Unsure of whether or not storming in is the right solution, Edmund considers other options.

I am assuming that Kissan did not come with, since its fairly hard to disguise a medium sized black jaguar... Which is a shame. She is a great fighter.

"Before we do it this way, might I remind ya's that we already have guards showing up unannounced. The more violence against this... regime... the more violence will be returned. Will this small victory make the larger goal harder than it already is?"

"Mind you, I ain't got another option- I'm just thinking, is all. If you guys are set on it, I'll find a cozy place and use my bow."

Will case "Shield of Faith" right before combat. New AC 19

GM, is today a new day from when we fought the tooth fairies? Trying to figure out how much rage I have left. And what are the rules of trudging through the watery area? Is it deep that swim is required? Red's action would most likely be to cut through the water to get to the dog house, but he doesn't have swim speed currently.

Red eyes the water and plans his advances.

Sorry for the delay. I was at a wedding yesterday and when I finally had time to post I wasn't in a condition to post. If it comes up again in the future, Edmund's speed is actually 40 from the travel domain

Knowledge Checks

New condition: Wedding'ed- The creature is unable to post normally. A wedding'ed creature can make no posts, but may continue to make Cha-based checks normally. After 8 hours of complete rest, fatigued characters are no longer wedding'ed.

SK2 delays, waiting to see if Edmund's much quieter bow can finish the dog (a blow from his firearm would alert all guards in a one mile radius!)

Andor pokes the incoming mastiff with his rapier. The large dog replies with a bite attempt: 1d20 ⇒ 4 [miss: Andor easily parries and then ripostes with an accurate strike to the dog's flank; the dog falls in the pond, bleeding out.]

Roldala moves on the island and decimates brown; Red destroys yellow; Edmun nearly impale his incoming dog but the canine is still up, but retreats, whining. His master (black token) sees the situation and leaves, dog in tow.

Any way that those with 40 ft speed still get him? Andor will immediately check on the imprisoned. Are they in any condition to walk or do we have to carry them?

Heal : 1d20 ⇒ 18

Knowledge Checks

The prisoner is pretty banged up. If the whole party focuses on breaking out the prisoner, providing minor food/water/healing, throwing a deep hooded cloak for minor disguise, and bringing him back to Laria's or his home, I'll call it a win. If some of you go running in the park after the lone overzealous militia member, I'll have to do some rolls.

Move 40ft, and fire a shot if able. Range increment is 110 and he will take a shot if the guard is in the first 3 range increments. However, he wont pursue on foot

The wedding was a lot of fun. It took a little more than 8 hours, but I did manage to shake the Wedding'd condition

Edmund spends some time around the Long Road, attempting to get to know the patrons and facilities better.

Seems a jaguar will always look like a jaguar. I suppose I could take her armor off, but even still I'm thinking she'd draw at least some attention."

He glances over at the cat who is currently stretched out, asleep in front of a fire.

"Don't let her fool ya. She'll complain about not being outside, or being stuck around humans... but I think she loves the 'niceties' more than she is willing to admit."

On cue, the jaguar lifts her head and looks at Edmund- giving him an annoyed huff, before returning her focus back to the fire.

-----

As the focus shifts to deities, Edmund closes his eyes and a bright burst of purple moths overwhelms his vision... as it always does when he reflects on Desna. Unconsciously his hand goes to one of the starknife's on his side. It takes a moment for his vision to clear before he responds.

"I figure it's her leading that brought me here. Longest I have been in one place for quiet a bit a time. She's the constant itch to keep moving. To keep explore'n. Figure I have spent most of my life drifting place to place, and everywhere I appear there seems to be someones who need freeing. Here ain't no different. "

Edmund chuckles to himself at his party responses to the deities.

I remember when I believed as they do. And then I met her... HIs vision flashes purple again at the memory, but quickly recovers.
"I did not choose Desna, rather- she chose me. What choice do you have against a God?"

"Desna does have a but of a reputation for fighting..." he laughs. "But only against darkness and imprisonment. She's picked a fight or two in her history and I am sure more will come soon, as long as places like Cheliax continue to exist. Perhaps, Red, you might find welcome amongst the followers of Cayden Cailean? His places of worship are more tavern than temple."

And what freedoms she has granted me!

Knowledge Checks

Clenchjaw tells Andor to feel free to drop by and introduce himself to the rebellious crowd at his bar. He warns that the place is no doubt watched by the dottari or perhaps even secret agents of Thrune at this point though. He also adds that 'Roldala already met some of the most stout Milanites' a few weeks back when you worked there.

