            Right, gold it is.
It is also now time for Astra to exit stage left until such time as Adam Warnock decides to return to Paizonia.
So... what do you all think, should we recuit another player or carry on as a four?

As with most adventures, a rogue/skill-monkey is not completely essential but will definitely help with quite a few encounters, especially at lower levels.

I wouldn't be opposed to another. I can technically do the lockpicking thing, and next level I do get Trapfinding. I just have to contend with ACP applying to Disable Device (which I find rather annoying tbh, but dem's da rules). I plan to switch to a light shield as soon as I can afford it anyway (twf penalties and all), so that'll help abit.

            Elberion,
Daxius currently has the following War Domain Granted Power:
Battle Rage (Sp): You can touch a creature as a standard action to give it a bonus on melee damage rolls equal to 1/2 your cleric level for 1 round (minimum +1). You can do so a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Wisdom modifier.
I just noticed that the Tactics subdomain is an option for Inquisitors, and I think it fits the character better. (details below) It's also a more useful Domain Power. Would it be OK if I swapped? I've only used the Battle Rage Power once.
Tactics (Associated Domain: War)
Replacement Power: The following granted power replaces the battle rage power of the War domain.
Seize the Initiative (Su): Whenever you and your allies roll for initiative, you can grant one ally within 30 feet the ability to roll twice and take either result.
This decision is made before results are revealed. You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Wisdom modifier.
Thanks,
Chuck

I'm fine with that, you've only used your battle rage power once anyway and we can just say you had an inspiring word in the young chap's ear.

Right, decision made to continue with 4 characters. You've got a really versatile bunch of chracters so I'm sure you can handle it.

Sorry for the slight pause in posting, I'm applying for a new job and I need to re-read some stuff for the adventure... I should have time at the weekend but until then it's just IC chat and choosing a name and disguise/uniform/calling-card.

I think Daxius was waiting on an answer from Sclavo, but that can wait until we get our sartorial matters resolved. Being anti-Asmodean Chelaxians, I think we'll skip the whole "Red, the blood of angry men/Black, the dark of ages past" color scheme, though. People might get the wrong ideas.

Sounds good, and Pontia can use prestidigitation to change their color after we ride off into the night after a no-doubt daring adventure and narrow escape, laughing merrily at the antics of the Hellknights as they attempt to follow. Or something like that; I'm afraid that at least some of our escapes are going to involve the sewers again.
Which reminds me--half-masks or scarves over our mouths would be a good idea. Also gold?

Golden armbands and face-scarves appears to be winning in the calling-card+disguise stakes. Is that right?

Right, adventure-writing done (fingers crossed)... I'll ease you back into it and then we can blow-up-the-moon on the 14th when Daxius and Nicolai will be back with us.
Sorry for the unreasonable delay.

Just giving you a heads-up that at the end of this month (July 31), I'll be leaving town for two weeks for work. I don't know the status of an available internet connection while I'll be gone, or how much free time I'll have, but I'll post as able.
After that, I'll only be back for a day before heading to Gencon afterwards, getting back home late the 19th. So between those two dates I'll be sporadic at best, possibly unavailable. Sorry for any inconveniences this may impose.

As pointed out in the other thread, we should get our loot sorted out so we can buy equipment. Are we all in agreement over selling the cap? It looks like we can get 500 gp for it. Is that all the valuable loot we got? I have to admit I haven't been following our treasure very carefully.
On the subject of loot, do we have any volunteers to track it?
Daxius needs a bow, and that's about it.

            It's on.
Actually, I'd like to change from the long bow to a composite short bow with the +2 strength on damage, if I may. Same price.
Unfortunately not: Each point of Strength bonus granted by the bow adds 75 gp to its cost.
So, a +2 comosite shortbow costs 225gp.

Thieve's tools 30gp
Light Spiked Shield 19gpAnd can I sell the Heavy shield for 10gp? Unless someone wants it that is.
EDIT: Er 15gp, because it's spiked.
Sounds good.
