t. Putting her older and more worn bottoms in her bag she walks back outg to the others. Giving a turn she asks them, "Does this look alright?" Keeping the scarf on her head, adds a bit of color to the outfit.
"That works." Xeni answers with a smile. " No worry about showing off anything you don't mean to now."
"I think they know better than to come in here looking for trouble." she says with a grin.
Anazaliana
Ana takes the key with a nod. Him, maybe I don't need to stay with Jubrayl. At least, for the next week. She thought to herself. He still had tasks for her though, which she was at least obliged to consider as he was 'family' after all.
Lilla Rosetti
No, he's a criminal and one that is going to get you into a lot of trouble. I guess we're going to have to deal with him next. We got rid of one problem for the town, I guess it's time to clean up the rest of the town.
Lilla Rosetti
She gets a look of remembrance on her face and jumps up out of her seat, "Oh, I almost forgot something." Excusing herself, she runs up to her room and gets the pie.
Coming downstairs with it she takes thed pie over to Ameiko, "Is there any way you can warm this up for us? I got it from the Vinders earlier, and would like to share it with my friends. You could have a piece too if you want Ms. Ameiko, I think it's apple." She says as she nearly salivates at the thought of the yummy dessert.
Lilla Rosetti
She kind of sighs, "Well, I'm glad that it didn't turn out any worse than it did....but I don't think it's a coincidence that they just happened to turn up during the ceremony. Now that the goblins have been taken care of, there's other things that should be looked into. I'm not gonna feel comfortable leaving this place until I know it's safe."
Anazaliana
Anazaliana chimed in at this point, "If these are the same ones I was tracking for the past couple weeks, then we should be good. I lost there trail about two days north of here, but there was no indication here was where they were headed. Otherwise, I'd have warned someone in authority."
Lilla Rosetti
She smiles at the half orc, "I'm sure you would have, but this town has more problems than just goblins. I'm sure there are some less than honest people in this town that would use the fear this invasion created to take advantage of others. I've heard some things about some certain slimy and less than reputable people in this town that have been giving them problems for a while. Goblins are too stupid to be that organized, unless someone else is directing them. I think I'll just go have a little talk with the sheriff and see what we can do about rooting the other evil out of this town, once and for all. Of course I'll wait till after dessert, and give him a chance to deal with whatever he needs to deal with after that invasion earlier." She sighs, "I could be wrong, but my gut tells me that the goblins weren't acting solely on their own. That was more than one tribe Ana...that's just not normal behavior for them and makes me very suspicious. You have no way of knowing if these were the same ones because there were way too many of them and I'm not gonna wait until it happens again to try and figure it out. I just....I don't like it." She was like a stubborn dog with a bone and it was obvious that she was not going to let this go and she was dead set against anyone using this situation to their advantage. She came from a long line of merchant families, and while some of them might have been on less than the up and up, none of them were downright criminals.
Anazaliana
"Goblins are smarter than you give them credit for. I've studied these wide-heads all my life, and believe me, there are some crafty chieftains out there that organize better than you think."
Lilla Rosetti
"I seriously doubt that. Not a full on war party consisting of several different tribes. They're not usually that good at cooperation. I'm sure the sheriff will have some useful information about the activities going on in this town." Narrowing her eyes somewhat she says, "And there are people that would take advantage of the townspeople's fear, I'm just not willing to sit back and let it happen." Cocking her head to the side to study the young woman she asks, "Is there a reason you're trying to talk me out of going to talk to the Sheriff?"
Lilla Rosetti
She shakes her head as she tries to remember things she had heard from passing travelers and adventurers that had passed through their camp. She always liked hearing their stories, and she knew there were several different tribes of gobblins in the surrounding areas, but she thought that they mostly sought out weaker targets. Like lone farm houses, or small villages. It was really risky to take on such a large area with so many people, especially during a festival. That's what made it so suspicious to her.

