Fair play, we are in rounds though: We'll take that roll as your throw. Grel now has the rope. He can tie it off next round and you can climb. It is 30ft high so will take three rounds (5ft mov per move action) to get to the top.

GM Elberion:
Carson had already opened the lock, opened the door and then tossed in the caltrops. He was hoping that they would not notice as they prepared to leave the compound. If they did not notice the door opening he should be able to get a couple of shots off with bow before they can advance on him. The caltrops are there to slow them down as he begins to launch arrows at them.

Carson pulls out his bow and lines up a shot on the goblin the is holding the red tassled dog slicer.

Shotbow: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 6

Seeing the PCs, the goblins shout excitedly.

The bomber screams loudest, points at the gate and the dog charges forward.

One goblin grabs its bow, one rushes forward with a dogslicer and the bomber drinks from a small bottle and disappears!

I described it earlier to Carson, forgot about everyone else, the door is made of battered old tower shields nailed together and is crudely constructed. A padlock on a chain still swings from it, although the lock itself is agape.
