Mysterra closes the rest of the distance between herself and the bouncer and steps in front of the doors to the club. She winds up and punches him in the face, causing her circuitry to spark with purple light--in places. Unlike Xera's bright, healthy glow, Mysterra's circuits glow sporadically, with a dim, flickering light.

Orlam moves past Valius, closing in on the bouncer at an angle so he flanks against Mysterra and takes a swing at the man with one of his fists, though he misses badly as he slips on the grounding, nearly losing his balance.

There is no AoO for unarmed attacks.

There are only three things that provoke in Starfinder:
* Moving out of a threatened square,
* Firing a ranged weapon, and
* Casting a spell.

Not sure what penalties apply here, but I'm assuming that if its -4 then a 16 hits.

"See, I'm offended now that you keep trying to club me," Valius states as he whips his scimitar around to clock the bouncer in the side - pulling his blow so not to deal any lasting damage. He doesn't want to kill anyone just yet. Not until it was no longer an option.

The majority of the group close in on the lone bouncer, his eyes widening in fear as the realization of being outnumbered dawns on him. A swift punch to the jaw by Mysterra is quickly followed up by the flat of Valius' blade slapping the man in the side of the chest, knocking the wind out of him momentarily.

Mysterra attacks with unarmed strike and hits, dealing 3 nonlethal damage. Orlam attacks with unarmed strike and misses. Valius attacks with scimitar and hits, dealing 6 nonlethal damage.

Hmmmm, it shows on mine. Maybe I didn't label it very well, that 3 is the attack roll so I didn't bother with a damage roll. Or if you don't see that then I got a 3.

I could have sworn yesterday/last night that it was showing a 1d3 not a 1d20 :/ that’s disconcerting. Apologies, please disregard my comment - clearly my exhaustion is causing me to not comprehend things atm.

Sorry guys if everyone was waiting for me.

Xera darts forward past Valius with her needler pistol. She brandishes it before taking a shot.

CHUFF! the needler speaks as a burst of pressurized air propels a dart towards the bouncer.

Harrying Fire: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18

Next attack against the bouncer is +2 to hit.

As Private Eye flounders in his attempt to strike down the bouncer, Xera looses a dart from her needles pistol which flies directly past the bouncers face and causes him to second guess his movements. He looks over at the android and snarls. ”Oh, so we are upping the stakes, are we love? Very well,” he says as he pulls a laser pistol out from his belt at the small of his back, taking a careful couple of steps away from Orlam and Mysterra.

Just at that moment, the the deep bass beat and ululating vocals of the music playing inside of the club grows louder as the exit door opens up. The other bouncer stands in the doorway, a startled look on his face as he takes in the chaos of the melee occurring just outside of the club. After a few seconds, he gathers his wits enough to raise his arms in a defensive measure.

Bouncer 1 takes a guarded step and draws a laser pistol. Bouncer 2 *does something* and opens the door.

Round 3 is up folks - don’t worry about factoring in the +2 for the harrying fire against your attack against Bouncer 1 - I’ll factor it in for the first attack to be made against him. As Xera was the one to make the harrying fire, I will rule that she cannot benefit from the +2 against him as the bonus would disappear before the beginning of her next turn anyway.

Seeing the threat before them becoming more grave, Mysterra and Valius both attempt to take down the first bouncer. Despite the harrying fire provided by Xera, the older android fails to land a blow on the man. Valius, on the other hand, swings the star-wrought scimitar in a deadly arc that carves a line in the bouncer's chest and eliciting a wet gasp as the man collapses to the floor, blood beginning to pool on the metal street under the body.

Mysterra attacks and misses the bouncer. Valius attacks and hits, dealing 7 damage. Bouncer 1 is now dead, so Private Eye's attack may be redirected at Bouncer 2, or another action chosen.

"Agreed." Is there someplace nearby she can stash the bodies? Did she catch a glimpse of the club interior entrance?

There appears to be a room near to the door with a window cut into it, but from what was seen it appears is that the club is fairly open-planned.There are no alleyways nearby - the corners of blocks seem to just be other normal streets.

As the melee winds down and people catch their breath from the adrenaline, the nuar delivery-man stands next to his cart continuing to chew on a large piece of gum, his computer tablet still in hand. ”Mmmm, messy,” he says ponderously, ”never did care much for them two.”

The bullheaded figure’s voice has a deep and reverberating quality to it, and he appears to be completely unperturbed by the bloodshed that occurred before him. Other than the nuar and his delivery cart - still loaded with two crates destined for the Fusion Queen - the street is empty for now.

