Naiomi is clearly unfocused during this fight, so much so that she completely leaves herself open to a flanking attack which she soon realizes as she feels a piercing crushing along her chest. She shrieks before retaliating towards Purple with another flurry of strikes.

Yukine strikes the purple knight with a vicious blow, but Sajan and Paiomi both miss their attacks. Naiomi successfully lands the first of her three strikes, but the second and third come up short. Those two attacks are enough to send the knight sprawling to the ground however.
Also on the ground bleeding is the brawler Troyst who has done an excellent job staining the ground red and crimson.
With all of his companions on the ground the last knight grows desperate and develops an idea to even the odds. Raising his axe high in the air he shouts, "For Rovagug!!!". He charges away from Naiomi towards his sister, Paiomi as he summons dark powers from his god. He turns his back on Naiomi which opens him up to an attack, but decides the option was worth it as he embeds his axe into his sisters chest. 11 damage.

Everyone misses their strikes on the last knight except Naiomi's strike. The knight moves up to paiomi and slashes her with his war axe again 7 damage. After that he shouts up the shaft, "PULL IT NOW HERAX!"
Grinding sounds from up above give way to an explosion that sends the cart and rubble tumbling down the shaft on 14 damage.

With Troyst stable she focuses on the last enemy. Moving over she does another strong attack against the knight.

Naiomi satisfied with her strike to the bad guy, she is too easily distracted by both the shouting, the explosion, the sounds of a rolling of the cart, and finally it crashing into her.
As she lay crushed between the cart and the lower wall, she ponders how she got into this situation, and noticed all the water all over the walls of this cave before yelling out [b]"Paiomi! Help!"[/p]
Her sister comes to her aid by first cleaning all the debris, by again dousing Naiomi with more water...
After some vulgar communication, Naiomi stands, and Yukine helps clear her wounds using her wand.

Sajan rejoins the group after what felt like a long battle and sits next to the sisters. Looking into his bag, he pulls out a potion of cure light wounds and drinks it slowly.

Searching the knights you find the following gear x4: potion of endure elements, mwk scale mail, mwk light steel shield, mwk dwarven waraxe, mwk throwing axe, antitoxin
Moving back into the cultist's living area and campsite area, you see that most of the area is covered in shaggy brown filaments. Among the clutter is a locked iron case.
This is brown mold, which can be hazardous if you sustain contain with it.

While Paiomi tends to the wounds of her brother, Naiomi shakes her head before approaching the locked iron case.
"Hrm. this looks peculiar, but i don't really know enough about it to make sense of it. I guess whats the worst that could happen right? Lets open it!"
And with that she gets to it. First she inspects the case for traps

As Naiomi moves towards the chest the air temperature suddenly seems to drop the further south she goes. Naiomi cracks open the chest and finds more goodies! After only a cursory examination she quickly grabs the six potions of endure elements and 384 gp from inside, but not before the cold air has a taken a toll on her body. Naiomi suffers 12 points of nonlethal cold damage.

Troyst looks around at the others, nodding his thanks to each of them for not letting him die. He examines his wounds as he tries to stand. Looking over to see Naiomi and Yukine with wands, he asks, "any chance one of you might help me out a little bit more? I'm in pretty rough shape. I feel like if I tripped on a rock, the fall might finish me off."

Naiomi notices the potions and the current crazy cold temperature. It does not take long for her to put two and two together as she quickly chugs one of the potions while uncontrollably shivering. damage applied
She then rushes back to the rest of the group and explains the situation.
Seeing troyst still needing help, she offers up her wand, and allows Yukine to use it for her.

Paiomi takes two potions from Naiomi, "Thanks sis!" and quickly hops to Sajan and gives him a potion with a coy look. "Here you go...." she blushes.
"Is it cold up ahead or something?" she asks while Yukine heals Troyst and Naiomi.

Naiomi notes that the area is covered in brown stuff, but she has no idea what that brown stuff is. But it does appear to be cold near the brown stuff.
Taking a second look inside of the chest she discovers a false bottom that she missed the first time around. She finds two scrolls of delay poison and one scroll of freedom of movement. She also notices that if she had tried to force open the chest it would have destroyed all of the contents save the coins within.
Other than the brown stuff and the now empty chest, the only other way to explore is the trail to the south west.

Naiomi informs her crew of the "brown stuff". "Maybe someone with some magic skills can check this out and tell us a little more about it? APart from that ill scout ahead. Everyone follow this trail. Also its cold - so I recommend drinking your potions of endure elements!"
Naiomi leads the party looking for traps with meat shield Yukine right behind her, followed by Sajan, Troyst, and Paiomi taking up the rear. Paiomi shouts out "Look! Is a double decker hasegawa sandwich!"

Everyone make a perception check at the start of your turn.
Naiomi travels down the western tunnel that feels like it gradually descends over the course of five hundred feet. Because the passageway is tight and branches into several smaller passageways this trip takes you about five minutes. The passageway descends into complete darkness and Naiomi breaks out her wayfinder to guide her through the dark cavern.
After a short ways a turn, she sees greenish filaments crisscrossing the flooded chamber below. Pools of murky water release strange, foul smelling fumes. Large boulders protrude from the water, many covered in profane markings and bloodstains. As you continue down into the chamber the air becomes incredibly hot, exceeding over 140 degrees Fahrenheit.
Naiomi also spots a man wearing a breastplate over red robes. His breastplate is emblazoned with a beetle-like symbol: the symbol of the destructive god Rovagug. His face is severely scarred, clawed away in an act of self-mutilation as proof of his devotion to Rovagug. He holds a greataxe and turns as you enter. "Fools," he mutters as he shakes his head. Before the man is one large web that extends just over the top of the waters surface.
Anyone in or adjacent to the water must make a DC10 Fort save or become sickened. The rocks that jut from the water are slippery and wet and require a climb check to traverse.
As Naiomi comes to a stop near the waters edge, noxious fumes overcome her. Make a fort check as above.
Remember light and vision rules. Only Naiomi has light with her wayfinder.

Not deterred, Naiomi carries on the way she was going, approaching one of the rocks at the edge of the water, she takes cover there and waits for the rest of her allies to catch up.

As they move through the tunnel, Troyst welcomes the light emanating from Naiomi's wayfinder. As she moves closer to her sister, he pulls his own out to light his way.
As he turns the last corner, he sees a man with a breastplate waving his hands. He curses to himself as he watches from the safety of the corner. He begins to point at the movement in the water when Yukine speaks up.
Finally taking a close look at the water itself, he feels mouth fill with bile and is sick.
