PFS Pregen #1 - ShieldBug |
I haven't got enough time to post today, but I just wanted to say thanks for the sheet. Also... Woop woop! I'm so glad we finally get to move onto the second module. :)
Lickwound, Chuffy |
Just verifying, we only earned 1 prestige? What was the secondary prestige condition? I'm curious! Might also give a little insight into what is expected of us moving forward.
GM RePete |
From the module recording rules...
Getting Credit
All players who play the entire module receive the attached Chronicle sheet which may be applied to any 1st- or 2nd-level PC as if that character had played the module. A GM who runs a module may likewise apply credit to any one of her Pathfinder Society PCs of 1st or 2nd level. The decision of which character to apply credit to must be made when the Chronicle sheet is received and signed by the GM. Because We Be Goblins! is shorter than most Pathfinder Modules, playing the adventure from beginning to end earns a player 1 XP and 1 PA. The GM likewise earns 1 XP and 1 PA for running the entire module. Players do not make day job rolls when playing a Pathfinder-Society-sanctioned module. As always, each player may receive credit for each module once as a player and once as a GM in either order.
Emphasis mine. You guys didn't do anything wrong, just the We Be Goblins trilogy (for the most part) only gives 1 PP and 1 xp per mod.
I've been looking on the forums to confirm they haven't changed this and I'm not finding anything. If anyone finds it, please don't hesitate to point me in the right direction.
Edit: Question...
The title above lists this as "We Be Goblin Series". Were you guys wanting to do We B4 Goblins as well? If so what order do you wish to plug that one in to? I haven't read it yet, but I believe it's a prequel to We Be Goblins! (and is for level 1-2 characters)
Lickwound, Chuffy |
Oh ok! Thanks for letting us know!
IIRC, we were going to do B4 Goblins last. While it may be the prequel, we were informed that there were several references/easter eggs/whatever that had more value if you had played the other ones first.

Sorry for the delay in posting - I've had family visits for the past week - life should be returning to a more normal pace tomorrow.
Big-Bad Reta |
Just want to pop in to let you know that I'm here. This was my birthday weekend, and I like to celebrate, so I haven't been around to post.
Downloading the Chronicle now; I'll process that and get Reta updated shortly. Should have a new post up before then end of the day.
Mogmurch Z. |
Looking forward to playing the next part. It will probably be a day or two before I've got my info online though - playing catch-up after a week of family visits.
GM RePete |
No worries Mogmurch.
I'll probably go ahead and make the next post tomorrow, but we won't leave you behind.
GM RePete |
Yeppers. Working on a post now.
Sorry for my absence this past weekend, got hit with a freak snow storm in the middle of March.
Big-Bad Reta |
Ahhh yes, I'm in a bunch of food/cooking groups on facebook, and people have been posting "snow day" cooking projects all weekend. :)
PFS Pregen #1 - ShieldBug |
How would people feel if I tried channelling a little negative energy right now? I had considered doing it before, but thought it might end the challenge too quickly, plus it'll catch y'all in the cross fire. Poog might not care about that, but I do. :)
PFS Pregen #1 - ShieldBug |
Righto, Reta. Mogmurch is the only one who'll escape getting hurt, so I'll keep with the sword for now. Maybe now the stirge is full on Poog blood, it'll make it slow. :)
Lickwound, Chuffy |
Just a heads up, I will be out of the country from this Saturday to next Saturday. I should have internet access, but there is always the chance that I won't, so bot me as needed!
Mogmurch Z. |
Posting likely sparse for the next few days with work, travel, family - will catch up when I can - please bot as needed.
GM RePete |
Thanks for the heads up Mogmurch.
Regarding your question in gameplay: The ones listed as "down" are out of combat. In terms of the moot, they are considered dead by your score keepers and applied to a competitor already.
Big-Bad Reta |
Sorry, had a migraine yesterday and couldn't post. I'm posting this message in all of my games and circling back around to catch up. Give me up to a couple of hours to catch up; thanks!
GM RePete |
Just a heads up, I have been sick last few days and unable to post.
Will be getting one up today during work. (Hopefully this morning)
GM RePete |
Wiped. At a con this weekend. Will be making a post Sunday afternoon/evening.
@Mogmurch - By some act of god...or perhaps something else...the pig still stands. Feel free to try and change that.
PFS Pregen #1 - ShieldBug |
No worries! I'm just as happy making posts of Poog waiting around as I am with making him set things on fire, so long as the rest of the game is moving forward somehow. :)
GM RePete |
Just a heads up, called in for a fun and exciting extra 18hr shift.