Female Drow Soldier | SP: 7/7, HP: 11/11, RP: 3/4 | EAC: 15, KAC: 15, CMD: 23 | Init +3 | F:+2, R: +3, W:+2 | Bluff +5, Dip/Int: +1, SM: +0, Perc: +6 | Acrobatics +7, Athletics +7 | Speed 30 ft. | Active Conditions: None

Looking at the crates, Mysterra remarks without emotion, "We can complete that delivery for you."

Mysterra grabs a crate and carries it into the Fusion Queen. Once inside she looks around, puts down the crate, and returns outside. She wants to bring the crates inside and stash the bodies behind them.

The crates are about a little over foot long in each direction, and the sound of glass bottles clinking together rings from within them as they are picked up.

The dimly lit interior of the nightclub is filled with the press of sweaty bodies, a haze of narcotic smoke, and the pounding beat and ululating vocals of bakarang music blaring from the main stage in the northeast corner of the room. A sinuous bar winds around the northwest corner, offering a variety of drinks and drugs for purchase. Booths line the south wall of the club, facing the main stage in the northeast corner and the crowded dance floor beneath it. Gyrating dancers stand atop four smaller stages scattered around the club: one behind the bar, one in the center of the room, and two flanking the main stage. Wide double doors marked “Staff Only” exit the room to the west, and between these doors and the front doors is a small room with a window cut out of it, and a small neon sign saying “Coat Check” above the window.

As Mysterra sets the crate onto the floor and turns to walk out of the club, one of the bartenders looks up. ”Hey, newbie! she calls out angrily, barely audible over the din. ”Deliveries are brought here!” she says as she slaps the bar in front of her.

The crates are probably not large enough to hide a dead body behind inside of a busy club without being noticed, but you may certainly try if you wish.

Mysterra looks at the bartender and stares for a while, then moves the crates over to where she indicated. Mysterra looks around and heads back outside to get the other crate. "Hadn't meant for it to go that way, but... screw them. They killed Duravor."

She waves a hand over the area where the blood has been spilled. The blood turns slowly to ash and blows away.

Casting token spell to clean the bloodstains.

She looks over the bodies quickly to see if the bouncers have anything of value. She then looks around for a ventilation shaft or maintenance hatch where the bodies could be hidden.

If he cannot find a place to quickly drag the bodies while Mysterra makes her first trek into the bar, Orlam shrugs. "Leave them, then. We will have to strike swiftly anyway. If an alarm is raised, maybe the confusion will mask our presence as we will already be inside."

The soldier moves into the bar with Mysterra when she takes the second crate, his eyes taking in the scene. "That way. Leave the crate." Orlam grunts as he takes a hard left, headed for the Staff Only exit...

I vote for 'Let's do this quick!'

Perception, DC 15:

Instead he notices something useful for clearing out anyone who they didn't want to end up in the middle of a firefight. As they walk towards the entry, Valius smashes and draws the fire lever.

-Outside-

The nuar looks at Xera and then back down at his empty trolley. "I will put them on here and I will cover them with something," he says between chews of the wad of gum. "People here do not tend to be nosy, I have found."

-Inside the club-

A split second after Valius smashes the thin glass casing and presses on the fire alarm's lever, a loud, high-pitched ringing can be heard over the music, cutting through the air like a blade. Those who are dancing slowly stop what they are doing as the music begins to repeat itself without variation and look around with confused expressions on their faces. The bar staff look to each other and nod before beginning to lock up the registers quickly and telling people to leave the venue, while the dancers quickly dismount their podiums and the DJ starts to cover his equipment with a plastic tarpaulin.

Mysterra delivers the last crate properly, placing it with care near the bar.

She stands and turns, noticing the her companions slip into the 'Staff Only' room. Mysterra follows seriously, only to have the fire alarm begin to blare loudly before she's halfway there.

She looks around, curious.

Fire?

Deciding she'd best ensure her companions get out alive, she heads into the staff room--discovering they've pulled the fire alarm.

False alarm! That's a relief!

Deciding her semi-automatic pistol is better in close quarters than her laser rifle, Mysterra draws her pistol, flicks off the safety and stands ready to move when her colleagues do.

As per the update in the discussion thread, Xera can provide the nuar with a pistol and pick up one used by the bouncer.

With the ringing of the fire alarm sounding noisily in the club, which has now replaced the staccato beat of the music, the club's patrons and staff file out of the club in a hectic but relatively orderly manner. They seem to pay no attention to the small group congregating near to the doors marked 'Staff Only' as they are pushed out by those behind them keen to get out of the building.

Looks like people are keen to take advantage of the confusion created by the fire alarm, so let's go with that.

