Well, if it needs a joke really bad, I'm certain Weiman has a really bad joke.
Well played, sir. And I'm of the opinion that you can always make remarks like that in character, you just can't do things that will actually affect the flow of the game. Though I guess you don't know about this haunt yet, so you don't actually know what we're talking about."
Weiman Callbazzern-Walk

Weiman frowns. "After Hinojai and now this, I'm running out of haunt jokes..."
Kn R: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (19) + 9 = 28
He'll Cure Mod at the source or move up to it (since I think the link map is still the statue fight.) CMW: 2d8 + 7 ⇒ (3, 2) + 7 = 12

Weiman casts a curing spell and touches the stone around him and miraculously the sounds stop! Haunt averted!
A sudden burst of brilliant energy erupts from Eldis’s plotfinder, coalescing into a ghostly young man peacefully floating in midair. Three distinct yet similar voices emit from the spectre echoing as he speaks; “Thank you for freeing me, I owe you my salvation.” The spirit sways in the air, and a pervading sense of joy fills the area. “You seek my uncle Benton. Please let me tell you how to find him.”
Eldis gives you directions to Fiendsmaw, telling you that is where the people who were trapped down here are being held. "Now, if you will allow me, I can do but one more thing to help you." Suddenly Eldis' form splits apart and six separate soul fragments float towards each of you and begin to merge with your body.
Assuming you accept his gift, you will receive a +2 sacred bonus to all saving throws and may reroll 1 failed Fortitude save. This bonus lasts for the rest of the scenario.
Eldis' wayfinder remains behind after he departs.
Valeros the Pregenerated
Valeros looks around in alarm as the transparent piece of soul floats towards him, even raising his sword as if to protect himself from it, but to no effect. As the thing merges with his body, he feels...blessed - not something he's particularly used to. But he welcomes the sensation, and nods at Kyra's words. "Yeah, let's get to this Fiendsmaw and get them out of here."

Sinking into black waters, a proud citadel struggles to maintain its regality, but the ravages of time have clearly won the battle. This great structure leans towards the embankment of a forgotten cove that seems poised to swallow it whole. Crumbling staircases provide access to the slanted citadel in each of the four cardinal directions, and magnificently carved marble columns line the corridors into the citadel’s dark heart.
Marble columns depicting Jistkan warriors line the hallways of the first floor of the citadel. Several of these columns lie in ruin amid the crumbling interior.
A black obelisk rises from a flooded chamber toward the second story of the citadel. Etched carvings of grotesque tentacles and talons writhe over the obelisk in tribute to some long forgotten mystical power. Atop the obelisk’s platform, a faint humming breaks the silence. Several large, wall murals adorn the walls opposite of the obelisk, depicting a Golarion from long ago.
Approaching within 10' of the obelisk creates a pulling sensation, a remnant of its ancient powerful magic that has since faded through the years.

I really gotta start taking 10 by default, but that sounds like a lot of failed checks. It just feels dirty when I know what the DC is.: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (15) + 9 = 24
Weiman approaches everything dangerously closely (like always) and comments after taking in the sights Which Acute Senses should still be up, unless it's been more than 7 minutes, putting my Perception at either 23 or 33. He looks at the section crmbling into the waters. "I've got the sinking feeling that that," he points at the mural, "Is Golarion about Weiman is better at math than me: 4120 + 4714 = 8834 years ago."
Valeros the Pregenerated
Valeros studies the murals in wonder, wondering what they could possibly mean. He can't help but moan - and chuckle a bit - at Weiman's explanation of the mural. "That's a long time, eh? Seems like there wouldn't be much left here to worry about now. But just in case, I'm thinking we should take a look around, before we get any closer to that obelisk. Though it sure seems to want me to get closer. You feel that weird pull?"
EndlessForms
As Weiman explains the mural and before Kyra can finish her incantations, a sudden movement is heard from the top of the pillar and the party looks up just in time to see something jumping from the top of the obelisk to one of the higher levels. From the quality of its jumping abilities you can guess that it is a morlock. At the same time, four of the statues on the lower floor begin to move!

Urgh. As someone who tends to play melee characters, I hate those things.
