Calden's question reminded me of something that's always mildly interested me: Pathfinder doesn't really have a straight-up god of thieves, does it?

There's Besmara, but pirates are a little more specialized than just thieves. Calistria has trickery, but is more of a deity for elves and selfish vices. Maybe Norgorber is the most thief-like, but I think I'd be more interested in a neutral deity for thieves and their ilk.

Edit: Norgorber is exactly the god of thieves. Never mind. Like I said, I just forget he exists because I don't look at evil deities for PC worship. Also, I probably don't notice him because he's so sneaky.

Guys, I need to know how are you going to deal with the dying bandits. One of them is dead already, while the remaining two are dying. Will you stabilize them? Will you heal them? Will you deliver the final blow to them? Will you sink their bodies along with their sailboat? Will you heal them, tie them and turn them over to Tamran government along with their charter? Other ideas? Please let me know ;)

Korech claims an alchemist's fire and a potion of CLW. Calden indicated we save the dying ones, and bring them all to the local watch for incarceration/disposal. I'm fine with that, though will talk about lugging a corpse around in game. :D

I think we should capture the privateers and hand them over alive as Calden suggests.

I also just wanted to point out a rules issue that I just double checked. Identifying a scroll is both easier and harder to identify than what we've been doing:

From the rules on scrolls:

Scroll Rules wrote:
Decipher the Writing: The writing on a scroll must be deciphered before a character can use it or know exactly what spell it contains. This requires a read magic spell or a successful Spellcraft check (DC 20 + spell level). Deciphering a scroll is a full-round action.

So finding out what a scroll is just requires a cantrip, otherwise it requires a difficult Spellcraft check (although I think you don't need to cast detect magic to try to decipher the magical writing).
