Xeni grins, watching the interplay between the pair.
Anazaliana watched the two of them as she ate her dinner. They should just rut and get it over with.
After swallowing her latest bite, and swig of ale, she offered, "If you're worried about getting going alone, I could go with you."
Lilla gives Ana the look, before getting a pouty look on her face and directing her attention at Bairn, "Only if Bairn really doesn't feel like going with me." She says while batting her eyelashes at him. It's apparent by the glassy look to her eyes that she's just slightly tipsy.
"Maybe you should lay off the ale, Lilla," Bairn says. "If you're that set on me going with you, I will."
"I only had one." She pouts.
Bairn chuckles. "And it seems like that was more than enough. Let me get you some water."
He gets up and goes to the kitchen.
She nods, and then instantly regrets it as she starts feeling dizzy. Wiping her mouth after finishing her stew, she twirls some hair around her finger. Looking up at Ana and Xeni she asks, "One's not bad right?"
Ana smirked, "Depends on your tolerance."
Lilla just sticks her tongue out at Ana as she waits for Bairn to get back. She didn't know why she felt this little thrill at the thought of walking with him, she just did.
Bairn returns with a tankard of water. "Here you go."
He sits down once more to give Lilla time to sober up.
Lilla takes the water and sips on it slowly, "Thank you."
"Ready to go?" Bairn asks after Lilla finishes her water.
She nods, "Yep."
Bairn stands up and offers his hand to Lilla. He looks to Ana and Xeni. "If we're not back in an hour, you might want to search for us."
She takes Bairn's hand and stands up, "Oh you worry too much. We'll be back."
"If goblins can get into town unnoticed, I don't think I'm worrying too much," Bairn says.
She kind of shrugs, "Okay okay, you can go ahead and worry. If something bothers us...I'll just stab it." Lilla then giggles before getting herself under control and giving him an innocent smile.
"Where would you like to go?" Bairn asks Lilla.
"As long as we stay away from that tramps house, I don't really care where we go. Probably shouldn't wander too far away though." She says after a moment of thought.
Bairn stands up and offers his hand to Lilla. He looks to Ana and Xeni. "If we're not back in an hour, you might want to search for us."
"We definitely will." Xeni says, the smile waning at the thought.
Ana waited until the two were gone before turning to the Druid, "Maybe give them an extra fifteen minutes? You know, in case they're not done yet."

Xeni rolls her eyes at the half Ford's crude attempt at humor. "I'm sure nature will takes it's course in it's own time if they are so inclined." the druidess says calmly, "Though you do know there are people who can interact without immediately rutting like animals....which ironically even animals don't do."
"I suppose you have a point. Maybe I'm reading her wrong, I am a bit rusty in interacting with people. Been hunting for the past year or two."
As they walk through town together she continues to hold his hand as she takes a few breaths of the night air and lets them out slowly. Letting out a little sigh she says, "The air seems to be helping a little. I'm sorry if I got a little strange, I guess I don't have a high tolerance for that stuff. I just thought it would help me relax after what we went through today."
"It's probably better that you don't develop a taste for the stuff," Bairn says as they walk down Market Street past an old manor and the theatre.
She kind of shrugs, "You're probably right. I only ever had a half glass of wine when my family celebrated my birthday, but I didn't remember it doing this to me."
Bairn laughs. "You don't need to experience everything life has to offer."
She looks at him and smiles, "Yeah...I know. Okay, so I'll lay off the sauce. Ya know...this town is actually pretty quaint. Goblins and grave robbers aside of course."
"It's quieter than Magnimar," Bairn says. "I'm grateful for that, at least."
She nods, "I kind of like not picking up camp every day or two and constantly moving around. It just...it really wasn't for me."
The bard nods. "I can imagine. It's nice knowing where your bed is."
She kind of laughs a little, "It's also nice not having to share it with two or three younger siblings."
Bairn smiles. "I can only assume so."
After a bit more walking, Bairn turns towards the tavern. "Ready to head back?"
Lilla nods as she heads back towards the tavern with Bairn, "So, you don't have any siblings?" She asks, taking his hand as they walk back together.
Bairn shakes his head. "Romances between humans and elves don't last long around these parts."
She shakes her head, "Well..that kind of sucks. Why don't they?" She asks, her curiosity piqued.
"Racism," Bairn answers bluntly.

She stops and looks at him, "I'm sorry that people are so stupid. If...if I had feelings for someone, I wouldn't care what other people said or did, I wouldn't let them stop me...and anyone who tried to hurt the one I loved...would get stabbed horribly." She says, making a thrusting motion with her free arm to demonstrate her meaning since she was still holding his hand with her other one.
Bairn chuckles. "Have you had to do that before?"
She shakes her head, "I haven't been in a position to do so....yet. I just...I know I would never let someone tell me who I could love."
"Fair enough," Bairn says as they return to the Rusty Dragon. "Did the walk help?"
She looks up and smiles at him before nodding, "Yeah, it did. Thanks for going with me."
Bairn returns the smile. "I'll probably consider doing it again. Let's go see what the others are up to."
He opens the door to the tavern and holds it for Lilla.
Lilla blushes as they walk into the tavern.
