Wilm Tsalion |
Ce la vie, Wilm would have liked to make a glorious charge too.
Wilm bellows a challenge and guides Max into the fray, dodging around Kelsier he engages the druid that Sam burnt.
For the glory of the Flame, the society and h-halflings everywhere!
The hope of release from the curse brings a bit of his cheer back to the fore.

Graxzos Glyphkeeper |
"Rrrrrrrr growow yow! Snrl grrrrr..." Graxzos advances, snarling bestially, and fires at the nearest druid! In his rage, though, the shot probably goes wide.
Attack vs. Touch: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10
Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 2
Move and fire at the blue druid!

Mini-update, but then I'm going to be unable to post for most of the day.
Wilm misses with his ax, but Max is able to put the badly burned druid out of his misery.
Graxzos rushes in and fires recklessly, but the shot hits (vs. flat-footed touch) causing a small, but noticable wound in the blue druid.
Wilm, Beromir and Graxzos is UP!
Then Druids (Blue 2)
Then Waki, Kelsier and Sam
Signboy77 |
Beromir's greataxe does it's job and seriously wounds the blue cultist, but he stays standing.
The two remaining druids both begin to suddenly grow, becoming larger. They then attack their closest foes.
Blue vs. Beromir: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
Black vs. Sam: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16
Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
The blue druid's efforts are futile, but the other one connects and hits Sam on the noggin.
Waki, Kelsier and Sam are UP
Then Round 2
Wilm, Beromir and Graxzos.
Waki Huro |
Waki will move up and strike the closest druid silently.
cold iron Rapier: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21

Kelsier Palance |
Kelsier charges the Druid, sword raised high, but his climactic swing catches on a branch and goes wide.

Sam Drakenfel |

Wilm Tsalion |
Relief plays across Wilm's face as Max bites and savages the druid.
Come on, w-we can do it! Forward Max.
Wilm urges Max forward and into the fray with the druid.

Sam magically stays safe from the druid's attack. (Sorry, forgot about shield) He tries to claw and bite the injured blue druid, but to no avail.
However, Wilm rides in on Max, and with a single swing of his ax, is able to kill the druid outright, leaving only the blue druid standing.
Beromir and Graxzos are up.
Blue druid is injured for 10 hp.
I'm going to be out today as well - day trip with the family. You guys pretty much have this in the bag, so you can expect chronicles sometime tomorrow.
Kelsier Palance |
sweet. I'm hoping to have Kelsier available for a roll20 game tomorrow evening.

Beromir |
"You'd better surrender" Beromir says to the remaining druid. He waits a bit and, if the giant foe continues fighting, he side steps and slashes at him with his axe.
Mwk greataxe/blue druid: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
Damage: 1d12 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
Signboy77 |
nothing from Graxzos...I'll bot him.
Beromir's swing just barely misses the Druid. Graxzos loads and fires.
Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22
Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 1
The shot hits, though it's mostly a graze. However, it's enough to kill the Druid.
With the Druids dead, the energy surrounding the atavistic splinter dissipates. You are able to handle it safely to return it to the Venture Captain.
I don't have the chronicles saved on this computer. Will load them tonight. Sorry for delays.
Waki Huro |
Nice job and good group. So the curse is lifted, do all tainted people regain their mental faculties? Or were some too far gone? .
"Done well have we. Honored I am to serve with you each. Worried not stop the curse was I ."
Wilm Tsalion |
thanks Signboy and all!
Wilm shudders and shakes as the effects of the curse melt away.
I can feel i-it, shifting leaving me....
During the journey home Wilm's mood slowly lifts, his halfling optimism seeing him bounce back from the shock and drawn to the deeds of daring, fame and glory!
By the time they arrive at their destination his companions would be forgiven if they failed to recognise much of what actually happened compared with the young halflings tale - dwarven cannons booming forth, dozens of evil druids felled by the fire of a misfit sorcerer and the swinging of a giant with hefty axe. The mysterious movements of a strange shadow clad warrior, the distance defying cast of a javelin impaling a man at 100 yards and of course riding through it all a plucky halfling felling foes and saving the common folk... the companions may part confident that they will go down in history (of a sorts)

I figured since they were both loans, you could just subtract the purchases from your chronicle, and theirs would be unaffected. Also, feel free to use a pdf editor to put in your full information on your chronicles, or print out and fill in by hand. I'll keep the the thread active for a few more days to give everyone a chance to access their sheets. The session has been reported, thanks again everyone.
Beromir |
Beromir returns to the Grand Lodge of Absalom, satisfied to have helped clear the Verduran Forest, where he has grown up, of a cabal of evil druid and recover the Atavistic Splinter for the Society.
Thanks for the game!
Graxzos Glyphkeeper |
Thanks for pushing through without me--got very busy!
Graxzos remains more or less feral for the first day or two after the druids' defeat, but once they've left the forest he begins to return to his usual, boisterously gruff self. "Ugh! Glad to see th' backs o' those trees!" he says with a shudder. "I don' feel too good about being surrounded by wood 'n water, I can tell ya that! Hahaha!"
Thanks for the game, SignBoy!
