well, im back. I can say that it was 40% fun, 60% wet. weatherman said it was supposed to rain for a few hours monday, and it wouldnt rain again until saturday. Well, it started raining monday evening about 3 hours after we got set up....and it didnt stop raining until thursday afternoon. and then it would rain again on saturday as well. We were scheduled thru tomorrow, monday the 27th, but we decided that it would be better to pack up and leave on friday while a majority of our gear had dried. here's some pics i took of the hiking we did. We went to amnicon falls, copper falls, and big manitou falls in wisconsin. unfortunately, i couldnt get a decent picture of Big manitou falls because of it's height and the trees blocking the sight.

Well I'm sorry you had to leave early, but the pictures looked really good! That sucks that it was all rain, I've had that problem as well and it sucks every time.

Oh, I decided to get an artist to draw Zeldana for me! She just finished the sketch and the final artwork should be done come Thursday! She's very reasonable price wise and does fantastic work!

it was about a 3 mile hike for amnicon falls. The river split, creating an island about 1/4 mile in size. we hiked around that, crossed the river, and hiked up it, crossed another bridge, and then back down the other side back to the truck.

Corrin could use the composite shortbow, his only real ranged attack is a thrown spear and well its not all that ranged.

Keeping the silve dagger might be useful too, there are some things that silver is effective against. I would gather Tamm would be the best holder of that.

the book is worth 100gps, but is an ancient prayer book dedicated to Lamashtu. Loxley would have to devote 4 hours of reading to get the full jist of the book. id say that with the devotion, and meeting a DC 23 Knowledge Religion check, you could gain a +1 skill bonus to Knowledge religion for interacting with followers of Lamashtu.

I figure Yeda and Corrin will be swung at the most in the near future and we don't have very good protective gear for anyone. I'd leave the ring on a front liner for now. We can re-arrange later if we want.

I was going to look into maybe a masterwork spear... or two. I tend to throw them on occasion. But if we are going to go march off after evil monks and their mooks, some alchemical weapons and potions is probably the way to go.

Tanglefoot bags are great, if pricey. some potions of barkskin might not be a bad idea. definitely a wand of cure light, maybe a potion or two in case of oh crap moments. Barding of some sort for an elk might be nice too :)

I can't think of anything for Loxley, except maybe MW weapons but I'm not sure if she'd find a MW dueling sword in town. A MW bow might be do-able or a spell scroll to add to her book.
I'll go in for barding for Dewdrop, I think it'd be a big help.

I figure at least two tanglefoot bags. 100gp for two. Monks are tricky.
3 cure light potions (unless we found some) 150 gp. Probably best given to myself, Yeda, and sazzat. Just in case we cant get back to our backline for healing proper.

potions of enlarge person? they cost 50 gp each. A large Yeda with her sword will definitely hurt things badly.

potion of sanctuary. Would also be 50 gp. overlooked item. Gives our healers a chance to avoid attacks of opportunity and cast or use a wand. Enemies can overcome it with a will save, As long as the person doing the healing doesnt attack (casting healing spells or using wands is just fine!) its a bonus shield. Bonus. if a creature tries to attack the sanctuaried charector and fails their save they dont get to attack the sanctuaried creature and basically lose their attack that round, they dont get to just try to hit someone else. I dont imagine goblins have ran across that too often :)

alchemical fire 20 gp a flask
acid - 10 gp a flask.

I figure with a new wand of cure light, (750) 2 tanglefoot bags, (100)
3 cure light (150 gp) thats 1,000 out of our 1900. leaving 900 for weapons or whathave you.

Definitely want to get Miss Yeda a masterwork weapon. She's the heavy hitter.

She did just learn the spell though, and can cast it up to 2x/day (right now).

For Yeda's mk weapon, a Masterwork Greatsword is 350.

She's not a ranged fighter, but she'd benefit from having a few javelins as well (just in case, another 3gp).

If I got a weapon, It would be a MW Longbow. but that would be 375g. Like I said earlier, I don't think we'd find a MW dueling sword in town.

For the waist up, which is what I got, it is 60€ which is about $70 for Americans. That is without armor, an armored character is 10 more. Oh! And you have to pay the PayPal cost. Which is 2€, so it roughly comes out to $74 bucks after everything.

Here is the info for her commissions. Also if you all want to pitch in and get a huge picture of all our characters together. I'd totally be up for that!

Also it takes about a week to get the art after you send the money. A day or two for the sketch, then the rest for coloring. It would be longer if we did the large picture.

For my first one I saved 10 bucks every paycheck. Depending on how long the list of commissions is it can take her three months to get through them all! So I normally have time to save because I'll ask for the last spot!

Hey guys, glad to see the game is still going. Id just like to say that I'm sorry for all the times I left without a word, especially the last time. Mental health and suicidal thoughts have been struggles for me since I was around 6 (so 10 years at this point,) and after a failed suicide attempt, I realised I needed to focus on my mental wellbeing. I stepped away from online forums, and just focused on school, trying to participate in more school activities, and started taking antidepressants and going to therapy. I'm doing better now, and I would just like to say that this group helped me through some trying times, and I'm endlessly thankful for all of you.
