Ana tilted her head towards Xeni, "Perhaps she could come with me. She looks like she knows how to search for signs of movement in natural terrain."
Turning to the woman, "How about it? Care to give me a hand?"
She shakes her head while stepping up to Ana and looking up into her face, "You don't seem to be hearing me. I said, we're NOT separating. It's not safe, I don't care who goes with you. Either we all go, or none of us do. Period." She might be really good at fighting gobblins, but it was obvious to Lilla that Ana had about all the common sense of a goose.
Looking directly into Lilia's eyes, Ana had to suppress the urge to punch her in the face. But only for a second as the urge passed as quickly as it came. "Fine, we'll do it your way."
For now. Wait, where did that come from?
Quickly, she added, "I'm sorry, that was rude. Sometimes my mother's half overtakes my common sense before I can wrangle it in."
Sighing she places a hand on the half orc's arm to take the sting out of her words, "Look, I know you're just trying to help...but we have no idea what's out there and I just want everyone to stay safe, and the way we do that is by sticking together. Okay? If you'll lead, we'll follow. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to sound so....mean earlier. I was just worried about you is all. Come on, let's keep moving." She says, giving Ana's arm a little pat before taking her hand away.
Bairn sighs at the temporary breakdown of the group. "Yes, let's get out of here. I'm not fond of cemeteries really."
Walking next to Bairn she gives him a smile, "Don't worry, everything is fine." She stays close to Ana as they make their way around the perimeter, but not too close so that Ana wouldn't feel like Lilla was suffocating her or anything. She didn't mean to upset her, but she wasn't going to let anyone do anything that might get them hurt or worse. She would have reacted exactly the same way if one of the others had said the same thing.
She shakes her head and tries to stay focused on the task at hand as they make their way around the outside of the town. Lilla tries to keep her thoughts at bay while looking out for signs of trouble.
Xeni watches with interest, as the somewhat heated exchange diffuses. As they continue along she keeps an eye out for anything unusual.
As they walked around the perimeter of Sandpoint, the Half-Orc looked intently for any signs of disruption on the ground, most notibly, the ones made by goblins.
The group's investigation of the town's perimeter yields nothing. It is around two in the afternoon by the time you finish.
"Well, at least we know they can't sneak back into the town through the wall or anything. I'm feeling pretty hungry now, is anyone else feeling like getting some lunch?"
Bairn nods. "Sounds good."
"That sounds like a good idea!" Xeni agrees.
She looks at Ana, "How bout it? Want to come eat with us? We can figure out what to do next while we're having lunch. Totally up to you though." She says, giving her a smile. Maybe Ana just needed some friends that cared about what happened to her.
She looks at the half orc, "Hey, did you hear me Ana? I asked if you wanted to come have lunch with us."
The Half-Orc looked up from the ground, "Hmm, sorry lost in thought. Sure, I can eat."
Lilla gives her a smile, "It's okay, I know you're disappointed that our search didn't yield any results, but we can figure out what to do next after we've had a bite to eat. Some food will make things look better." Shed says as they head back to town.
So, after getting back to town, they all head for the rusty dragon to get something to eat, and figure out what to do next.
Upon arrival at the Rusty Dragon, you see Aldern sitting at a table. He positively beams as you walk in. "Ah, there you are."
She tries not to sigh as she approaches him with the others, "Yes, sorry if we kept you waiting. We needed to make sure there weren't any more beasties lurking about the area and we wanted to make sure there weren't any places in the wall that they could use to sneak back through and get into the town....but we didn't see anything, so we came back to get something to eat since we are all hungry now. So, what did you want to see us about?" She explains while staying close to the others.
"I was going to head back to Magnimar in a few days and was curious if you would like to go on a boar hunt," Aldern answers. "I'll be more than happy to supply you."
She looks at the others before looking back at him, "I don't know that I could give you an answer right at this moment. We'll need to talk about it as a group, I want to make sure the town is safe before we go anywhere."
Bairn shrugs. "I think I need some food before I decide."
She nods, "Yeah, me too. I make better decisions when my stomach isn't growling at me."
"Order whatever you like," Aldern says. "My treat."
Looking at the others she gives a nod before sitting on the other side of the table from him. She waits for the others to sit down, "Thank you, that's very generous of you and we appreciate it."
Oooo, a boar hunt. Haven't been on one of those in a while. Ana thinks with a slight grin.
"I'd like to go on the hunt, but doing so on an empty stomach is most certainly not a good idea," She says as she takes her seat.
Bairn sits down and waves Ameiko over. "What do you have for lunch today?"
"I've got some glazed salmon, rice and vegetables," Ameiko answers.
"Sounds delicious," Bairn says. "I'll have some of that and some juice."
She nods in agreement with Bairn, "I'll have the exact same thing."
"That does sound very good, I'll have that as well." Xeni replies.
Ana thought for a minute, it had been some time since she had fish, "You know what, I'll have some too."
She laughs lightly, "So, I guess that's gonna be four lunch specials, three juice, and an ale for Ana...unless you want something different to drink Ana?" She asks the half orc.
"Ale is fine."
Looking back at Ameiko she smiles, "Sounds like that'll do it for us then."
Ameiko nods and turns to Aldern. "Anything for you?"
He shakes his head. "No, I'm quite alright, thanks."
Ameiko smiles and heads to the kitchen. She returns with everyone's drinks before bringing their food.
Xeni watches Aldern closely, trying to discern the point to all of this.
Aside from making a few yummy noises as she eats, Lilla doesn't say much as she enjoys the meal.
Xeni is fairly sure that Aldern simply has an earnest interest in the group for their heroic deeds yesterday.

Bairn commits to his food, not paying much attention to Aldern.
Xeni proceeds to enjoy her meal.
Getting about halfway through her meal she pauses briefly while drinking some of her juice to wash down the delicious food. Looking up at the others she says thoughtfully, "Maybe a boar hunt wouldn't be such a bad idea. It would help us hone some of our skills, and I think ribs would be really tasty." She smiles before happily going back to her meal.
Aldern gives Lilla an eager smile. "Great! I'm glad you fancy the idea."
Bairn raises an eyebrow as he eats.