As Orlam pushes the door open quickly, he and the rest of the group find themselves confronted with the club's storeroom. This large room is filled with supplies for the bar outside, including bottles of hard alcohol, kegs of beer, and boxes of food and recreational stimulants. One corner holds amplifiers, musical instruments, and costumes for the club’s entertainers. A single door stands in the north wall.

There is also a large circular table here with three gang members standing around it having appeared to abandon a game of cards due to the fire alarm. The three of them look very familiar to Orlam, Xera, and Mysterra, as they are the three gangers from the attack on Docking Bay 94. They stand slightly bewildered as the door opens to the sight of the group standing, weapons bared.

Mysterra: We'll go with the red one as being the one you shot at in the first encounter :)

Xera's laser shot fires right over Mysterra's shoulder, the bolt catching the gang member square in the shoulder. As he winces, his face contorting with the pain of being shot at, Mysterra steps in and positions herself in front of the man she had winged in the firefight on the docking bay. At the same time, Orlam steps between the gangers and the door leading into the next room, brandishing both of his heavy weapons menacingly.

Xera attacks and hits the gang member (blue)

Initiative - Surprise Round
19 - Valius
17 - Xera
14 - Mysterra

12 - Private Eye
9 - Orlam

[ooc]Partial charge isn't a thing in Starfinder that I can see, so it will be just a move action. I can, however, allow you to use the attack roll as an AoO if any of the gang members are wanting to get to the door before your next turn. Valius and Private Eye, you may still take your standard+swift or move+swift actions.

Male Human Priest Solarion/2 | BAB +2 HP 18/18 SP 8/16 RP 3/3 | EAC 12 KAC 13 | INIT +0 PERC +5 | FORT +3 REF +0 WILL +4

Valius closes his fist around his solar mote, recreating the golden scimitar from before. He stands ready for the fight he assumes is about to break out here, and hopes the alarm is loud enough to prevent attention from other gang members.

Android Mystic 2 | SP 12/12 : HP 16/16 : RP 3/3 | EAC 16 : KAC 17 | Init +4 : Perc +6 : S.M. +4 | Fort +0 : Reflex +4 : Will +4 | Move 30' | Spells: 1st 1/3 | Ammo 9/9+26

About "partial charge:"

Charging grants a penalty instead of a bonus in Starfinder (-2 to hit and to AC), but you use it because it is the only way to double-move and attack in the same round.

I don't think it would break the game to have a "partial charge" version for when you only have a standard action available (because of surprise or you are staggered), that had the same penalties. On the other hand, it changes the balance of abilities that inflict the staggered condition (which become not as good since they can't keep a melee opponent from engaging you).

Male Android Bounty Hunter Operative 2 | SP 14/14 HP 16/16 RP 3/4 | EAC 15 KAC 16 | F +1 R +6 W +3 | Init +4 | Speed 30 feet

Eye moves into the room trying to get a clear shot. Also, he hopes they can avoid arousing any more attention from the main floor.

GM Stuff:
Initiative: Gang members: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
Roll off: Gang members: 1d20 ⇒ 4
Roll off: Private Eye: 1d20 ⇒ 5

As Private Eye slips into the room, the laser pistol fire from Xera seems to elicit a couple of yelps of surprise from the club-goers. They begin to push against one another in an effort to get out of the club quickly.

Initiative - Round 1
19 - Valius
17 - Xera
14 - Mysterra
12 - Private Eye

12 - Gang members
9 - Orlam

Valius, Xera, Mysterra, and Private Eye, it is now round 1 for you all :)

Female Drow Soldier | SP: 7/7, HP: 11/11, RP: 3/4 | EAC: 15, KAC: 15, CMD: 23 | Init +3 | F:+2, R: +3, W:+2 | Bluff +5, Dip/Int: +1, SM: +0, Perc: +6 | Acrobatics +7, Athletics +7 | Speed 30 ft. | Active Conditions: None

Mysterra waits for the man she spoke to to answer her question. As she waits she watches him, allowing her exocortex to analyze him. Activating combat tracking on red as a move action.

She holds her gun in her hand, aimed at him and ready to be fired.

Mysterra is readying an action to shoot Red if he does anything other than answer the question she asked.

Readied Attack:

Readied Attack vs. KAC: 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 3 + 1 = 5
Piercing Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 3

Male Android Bounty Hunter Operative 2 | SP 14/14 HP 16/16 RP 3/4 | EAC 15 KAC 16 | F +1 R +6 W +3 | Init +4 | Speed 30 feet

Since the others seem to recognize these three as a threat Private Eye decides to treat them the same way. He opens fire on the banger in front of him but misses. Eye swears under his breath at his terrible performance on this job so far.

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (10) + 10 = 20
Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8vs KAC
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 1

Attempting a trick attack but I'm sure that misses anyway.
