This is a PFS scenario for levels 1-5, being brought to by the GM formerly known as "GM Mike Tuholski!"

Standard PFS rules apply regarding character creation, etc. Check out the free Guide to Organized Play document if you are unfamiliar with PFS. If you do not already have a PFS character you are welcome to make a new level 1 character or play a level 1 or 4 pregen.

A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for Levels 1–5.

In researching a recently recovered druidic lorestone, the Pathfinder Society learns of a powerful artifact with the power to turn men into bestial abominations. Amid claims of increased werewolf activity in the region, the PCs travel into the heart of the Verduran Forest to retrieve the valuable relic from a cabal of evil druids believed to currently hold it.

Either way this one won't start until next week as I'm finishing up finals this week and am in the process of getting another PbP going (Perils of the Pirate Pact). So you can all deliberate characters and subtier for a week.

Yeah that's cool. I'd like to get a tier appropriate game for her (and this would level her to 6), but if it breaks low I'll drop out maybe play with a 3rd level blackblade magus.

Hey, me again, would love to get my Urban Ranger into some action. Let me know if he fits. I prefer high tier too. I'f you'd rather have a higher level charcter, no problem, I can bow out.

Sister Sahar, greetings and good tidings. Unlike my kin, I prefer the open outdoors compared to the sewers of Absalom. Traveling the world and seeing the different lands that make up each country is one of the reasons I became a Pathfinder.

So we've got:

6. Ezrek

Looks like a party! Valdakir, you can make whatever you want. Just make sure it follows the PFS rules. Check the Guide to Pathfinder Society Organized Play for more information and make sure to double-check the Additional Resources page to make sure any archetypes, spells, etc. that you are using are legal.

BTW, Kumari, you need to make a legal character. Ifrit is not a legal race without a boon. Since you've never played PFS before, you would not have said boon.

Thanks, I just noticed that too going through people's profiles. The only legal races (without boons) are the CRB races, Aasimars, Tieflings, and Tengus.

If some of you want to play different (lower level characters) or wait for more high-tier people to show, that's fine. I'm trying to study for finals anyways, so you've got a week to work things out.

Hey, I have played a lot before, but this is a new character. I am ok with whatever decision you guys have. As an Urban Ranger Archer I shouldn't suffer to bad for being lower level but we'll see.

Boons are given out at conventions. Boons to play other races are usually given out as GM boons; for example, by GMing a scenario at GenCon this year you are given a boon which lets you make one character either an ifrit, oread, sylph, or undine. It's pretty tough to get a racial boon without having something to trade (buying/selling them is frowned upon) or without GMing, especially the elemental race boons because GenCon will be the first time they've been available in a couple years I believe.

I have also created a 1st level Aasimar Paladin that I could play if we are going to break sub-tier 1-2.

I prefer to play human sorcerers or paladins - the characters will be made with Herolab PFS options so hopefully everything should be legal.

Let me know if anyone has any strong preference over which one of the two classes I use.

Oh, and this session would bring me to 4th Level - I'm all for playing up in this case.

I think I could run this one at high tier for Ezrek, Desmond, Shan, and Sahar (and any other higher tiered characters) and start a different scenario for the lower tiered people. I'll pick another out and update tonight.

Hi, I would like to get involved in this if possible? This would be my first game however so I would need a few pointers and help along the way to flesh out the game concepts/rules. Tried my hand at character creation today (arcane h-e sorcerer lv1) and you can find that on my profile. No joy with a history for him yet but i know the personality. I work in accounts so normal office bod hours and my wife is not pregnant yet :) I live in London (GMT) but if your playing by post i don't think that would be an issue.

@Razamoph - Welcome to Pathfinder and Pathfinder Society. I looked over your information, and I suggest that you access the Guide to Pathfinder Society Organized Play. The document that you download goes over all of the rules for Society Organized Play.

From the looks of your ability scores, I think that familiarizing yourself with the guide will be helpful.

Also, starting three more PbPs has suddenly turned into five PbPs because of the high number of responses. As long as everyone has fun, I'll manage. I've vowed not to do as many as Tektite, though ;)

Well I'm all full currently but look out for more in the future. You just post in character (usually at least once a day) and make dice rolls, etc, through your posts.
