@Kendra
All the friends of Prof Lorrimor stayed in your house and will now again if you don't object. The testament asked them to stay with you for 30 days until you decide what you will do.
So given the circumstances there are the following things that will likely happen:
- All of the friends will move to Lepidstadt (or they would turn down 1000gp inheritage)
- Also these friends will deliver the books as asked to in the testament
- Kendra will have to decide if she stays in Ravengro, or if she sells the house and leaves.
In the original AP the last point is of no consequence but for us it is. Because it defines with how much wealth you leave Ravengro. You could either decide you go for a visit to Lepidstadt and keep the house. Or you abandon the town for a life in Lepidstadt. Both will lead to adventuring beyond that but that's the starting point. But if you go for selling, you have to find a buyer in town and I'd like to roleplay that instead of simply handing over gold for the decision.
Also you decide when the sandwiches are ready to be served and when the supper is over to call it a day.

Smuggler's Shiv- the name sends shivers down the spine of even the most hardened Shackles pirate, Mwangi slaver or Sargavan corsair. A grave to a hundred unlucky ships, the island is populated with fierce monsters, dread horrors and savage cannibals. Not the place you would want to be shipwrecked.
But you are.

I figured it out, it was because I wasn't in the campaign and it gave me the option to hide it so I did. I can go into the regular board and the campaign tab there to get in.

Have you thought about what entrance into the adventure you'd like?
In skype Jarryd and I discussed a bit the options. My favorite so far would be that you simply meet up on the way to Lepidstadt, as you travel in the same direction.
Jarryd's suggestion that you have your roots in Ravengro too is also nice but so far all connections we came up with have been problematic as it makes no sense to have a paladin in the temple as Pharasma has no paladins.
But before we dig deeper into possibilities it would be nice to hear what ideas you prefer for your backstory.
Like moving to Lepidstadt to study there and once being rejected for one reason or another end up staying with the group. Sorry but I have a bad case of backstory incontinence.

"I'm not sure yet, to be honest." Kendra says with a smile to Mrs. Avanaki. "I might, but this is my Father's home. I'm not sure if I'm able to part with it yet."
You forgot to answer the first question. I suggest bread, cheese, ham, salad, oil, eggs, and what else you need to make more sandwiches :)
Kendra Lorrimor _
Jarryd, hadn't you also suggested something that she was from your temple and you sent her out because she could find a diety that would more fit her abilities?
@jominda: I see now, read it wrong. I think she just ordered 'the usual'.

I have been thinking about:
So i just made an application for the university but they turned me down, because i'm not smart enough.
But because of my impulsiveness and happyness, i am not disapointed and think i can prove my knowledge by going on an adventure. So i just bought everything i could need for an adventure.
So i'm travelling from village to village asking around who knows an adventure for me. And because i like company i just walk up with anyone i can find.
What do you think about that?
Foxy Quickpaw
I guess your parents will be disappointed once they hear you spent the money that was meant for your education on adventuring gear ;)
Personally I would replace 'going on adventure' with either 'help people in need' or 'become a hero', because 'going on adventure' lacks a purpose in my opinion. But that's just a minor thing.
The general idea matches perfectly this happy go lucky character and makes it easy enough to introduce you on the way.
Foxy Quickpaw
You know what? You can simply walk into Ravengro. If you're not in a hurry to get anywhere and are only visiting villages searching for quest givers for your adventure...
I have all the NPCs here in this town with tavern, inn, apothecary and everything. So if you don't want to wait another week until we get everything ready here. You're a little too late to hero around in this town, but finding out about that might also be interesting.
Foxy Quickpaw
Did you decide on a deity for your paladin? It has no consequences stat wise. But it influences the reception you get in game. Most classes are not obvious to distinguish from their looks. If that guy in loincloth is a barbarian, or a ranger you can't tell.
But with Paladins and Clerics this is different. Shining armor and a holy symbol on the breast part of your full plate makes it clear for everyone what you stand for.
Foxy Quickpaw
You can wait, but their is no incentive to do so. We were all fixed on a reason for you to go to Lepidstadt. But you don't need one with your backstory. You can just walk in and get to know people here. And some of them leave to Lepidstadt in a few days and won't mind if someone who's been nice and happy in town for a few days comes along.
But Oracles have no deity and Pharasma is no valid choice for a Paladin.
Foxy Quickpaw
We have:
Abadar LN - Master of the First Vault - God of cities, law, merchants, and wealth
Erastil LG - Old Deadeye - God of family, farming, hunting, and trade
Iomedae LG - The Inheritor - Goddess of honor, justice, rulership, and valor
Iori LN - Master of Masters - God of history, knowledge, and self-perfection
Sarenrae NG - The Dawnflower - Goddess of healing, honesty, redemption, and the sun
Shelyn NG - The Eternal Rose - Goddess of art, beauty, love, and music
Torag LG - Father of Creation - God of the forge, protection, and strategy
As a paladin has to be within one step of the alignment of her deity and a pally has to be LG only these are valid choices.
Kendra Lorrimor _
I gave you pharasma because it was grimburrow's diety
Herm Dunlaven
Oh great and Powerful Foxy of The GMing, does Herm get any extra money or gear to bring him up to even with the party in terms of survivability?
Foxy Quickpaw
There is a masterwork full plate standing in the corner of the general store. If Jominda puts in a good word for you it might be sold to you (and we simply assume you have the money for it). Besides that, you get the inheritance in Lepidstadt. There is also the +1 keen longsword from the prison that we could somehow manage to hand over to Herm if it somehow stayed with Kendra as she identified it.
Kendra Lorrimor _
yea we need to figure out how to divide the loot
Foxy Quickpaw
Not really,
every former NPC (Jominda and Kendra) get to upgrade to whatever they like with the limit of 4th level wealth (6000gold I think).
Jominda has the +1 mithral dagger included in that, you got the ring of protection.
The rest of the stuff would translate into money, so it is not really relevant. The rope of climbing maybe being an exception. That could always be handy.
With Herm it's a bit different, as he has no unknown wealth and a house. So he is not entirely free, but I guess a good armor, and some money later for a cloak of resistance or something similar would cover the needs. If not, just tell what you're missing Herm. But magic earthbreakers are uncommon and don't tend to pop up as loot in the adventures.