Will be getting a post up in a bit, as time allows. Right now ambulance call volume is a tad elevated.
GM RePete |
Post incoming tonight. My ISP has been having issues this week, but it seems to be fixed now.
Have been spending most of my week in meetings at work, so haven't been able to post much while there.
Lickwound, Chuffy |
"You have 5 stilts/poles that hold the residence off the ground. There are two ramps that lead up to doors. The two-story building and it's hut perched on top are almost entirely wooden with straw roofing." Quote GM RePete
What sources of fire is everyone holding onto right now (items, spells, etc)? I have one of the gourds and that is the only source of fire I have.
GM, how hard would it be to break the silts? Could any be broken with some level of discretion? I think our issue is that whoever is in the house will immediately begin exiting the building once it lights up. Do we have any way of blocking the exit, besides Reta's fat head ;) ?
PFS Pregen #1 - ShieldBug |
Oh, I'm spoilt for choice with fire. I already used burning hands, but I still have a wand of fireball, fire bolts from my hands, the gourd, torches, and flint and tinder. :)
he can see beneath the large house, an open area has been filled with straw, branches, and underbrush. Something....something big has turned this into a nest. High above the area, he can just make out a trapdoor set in the ceiling.
That seems a good place to start a fire! Things running out would be quite worrying though. What if we tried taking away the ramps?
GM RePete |
I would have to say destroying a stilt would draw some attention from any within the structure.
Taking away a ramp would also draw attention. They appear to be attached to the house, so you'd have to plan their demise.
Not saying don't destroy a ramp or the stilts or whatnot. Just keep in mind when you start your destructive desires, you'll want to make sure everyone is ready and knows their task.
Didn't someone take the necklace of fireballs (type 1) from the goblin chest?
GM RePete |
Forgot about the glue. Yeah, you could certainly try that. I would suggest using a sneaky goblin to get that close to the door.
Lickwound, Chuffy |
I can glue it shut then :D
So let's start making a more definitive plan.
Chuffy: When we are ready, I will drink my potion, scout the house, then glue the door shut. Time permitting, I'll drink from my gourd and start lighting stuff up.
Mogmurch: ?
Reta: ?
Poogy: ?
Big-Bad Reta |
Reta, with the flaming dogslicer, is probably best simply attacking one of the stilts, trying to hack through as she sets it aflame.
She also has flaming arrows; she could fire those into the nest underneath.
PFS Pregen #1 - ShieldBug |
Glue! That's brilliant. :)
Chuffy: When we are ready, I will drink my potion, scout the house, then glue the door shut. Time permitting, I'll drink from my gourd and start lighting stuff up.
Mogmurch: ?
Reta: Stilt breaker and ranged fire support. :)
Poogy: Firestarter. Once the doors are glued shut, I will use my wand of fireball to set the straw hut on fire. Then I'll pull out some torches, swallow a gourd, and run towards the nest under the house, breathing glorious fire at anything flammable.
GM RePete |
1 person marked this as a favorite. |
Not trying to rush you. Seems you are getting your plan setup.
Just posting so you know I haven't gone AWAL. ;-) Heads up, I work Thurs/Fri and with things currently happening at work, I likely won't be able to post much during work hours.
Once you're all ready, we'll demolish this house. lol.
Big-Bad Reta |
This is an early warning that I'll be away for Memorial Day weekend. I start traveling early Thursday AM and won't return until Monday PM. I will make sure that I have an updated "Bot Me" spoiler in my profile before I leave for the vacation, and I'll post again here Wed PM as a reminder.
GM RePete |
Sorry for my delay. Been a couple really long days with work bs.
Will get a post up tomorrow.
Big-Bad Reta |
Hi team; got back later than expected yesterday and off to a slower start than planned for today. I will try to catch up on as many games tonight as I can, but won't truly be back to regular posting until Wed. Thanks for your patience!
GM RePete |
I have to go to a work conference for 2 days out of state. Leaving in a couple hours.
I will be back friday, but may not have the opportunity to post during Wed and Thurs. Sorry for the inconvenience.
GM RePete |
I have returned.
Though my brain is fried, I'm working on getting caught up on my games at this time. Should have a post for you all shortly.
I apologize for the inconvenience.
GM RePete |
You have successfull survived We Be Goblins Too.
I should have chronicles up for you in a day or two and then we'll see about part three, assuming you are still wanting to continue.
