So my mother in law will be alright, at least as alright as it can be. She has MS you see, and it has just progressed to a turning point. She has to be in a wheelchair now as the control of her body from the waist down is minimal at best, and it is in her brain which means she'll lose her eyesight in a year or so.
She is out of the hospital now, and is home. Monday all of her kids, my husband and his brothers, will all be sitting down to talk about what needs to be done. She either has to go into an assisted living facility or move in with one of us and will need almost 24 hour care.
well crap. that sucks Zel. I am sorry to hear that. My sister in law is kind of in a similar issue. She had a brain aneurysm, and a side effect was it damaged part of her spinal column. She now has to use a wheelchair as well and has limited control of her lower body. So i feel for you Zel. i really do.
Testing my rss reader
I find the RSS feeds published on paizo to be flaky, so if you're seeing a problem it may not be the reader. I use feedly, and I'll get weeks of silence followed by a sudden deluge of old posts (bleh).
Yeah it turns out my rss reader will pick up when paizo does server maintenance, and will feed the new website address showing the goblins working. I have to manually change the address.

mine was good. got to hang out and spend the weekend with a buddy of mine. Painted some 40k models and watched Vampire hunter D, both the original and remake. pretty good.
It was good till I found out my dad has cancer... But in the form of positive thinking I've been told to do. It does seem like they have caught it early.

well, it's Christmas time. and then new years.
I know this time of year people get a little sporadic with their postings because of the holidays, so, i wanted to know if your going to be able post somewhat, or more, or less than normal? or will it be sporadic? or even "yeah, im off wednesday this week and straight on til Jan 4th, so no posts for me".
For myself, Dec 24th and 25th i am not planning to post. Same with Jan 1st. Aside from that, i may be a bit slow, but still planning to post when i can.
I took my year end vacaystaytion already so im good for posting whenever :) and I thought I answered >.< post incoming.
My posting ability is actually increased during this time (aside from the specific special days you mentioned). I'm off work to rest for the end of the year (and work is my usual limiter).
Well I'm furloughed so I have all the time... that I have filled being an in between for my family... I run their errands effectively.
I should be fine posting normally. I had to help my wife this weekend past with getting baking done for gift baskets, so I should be in the clear now.

I ended up hosting a few get togethers with other family members at various times of the days. I think a couple of them were because a family member showed up to chat, and then a couple hours later the rest of the family rolled in and we were doing potluck dinners.
Over all, it was nice to sit, chat, and veg.
Yeah, nice and relaxing here. I don't mind that it was no get-togethers :P

As you crouch low and move through the tunnel, you spot something odd near the edges of the tunnel, on the ground. A slight channel, of dirt forming a slight mound at the edges where plant meets dirt. It is on both sides of the tunnel, and moves from the tunnel edge and beyond to the right.
I'm not quite getting the description (I'm sure that's how it was written up in the AP). It almost sounds like what would be wagon wheel tracks. And "to the right" meaning the channels/mounds on both sides veer off of the tunnel's path?

My mine problem now is just dealing with my free time. With the holidays over I'm not running errands for my family any more and I uha... lost a whole day doing next to nothing...

Yeah, kind of hard describing drag marks in the dirt, indicating a heavy item was dragged.
