Sir Terramor spends the next ten minutes drilling his allies in the use of his Paired Opportunist feat using his Drill Instructor ability. Everyone now has that feat for the ensuing 13 minutes.

GM, if the entryway looks like it might lead somewhere other than underground, Terramor will bring along his bonded mount, Morningstar. Otherwise, he'll leave the horse with his squire, Bellamy.

The party descends the stairs back towards the Halls of Preservation below where you spoke with Badru and where lies the mysterious portal. However, Badru waits for you in the abandoned workshop with a gargoyle-like creature with long spiky legs and a bat-like head standing by his side. "And here I thought we would make an alliance together to crush the traitor Saruna and bring immortality to the world. But I see how it is now; not everyone will accept immortality willingly and it must be forced. It is for the good of the world."

The gargoyle creature is actually an extraplanar outsider known as a sceaduinar, strange creature born of pure entropy, the antithesis of creation and life. They arise from the unsubstance of the Negative Energy Plane when it coalesces into snowflake-like crystals. They hate the living and the undead with equal passion, perhaps out of jealousy for those who have a spark of life. They have DR/adamantine or good; immunity to cold, death effects, disease, energy drain, and poison

DC 22 KN (planes):
Sceaduinars believe their positive energy counterparts, the jyoti, long ago stole their ability to create, breaking the parallel between the two energy planes and forcing these void-dwellers into an unwanted role of pure destruction. They resist acid, electricity, sonic, and spells. They have entropic flesh which causes anyone who hits them with a melee attack to take negative energy. They are children of the void and can not be affected by things that target souls or identities. They have some spellcasting abilities.

@Wreck: Nice! Blind Fight is great and not just for that use but also so you're not FF against invisible opponents (take that rogues!). Also, since Ryster technically would have gone before you I was going to go back and count those hits anyways.

Ryster brings the room back to normal lighting, Allowing Wreck, Kirrah, and Fendahl to finish the beast off!

As the lights come back Maps is calmly loading his firearm. Seeing that Wreck has already finished off the gargoyle creature, he holsters his weapon casually and looks over the area, stopping to search Badru as well.

Badru carried a scroll of glitterdust, a wand of make whole (5 charges), and a wand of mirror image (5 charges).

Nothing of value is found in the main workshop but in the smaller master's workshop (B4) where you spoke with Badru earlier, something strange has happened....

DC 15 Perception:
You see the mannequins in the room begin to twitch and move.

DC 17 KN (religion) to recognize this as a haunt and know that haunts are harmed by positive energy; if you then beat a 10 initiative, you can take a surprise round action against the haunt.

Not sure what you mean by move your head and speak...does she have an audible voice coming out of the mannequin, or by speaking does it more or less mean simply moving the mannequin's mouth with no sound coming out?

You can move the head of the mannequin and speak from it using your voice. Your soul is inhabiting the mannequin currently, similar to the way Badru was implanted into a mannequin except you are unable to do anything but speak.
