually a really good rendition! I recognized a number of things my own party fought through, and it was interesting to see your take on it. If the GM is accepting, I can loan you my faction pin reroll at +2 so that you can try and get a roll that matches your narrative!
Atronia
|
Is the faction pin actually something you can share?

Alas, dice do not always match in-game actions. Though I would note that the operative word in:
Borbus => Cleft Head -> looking for entertainment that isn't just violence
Might be 'just'. ;)
Atronia

I always roll so poorly on Atronia's skill checks. It's getting almost absurd. Sorry guys, I might have just made things even more difficult for us!
Grubglub

As far as I know, yes. However, that does come down to individual GM ruling.
| GM Qwerty |
My sincerest apologies to you players. I have become overwhelmed with RL and will not be able to devote the necessary focus on this special to ensure you all have a good time. Silberg has volunteered to be saddled with you all and run you through to completion (with a spear i believe he said). GM Silberg will be your GM UTC and will hopefully gain control over this thread to ensure fullest GM capabilities. Apologies.

So, I do ask that you take a moment to look over my profile on how I tend to run PbP, there are probably a few differences. However, I expect that we'll have a great time, as this really is a great scenario!
Expect things to look a little different starting with the next combat, as I do run things a little differently, but hopefully not badly!
Thanks!
Atronia
|
No worries Qwerty. Thank you for the part you did take us through, and good luck with all the real-life stuff.
As for Silbeg, thank you for taking over! I'll try to remember all those things on your profile about which rolls to make and which to leave to you, but please be lenient if I forget. :S
GM Silbeg
|
Damnit. Lost a post to the goblins
On Slide #2 I have added some setup stuff to help out running the game. If you could all take the time to set up your skill rolls so that I can just cut and paste when needed (you can do the same!)
@Atronia, I am actually pretty lenient on that... in fact, I tend to let things just happen more (the stuff is more guidelines than anything... in fact, other than initiatives and most saves, I tend to let the players just roll -- the stuff is there in case we have issues).
We're going to have a great time!
Iovarl Volarin

Sorry to hear that real life has got crazy for you GM Qwerty. Thank you for GMing for us and hopefully we'll meet again on the boards when things calm down for you.
GM Silbeg - welcome to full time trying to kill babysitting guiding us on our adventure. :)
Grubglub
|
Sorry to see you go, Qwerty.. but glad we can continue. Thank you, GM Silbeg for taking us over! I have read your profile, and have updated the second slide.
Atronia

GM, I've added my normal AC while raging in parentheses (so I don't forget to change it back later). As for touch and flat-footed, I've adjusted them directly since I had no room for more parentheses.
