Lilla tilts her head to the side slightly and regards Ana a little curiously, "I'm not sure I know what you mean...." She says looking down at her hands, "I don't have any paws." The meaning of her new companions words escaping her at the moment.

Ana reached into her pouch, pulled out a gold piece, and placed it on the table.

Turning to Lilla, she then glanced at the young woman's rapier, and smiled.

Following Ana's eyes to her weapon she nods in understanding, "Ohhhh....yeah, I guess there is that." She says before giggling.

Ameiko drops off another ale in front on Ana before going on her way.

Putting another gold piece on the table as a tip, the Half-Orc stood up, "Alright, I believe we should head to one of the two locations we fought them at. From there, I should be able to track them back to their entry point. How does that sound?"

"Well, the North Gate is the closest point they could have gotten in from," Bairn says.

She looks at Bairn and shrugs her shoulders, "Sure, fine...whatever. You're the one that seems able to track them, so we'll go back to the square and start there and see where it leads."

I'll wait and see if Xeni has anything to add.

If not, I'll move this along tomorrow. Provided the site doesn't fail.

"I suppose that would work." Xeni says with a shrug. The huntress seemed insistent on hunting goblins her way, and as long as it didn't put the townsfolk in danger that was fine.

You make your way out of the Rusty Dragon and onto the main streets. As soon as you do, a crowd begins to form around you. They cheer for you loudly and a woman approaches Xeni with a loaf of fresh baked bread. "You look like you could use some more food, dearie."

Not really used to this much attention she sort of shrinks back a bit behind Bairn and Ana.

Bairn tries to make a path for the group through the small crowd. "Excuse us."

The crowd reluctantly parts and you're able to head up the main road again. As soon as you pass Ven Vinder's shop, his daughter, Shayliss, runs up to Bairn. "Oh, you're so strong...Could you help me with a little problem? There are some rats in the basement that need killing. Could you help me with that?"

She pays little attention to Lilla, Ana and Xeni. Her eyes are completely focused on Bairn.

Ana is unsure of the woman's intentions as she laughs off Lilla's threat. She wraps an arm around one of Bairn's. "Oh, it wouldn't take long to solve my problem. My father has just been so busy, he hasn't been able to deal with those filthy beasts."

If your rats are still a problem when we're done dealing with this immediate threat, then we will all come back here and help you deal with them." She says with a forced smile.

Shayliss folds her arms, pushing up her ample bosom that was already barely covered. "Fine, but I'm sure only one of you need come along."

She bats her eyelashes at Bairn. "Please don't forget to come back."

She spins on her heels and walks back into the store.

She sighs, "Yeah...I know. Girls like that just piss me off and rub me the wrong way. All I know is, if she puts her hands on him again...I'm totally gonna beat her ass, and not in a way that she'd like either. Okay...need to focus on our actual problem and stop thinking about the town slut." She says as they get to where they fought the goblins. It's easy to tell that the woman had gotten under Lilla's skin, but she tries to concentrate on their current situation and forget about it.

This woman at a gas station one time, put her hand on Henry's arm and was leaning into him flirting and I nearly went off on her. Henry as usual was oblivious so I had to make certain she understood that he was not up for grabs. It was apparently someone he used to work with and stuff, but I didn't find that out till after the fact. All I knew was some woman had her hands on something that did NOT belong to her and I was pissed. I asked her who she was and then she asked me who I was and I looked her in the eye and said, "I'm his wife." I think I might have growled a little bit too, but she let go of him and took off real fast. I'm pretty sure she knew she was about to have her ass handed to her.

I guess this situation just reminded me of that. Not that I'm saying Bairn belongs to me specifically or anything...it just upset me when I saw her pawing him, kinda like it upset him when he saw that noble fawning over me.

"Uhm...I....thank you!?" Xeni manages taking the bread from the woman and savoring the fresh baked smell. She was still pretty unaccustomed to being around large groups of people at once.

She turns as Shayliss comes running up to Bairn, the druidess understanding of animal instinct and behavior serving her well.

Yeah I was wondering why, with no idea what she wanted with that sense motive roll, Lilla went straight to "that slut". lol

It was pretty easy actually. The second she started getting all...well you know, not to mention the touching and flouncing her breasts everywhere. Plus...earlier in the thread if you look back, you'll see that Lilla, while going around the town beforehand had already heard stories about her, so I kinda already knew. It happened before too when we went in the store after the attack. She was there and I saw her poking out of a room staring at Bairn. So, my hackles were already "up", so to speak.
