The addition of Periel's attack proves to be too much for the mastermind of this place. The Archivist’s body fades away, and a simple wooden door appears at the edge of the void. The door opens with a touch and offers a view of the seance circle back in the material world. As the adventurers steps through the circle, they find themselves opening their eyes in the position that they left their world: sitting in the seance circle, hands still clasped in the ritual circle around Wulessa Yuul. After a moment she opens her eyes as well.

"I must apologize." Wulessa stammers as she returns the scroll to the chest. "That was an awful error in judgment. I am very thankful for your services. Without your aid I fear I would have been lost to it forever. Further study of the Monadistic Archive is in order, but clearly more research is needed into proper safeguards."

Dreams of the Archive haunt you for the next few weeks, but as time passes you realize that you have developed a sort of control over your subconscious mind. Under the right conditions you can retreat into your own personal mindscape, which may give you a unique way to fight off hostile mind-effecting magic.

END OF SCENARIO! Congrats on BLOWING through this one. Had I not disappeared for a week I think we may have set the world record on a scenario completion. I have a nice little surprise for you. Kensaku comes out of the séance smiling, and replies to the Venture Captain, Not to worry, Venture Captain. We all came out on the other side intact, and learned a small bit about the archive in the process. I would call this a good end to a very interesting day.
