Okay that post is like 3 months ago -- anyone want to give me a synopsis of what has occurred since then so that I can interact with what is currently going on?
I plan on back reading but that might take some time and want to be able to put something into the mix.
Any aspects of Sazzat the you other players would like to share with me -- things you noticed, peculiarities and such just about anything to help me maintain the character's personna
The trash panda is awesome
He's pretty sarcastic, and has a pet trash panda Corrin said. We are still eking our way through Thistletop.
We fought and captured a big bad named Nualia, and left her tied up on the floor above. I am sure she will still be there when we head back. Mmhmm.
We're in the depths of the place looking for (the body of?)Tsuto, whome Corrin is fairly obsessed with getting revenge on, after he did bad things back in Sandpoint. The dungeon crawl has been going since before I joined in like October =D
Sazzat tends to lead the way and do the rogue-y trap seeking things while cracking wise and making dark jokes.
Sazzat was sarcastic and also very to-the-point. Meaning, it would be reasonable to have him say a little more and explore another side of the character if you liked. He doesn't have to remain precisely as he was, perhaps he'd warmed up to the group more.
Thanks for the incites I will try to adhere to the "script" given to me by the previous player and do my best to adhere to the basics of the role I have taken on to play. I have picked up characters like this before and I enjoy the challenge of playing the role as to true to its beginnings as I can. Does not mean I will not put my own spin on it but it does give me an idea of things I need to look up.

the former player loves raccoons, and the previous DM before me allowed Sazzat to have the Raccoon. Sazzat imagined him as a sort of "rocket" from Guardians of the galaxy.
Awesome sounds like good a pet -- a raccoon with attitude. Rizz I asked in PM if you could give more details on Bandit --- [ aka the Trash Panda although a Raccoon looks nothing like a Panda totally wrong coloration scheme ;) that is unless this Raccoon happens to be white and black rather than the more common brown or gray and black (although all white {more like blonde} and all black are not too uncommon) still a panda looking raccoon would be kind of cool too ]

So, generic posting of warning.
My wife reports for surgery in roughly 12 hours.
Her surgeon has asked me to take 2 weeks from work to be at home to provide assistance.
That will also mean corralling the two grandchildren, keeping them entertained and fed while their Mom works, and keeping them out of Grandma's hair.
Can't say that I'm positive what my posting habits will be like until I can return to my normal schedule.

Do not see a need to clutter up the Game Play with a nothing post -- so Sazzat will simply maintain his position unless something changes or Bandit shows up.

Trying to make sense of Bandit's emotions, Sazzat is momentarily distracted and only notices Evriani once she spoke out. This did not bode well, and was it more than coincidental. Either way it did not matter, entering the Hagfish overtly had not been on his agenda, and was not still but how to handle this adroitly just in case.
"Well... while I was thinking about slipping in and grabbing a pint, I was also on the fence about it. However... entering with you... well... no offense mind you, but that could cause me a lot of grief. I mean I have a..." takes a deep audible breath in through his nose and then says, "girlfriend after all. Whose father's business lies right over there. So all things considered, I am going to have to regretfully," he over emphasizes regrettfully, "decline your most generous offer of... uh... comraderie or." he gives a smile and a shrug but lives it hanging, in case the offer had included more than just comraderie. He saw no reason to completely shut the door on the lady, but now was not the time to forgo all of one's senses for the potential promise of hidden treasures. As such, he expertly disentangles himself saying, "So until next time m'lady," he makes a courtly bow, "I must bid you ado."
Unless she attempts to stop him he will side-step her with a sort of courtly twirling dance step and walk in the direction of Ven's place of business.

So Thursday I got word that my little sister was diagnosed with a stage two invasive breast cancer. Its essentially the same one that took our grandmother and great aunt. Im seeking a 2nd job to help with upcoming medical bills and will do my best to keep up with my commitments here becuase i'll need something to distract my mind. If i seem distant or vacant feel free to give me a nudge i wont hold it against you.

Yeah I thought it was a given, I mean they actually lock up all the sane folks and do their best to help them fit into this mad mad world we live in. However, the cake they have been eating by the ocean while its great, being so delicious and moist, has not done the trick. Still there's no sense crying over every mistake. They'll just keep on trying 'til they run out of cake. For they have experiments to run and research to be done, on the people who are still alive. Uh... I mean sane.
It's all cool, Desna may be the first deity people think of when they talk about Zel but our dear cartomancer is actually a polytheist!

can you give me heads up about where you will be headed?
remember, the options are :
1) Looking at the sandpoint town map, the shortest road from the hinterlands to sandpoint itself is along the lost coast road. you can fall into the nobles group that road into town and are now just arriving to the Nobles dinner at the Rusty Dragon Inn.
2) you can meet the nobles, exchange pleasantries with them, but beg off, indicating you wish to talk with Father Zantus about what youve encountered, and can go directly to the Sandpoint Cathedral
or
3) "screw this. im due for a vacay. im going fishing off of boggy creek!" see if you can catch a massive trout or bass. or a shark?
the shared background can take a little bit to be written, but if you both would like to get into the action now, I just need to know what direction you'll be headed. i can work with any of the three choices
And as posted in Discord -- if either or both of you want a hand on writing that back story and/or maybe running a fast-tracked version of it (assuming Rizz is okay with that) I can be of help -- I am fairly good at merging story content with background content with more content ;)

FYI: I'll be away this coming weekend starting Friday evening 9/8 through Sunday 9/10 (US/Pacific time). I will have limited access to post from my phone, so I may be able to keep up over the weekend but can't guarantee a post. As it is the weekend, I suspect this won't be very disruptive to the game.
