Unfortunately, the Poison renders you unconscious, not asleep. The only way to come around is have it removed.

Whiskers lashes out at the Drow but only lands with a single claw. Iso likewise strikes but the Axe goes wide of its mark in the pervading darkness. Kelson puts his hand on the Gnome's shoulder and tries to wake him but is unable to do so, though he does close some of the Gnome's wounds.

With a harsh laugh, the Drow raises her Unholy symbol and chants a single word, bathing you in horrid red light. As she does so, the Demon behind Iso and Antonella starts to howl in rage...

Jorah had Daylight cast before the Deeper Darkness. Since they are the same spell level, they essentially cancel each other out and the prevailing light level returns. When dealing with light sources, only the highest level is taken into consideration. IE, a sunrod has no effect in an area of Daylight, they do not stack. So the Deeper Darkness negates all light effects of spell level 3 or lower, while Daylight cancels all darkness effects of spell level 3 or lower. Also, since sunrods are considered non-magical sources, they never have any effect in darkness created by magic. Light levels are a confusing set of rules.

See HERE for more clarification.

The rapidly weakening Iso is kept on his feet only by the rage he feels for the demon in front of him!

Wembly and Whiskers cringe as the unholy energy blasts towards them...

But they are spared the ill effects again.

Fort – LG vs DC 15: 1d20 + 15 - 2 ⇒ (4) + 15 - 2 = 17

Burning my Jiraku’s Respect boon, GM Sethran. Full details are in Antonella’s profile.

The priestess feels a simmering rage with herself that she didn’t think of using a gift from a grateful outsider earlier.

Supressing that emotion as she has practised through countless hours of meditation, she steps back 5' and utters two simple words:

“Altius Tenebris.”

Thassilonian:
“Deeper Darkness.”

✨Casting a targeted dispel magic on the deeper darkness effect.

targeted dispel magic vs DC 3 + drow cleric’s Wis modifier: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26

dispel magic pertinent info for GM Sethran :

Spell Resistance no

You can also use a targeted dispel to specifically end one spell affecting the target or one spell affecting an area (such as a wall of fire).

You must name the specific spell effect to be targeted in this way.

If your caster level check is equal to or higher than the DC of that spell, it ends.

If the darkness is cancelled and Jorah's daylight spell takes over, the paladin will call down a swift smite on the drow cleric.

Antonella brings forth her connections to the creatures of the various planes and directs it towards the grappled Priestess. There is an ominous tension in the air as Planar energies wrestle with Inner strength. With a faint pop, Planar energies succeed and suddenly the cavern is bathed in powerful light, strong enough to sting the eyes.

The drow fighting Jorah blinks fiercely against the sudden blinding light as he tries to strike the Desnan. But he misses blindly. The Demon on the ground remains oblivious.

Desna's divine will aids Jorah in resisting the unholy energy, though some of it still burns his soul.

@ GM: Is the raider next to me now or still in the mist?

Not sure what happened there, Map didn't update, changed it now. He is next to you but still at the edge of the mist.

With a frustrated roar, Iso does just that removing the Demon's head with a swift blow. The body erupts in burnt flesh and ichor.

You might not want to do that during combat... Iso must attempt saves vs all spells, including haste, cure etc, while raging. I'll hold off making the save incase you change you mind about the action. Outside of rage, Iso will be very appreciative of the healing!
