I'm afraid not. Waking Shevan would be your action.
Sasha's about to make a five-foot step and give our sleeping Paladin a swift kick while she searches for her rapier.
Shevan will wake up normally from his poisoned sleep on Turn 15, anyway. (Turns go down to match your Fortitude checks as the Rounds go up.)

Phillip, I'm re-reading over PE:UP, and I'm wondering where you're getting your AC from. Your character profile says your AC is 17, but you're not wearing any kind of mundane armor. Your Aegis has three Astral Suit types: Astral Skin, Astral Armor, and Astral Juggernaut.
You chose Astral Skin when you woke up on the beach. Astral Skin has no armor bonus, it has the customizations instead. Astral Armor would be masterwork chainmail for +6 AC, and Astral Juggernaut would be masterwork half-plate for +8 AC. But don't forget the penalties to Dex, Armor Checks, Weight, and Speed to those.
Astral Armor and Astral Juggernaut appear to allow customizations, but here's where using up your Customization Points cost you: you can only use Customization Points once per 8 hours. Furthermore, on p.4, the book says you must be "8 hours of concentration" to change your pre-set customizations on an Astral Skin/Armor/Juggernaut, or else spend a full minute of concentration when you form the Astral Suit with "free" points.
This is not much more difficult than a Cleric with Domains having to choose your Domain spell and Cleric spells every day. I can help you by saying "8 hours of customization" is "8 hours of rest, followed by 1 minute of customization" so Phillip isn't staring off into space for 8 hours, ignoring everybody else.
Just realize that the Astral Skin has no AC bonus, while the Astral Armor and Astral Juggernaut do, but changes your free customizations as well. I'll let the AC 17 slide for this first battle, but you might want to type out your 3 Astral Suits and their customizations on your character profile, so you can easily reference them. You can then change them once a day (technically once every 8 hours, 3 times a day), and just say so in your initial "I'm forming an Astral _____ around me." speech.
"Psionic Attacks" technically make your melee attacks /magic, not just masterwork (+1 to attack).
You also get Special Abilities to your Astral Suit at later levels, like Damage Reduction, Augment Suit, etc. You should put those on your character profile as well, to remind yourself when the time comes.

Noel, if you are wondering, you and Tessara wake up on your own this turn.
Phillip, that's why I'm trying to help keep track of the temporary effects with my top-of-turn summary. Everyone is +2 atk/+1 dam right now, it counters the sickened effect a little.
It looks like Shevan and Ishiro both get to move and attack next turn.
Sasha took quite a beating from two scorpions.
Varash is down and the clock is ticking.
Phillip has an AOO, will he get his revenge?
It's only been 18 seconds since Aeyrs woke up. Recalling my college experiences from the students' mornings after on Fridays, she's gonna be at the surf's edge a while.
Ashana, I'm sorry you're still on the ship, it's important! Don't leave!
Ashana Blacktail |
With the battle on the beach seemingly finished does that mean I can finally do something other than just lay unconscious?
GM_Pace |
Ashana, thank you for being so patient. If the rest of the gang posts quickly, you could be in the group by Monday. Yes I've got a "plot train", but you'll still have total freedom once you wake up.
Now if I could just get Noel to post on a consistent basis, I really don't want to lose her.

ATTENTION PLAYERS
Right now we haven't heard from Noel for over a week and Shevan just said he won't be posting for a while. I don't want you to leave the game! Souls for Smuggler's Shiv is very low-key in that, as you might guess, there are a lot of NPCs. These NPCs weren't meant to "fill in" for missing PCs, they're meant for you to have a base camp to go back to.
So! Anyone that needs a week off, tell me here on the Discussion page and I'll just make your character "inactive" at the base camp. Then you don't have to leave the game. The Shiv might take us several weeks of gaming to get through, so don't let a momentary Real Life problem bar you from the game.
Noel, if you don't come back soon, I'll have to DMPC your character to waking up and staying behind.
Shevan, you can keep your character behind for now. If I need to, I'll just move you with the NPCs.
This agreeable to everyone?

Adriano, your posting of a "-1" to your Climb check puzzled me, so I looked at your character page. You have "Acrobatics -2, Climb -3, Escape Artist -2, Fly -2". Your STR is 10. How the heck are you getting a Climb of -3? Negatives are virtually impossible in skill checks unless you have a stat minus as well. Your STR is a +0, not a -2 or -3.
On Fly, the SRD says "You cannot take ranks in this skill without a natural means of flight or gliding." I don't see "glider" on your Equipment list.
So it looks like you used an automated program to do your stats and skills and that's fine, but it put a lot of errors on your character sheet. I don't want to penalize you for something that's impossible. So I'll take your Climb as +0, not -3, assuming you put no ranks into it.
See if you can correct your character profile so you're not penalized by that automated program.

Mind-affecting spells have no affect on Vermin, unless I'm mistaken. I believe it's part of the vermin traits.
Edit: Link'd

Phillip has it correct. It's actually listed in the book "Immune mind-affecting effects".
And these have been the small eurypterids. Wait until you see what comes next time!
Waiting on Ashana to meet with Phillip, and then maybe we can explore the rest of the ship.
Noel & Shevan, you can come in any time you like, just narrate walking to Varash's location.
