Hi - have been waiting on Mawgrim to respond but he's obviously underwater. I'll re-kick things off this evening. I also plan to write to Paizo to acquire ownership of the campaign (which allows me access to the character list and the campaign info), I guess that would occur tomorrow. It will still be "GM Mawgrim's Rise of the Runelords", to be clear.
I may need to set up a separate Roll20 campaign if I haven't been handed access before we next need a tactical board.

You'll notice that on Friday Paizo switched ownership of the campaign. I'll add some general policy notes on the Campaign info when I get the time. I'll also change the Roll20 link as I don't have GM access to the old one.
Had a rough week at work last week (and likely this) plus daughter's birthday over weekend - sorry about lack of posting.
We should roll our own perceptions when we can I should think, excepting when it's more expedient for the DM to do so given the nature of PbP and the speed thereof. :)

Correct, was botting Shae, assumed she would want to check perception so went ahead. My general policy is to let you guys run active perception. There may be cases where I need *everyone* to roll perception - if that's the case I'll either spoiler it or maybe run it en masse.
I had a PM from Shae wondering if something was wrong with the board. The answer is that I had a couple of long days Thursday/Friday, including an 18 hour round trip to Holland. In general I am trying to keep up a rhythm of posting on the campaigns. One difference on RotRL is that the episodic structure of this opening section (and the encounter order is a bit all over the place) makes it easier for me to run it from the paper copy of the book than from the PDF; so if I'm on the road (or have a long day at the office) it may have to wait till I get back. But I do hope to keep up on at least a post a day basis and will try to let you know if there is going to be a problem.
I'm going to be without internet access until Monday afternoon (though I should have a brief posting window on Sunday). Bot my character as needed.

Dunno. He mentioned a busy period at work, but now it's been about a week and a half since his last post on the Paizo boards. Hopefully, it's nothing major: maybe a passing bout of PbP fatigue and not full fledged GM burnout.
Hi - sorry. Got back from a trip to the US and acquired an infection - have been in hospital this last week. Got out yesterday and finally online today. I'm just going round updating my various games; will try and get things back on track tomorrow (but I have a fair bit of catching up to do). Apologies again.

Heh--4 posts in about an hour and a half. Can you tell how much I missed this game? :)
Quick Note: I'll probably be offline for the next couple of days (jury duty tomorrow (at the least); holiday Friday). I hope to catch up on Saturday and will give an update then if I actually get picked for a jury.

I like this game and group too much to give up hope just yet. I'm holding out hope it's just another crazy work/travel period for Shady that will eventually pass.
Well, we're closing in on a month with no DM.
I'm officially out. I'll look for another Rise of the Runelords to push Serolt though if I can find one that'll take him.

That said, I'm not giving up on this game just yet, but....
As the GM and some of you may know, I don't have home internet and post from my local library. Well, I went to the ER last night and found out that I have a kidney stone. The doctors are hoping I'll pass it within a week. Right now the pain's not bad, so my tentative plan is to visit the library briefly every other day to catch up/stay current in the games I play on these forums. If the pain gets as bad as I'm told it might, that's subject to change. So if I disappear...that's the reason. I'll try to post an update when I can.
The GM may bot my character as he sees fit (assuming things start up again, of course).
Well, it was fun while it lasted. If this one gets back on its feet, I'll be around. ;)
