Finishing her ale, Ana turned to the Druidess, "So what is it you do? Outside Goblin killing of course."
"I spend a lot of time in the wilds myself actually, though mostly among plants." Xeni replies. "Usually when I come into town I bring herbs and things that are hard to come by around here."
"Interesting, perhaps you could give me a lesson the herbal arts? I get confused between different ones on occasion."
"Sure. If you dabble with wild plants it's good to know what will help, what will kill... and in some cases what makes the difference." Xeni replies to the huntswoman.
Finishing her Ale, Ana replied, "I look forward to that."
Seeing the couple return, she couldn't help but ask, "Have a nice walk?"
She nods, "Yeah, I think it helped. That ale stuff might be a bit stout for me. I'm really not used to it." She says while sitting down. Maybe she would have a nice cup of tea before bed.
"It is a bit of an acquired taste."
Looking up at Bairn she smiles, "Eh...that's okay. I think that's one taste I don't really need to acquire. I don't have to experience absolutely everything life has to offer. I'll probably just stick to hot tea or some other beverage from now on."
"I'm going to head to bed now," Bairn says. "Good night, ladies."
He walks off toward his room.
Ameiko returns to the table. "Something else you need?"
She nods, "Okay Bairn, rest well." When Ameiko returns to the table she looks up at her, "Could I just maybe have a cup of hot tea before I turn in? I think I'm gonna have to give up on that other stuff."
Ameiko smiles. "Sure."
She looks to Ana and Xeni. "Anything else for you two?"
"I think I'm good for the night." Xani replies with a yawn.
Looking at Xeni and Ana she says, "If you two are tired, I'll be okay by myself."
"I could use another ale, thanks."
Lilla just sighs and shakes her head as she sits at the table with the other girls.
Ameiko returns with Lilla and Ana's drinks. Most of the patrons begin clearing out at this point.
Lilla thanks Ameiko before sipping on her tea. Looking up at Ana she says, "Ana....do you ever think that maybe you might be drinking a little much sometimes?"
Finishing her ale in one go, she turned to Lilla, "Numai în oraș. Dar mă străduiesc să nu mă îmbăt."
She seems to think for a bit, "I guess I just don't understand why you like to do it then? What does it do for you? Maybe I just don't get it because it's not really for me. I guess that's just how some people relax. Uncle Nico used to like to relax....a lot, but then he never really made much sense. I've only had a little wine every now and then, on special occasions...but I've never really liked the taste of it and after seeing how it affected him....well, I just didn't want to go around sounding like a simpleton or have my senses dulled." She looks down into her tea cup, "Sorry...sometimes I don't know when to shut up." She takes a few larger sips of her tea since it had started to cool slightly.
Anazaliana reached over and put a comforting hand on Lilla's, "Este pentru că în orașe este când vin coșmarurile. Nu sunt sigur de ce. Am descoperit că având unul sau doi aleși înaintea patului îi ține la loc."
She nods, "Ahhh...I see. I'm sorry for bringing it up then. I don't know your story, and I shouldn't have said anything." She finishes the rest of her tea in reflective silence. She didn't mean to bring up anything painful. She looks over at Xeni after a few munutes, "Is there anyg kind of drink that you like for any certain reason? I know there's other stuff besides ale and other alcohol. I'm sorry...I'm doing it again aren't I?"
"Tea is good, or the juice of different fruit." Xeni replies. "And no, you're not "doing" anything. Some people are more talkative or personable than others, that's all. Nothing wrong with it. "
She nods, "This tea stuff that Ameiko makes is pretty good, and it's relaxing in it's own way. I guess I don't really need that other stuff. " She kind of looks down while twirling some hair between her fingers, "Thanks Xeni, sometimes I just think I talk too much. I'm pretty sure I was always this way though. I was far too curious about things to be happy if I had stayed with the caravan."
Xeni smiles. "There's nothing wrong with curiosity, it's the best way to learn things."
The druidess yawns again. "I think I'm going to turn in, I usually wake up rather early. See you in the morning." she says heading up to her room.
Lilla stretches and yawns, "Ooohhh...me too. I'm completely worn out and ready for bed. Goodnight girls, I'll see you tomorrow." Standing up, she stretches and yawns again before heading to her room. After taking care of her more personal needs, she strips out of her clothing and crawls under the covers. After a few minutes of tossing and turning, Lilla settles into a peaceful rest.
Ana looked at her mug and debated. After a few minutes, she left a couple gold on the table for a tip and headed to bed.
Your night passes uneventfully.
Having awakened at dawn, Xeni greets the rising sun sitting atop her bed as the light streams through her open window, the air and sunlight coursing over her skin as she embraces the day, reaching out to commune with the natural world.