*-------------------*

As you rest at Laria's and help Rexus in the next few days, you all manage to help Rexus finalize his notes on the Silver Ravens documents:

[i]• The Silver Ravens were established in 4606 ar in
the wake of the chaos that swept over Cheliax after
Aroden’s death to help protect the city of Kintargo
from oppression.
• The woman who founded the Silver Ravens was a
mysterious elf known only as “Jackdaw,” a figure who,
before the advent of the Age of Lost Omens, built
herself into a sort of Kintargan folk hero who fought
for the rights of the city’s downtrodden.
• Many of the Silver Ravens were adventurers or
worshipers of Milani. Jackdaw, a swashbuckler, was
the most powerful and influential of them all, but
others who rose to particular prominence among
the Silver Ravens were Amyreid (a female half-elf
cleric of Milani), Ba (a male halfling enchanter), Kyda
(a female human rogue/bard), and Brakisi (a male
human urban ranger).
The Silver Ravens defended Kintargo from being
conquered no fewer than a dozen times during the
Chelish Civil War: five times from power-hungry noble
families, four times from agents of Thrune, once from
an invasion of skum from the sea, once from a cabal
of Nidalese vampires, and once from a blue dragon
named Rivozair.
• The Silver Ravens maintained their main headquarters
in and below the Kintargo Opera House; unfortunately,
no information in the documents indicates any other
safe houses the group may have maintained.
• The Silver Ravens were said to be able to use something
called the “Song of Silver” to defend Kintargo when
it was attacked by enemies, but sadly, no additional
information as to what this mysterious song was can
be found in these notes. Rexus implores you all to
keep an eye out for further clues as to this intriguing
notation.
• The last section translated speaks of how the leaders
of the Silver Ravens had seen the proverbial writing
on the wall—they knew House Thrune was likely to
seize control, and had come to the difficult decision
to surrender should this event come to pass, hoping
to prevent Thrune from razing Kintargo. Indications
exist that the cache of treasure and documents hidden
in the Fair Fortune were intended to serve as a sort of
time capsule, should Kintargo forget the Silver Ravens
with the passage of time.

Development: Perhaps the most important resources
to be gained from translating the documents are
pages upon pages of information about tactics for
defending Kintargo. Once the translation is complete,
the information found within grants the rebellion a
definite advantage going forward.

Andor is very excited about the findings and immediately wants to arrange a meeting with the whole team as well as Laria, Clenchjaw and Rexus!

”Rexus, I cannot believe what kind of information you have uncovered! Clenchjaw and Laria ... the team has studied these documents and this is going to help us so much when we prepare our network of supporters in the city!“

Andor is very excited during the discussion and wants to know what Laria, Clenchjaw and Rexus think.

”Especially, the tactics that Rexus revealed are super valuable! Can I assume that you all will use these details to brief all the supporters that we have gained so far and that you will also help us to leverage these insights for our rebellion!?“ Andor asks.

Andor takes a lot of time together with Red to inform him about the different dieties in this world! After some time she says:

”To be honest I believe that Gorum would fit well to you. He is a god of battle above all other pursuits; it is said that he would rust away into nothingness if there is ever a time with no more conflicts to be fought. The church of Gorum proclaims faith in strength and power over spirituality or intellect. High priests are great warriors who attain their position through battle. Gorum is worshiped by mercenaries and barbarians all across the world, but are most commonly found in lands where conflict and battle are common.“

He then waits to see if this resonates with him.

”So what do you think about Gorum and all the other gods that I told you about?“

Sorry for the delay, that was a lot to digest!

"How much value is there in the Opera house? Seems to me that'll be a high risk, high reward type operation. We could find 'nother cache of supplies, or leads to other safehouses that might still be intact."

Edmund shifts his conversation over to Clencjaw.

"Seem the Milani folks were a big part of the ravens too. We best get to making headway with these other movements- the more the merrier at this point. These here followers might even have some text or histories that'll help ups out."

Being exposed to religion for the first time, Red considers it with interest. "Gorum like fight? Red like fight..RRrr.. Red like Golum..."

Regarding the documents, Red makes head nor tails of it's content but listen in with intrigue as the mysteries of the city start to unveil. "We go where fight?..RRrr..Opera House?"

Is fair fortune an option to search for treasure? If yes, that's got my vote

I believe the treasure that was already recovered (pre scenario) were from the 'fair fortune'. I also could be very wrong about that