It was difficult to recall specific stories related to this area though, since so many different had passed through their camps.
She looks to Bairn and Xeni, "Maybe I'm just being a silly naive country girl, or maybe not. What do you two think? Do you know much about the goblin tribes around here? Do you think they could plan something of this scale on their own?"

Bairn and Lilla both know that there is one tribe of goblins regarded as the most powerful in the region: the Thistletop Goblins. Bairn also knows that none of the five tribes would normally cooperate with each other and are known for their years of bickering amongst each other. This raid was an unusual occurrence in that goblins also don't plan for something of this scale.
Lilla Rosetti
She nods as Ameiko returns with the pie at Bairns knowledge of the different tribes and their habits, "That's what I was afraid of. Maybe tomorrow we can go to sheriff and see what he thinks? Maybe there's something we can do to help?"
Looking up at Ameiko as she brings them the pie and drinks she gives her a smile, "Thanks Ameiko, you want a piece too?"
Lilla Rosetti
She kind of sighs, "Yeah, him too I suppose."
Her facial expression brightens considerably as she bites into the delicious pastry, "Oh my gosh! This is soooo good!" She exclaims after taking her first bite.
Lilla Rosetti
As she's eating her pie she looks around to see if she can catch a glimpse of the man they saved earlier. She really wasn't looking forward to being fawned over again, but any information was likely to be useful and as long as he didn't try putting his hands on her, everything would be alright. She figured they would have to go after the rest of the goblins as well, or at least try to figure out who else was involved in this since it was obvious that they didn't act on their own.
Lilla Rosetti
Dragged out of her own thoughts by Ana's appreciation of the dark beverage she laughs, "Yeah, it's the little things...though I'm not sure I personally would like that drink with my pie. I'm glad you like it though. Soooo....I'm pretty sure there are gonna be more goblins that we need to go after, but that can wait until we have a better idea of what's going on around here and just take tonight to relax and recharge. This pie is really really helping with that." She says with a happy sigh.
Lilla Rosetti
She nods at Ameiko, "Okay, you have a good night too."
Finishing her pie as well she wipes her mouth with a napkin before giving Bairn a smile, "Alright, hope you rest well. I'll probably be heading there soon as well. I'm still a little sore from earlier. I'll see you in the morning." She looks around to see if the noble they saved earlier is around anywhere. She's rather get it over with sooner than later.
Lilla Rosetti
Sighing she just sits there for a little bit to let the pie digest. She supposed she would have to deal with him tomorrow after all. Maybe she would wait for Ameiko to come back around and get a drink for herself before bed.
Xeni Blackthorn
Xeni sits quietly listening to the conversation as she eats in silence, but can't think to add to what Bairn knows. As the others begin turning in she decides to do likewise. "Goodnight, everyone. I think I'll be turning in as well. I'll see you all in the morning."
She gets up giving her companions a smile. "Thank you again for the room Ameiko."

Despite their different points of view, Ana couldn't help but like Lilla, she may looked petite, but she was firy and didn't back down. Finishing her drink, the Half-Orc stretched and yawned, "Guess I'd best be getting to bed. Hopefully I'm not too sore in the morning."
Lilla Rosetti
She kind of shrugs, "I don't know...would I want to get drunk? I mean...I'm down here alone, so if I get drunk....will I be able to get back to my room?" She asks, never having really drank before she didn't know what being drunk would do, or what it even was. She wondered if it was like what her Uncle Nino used to do when he'd had a bottle of wine and being loud and obnoxious.
Lilla Rosetti
She looks up and gives her a smile, "Okay, is ale a good breakfast drink? I know you're probably right about the alcohol, but it tasted kinda good...but I know I don't need it all the time. I guess just having something to help me relax and sleep is fine." She says, taking the tea and sipping on it slowly.
Lilla Rosetti
She shakes her head, "Oh no....I don't want to be that. Uncle Nino would always drink a bottle of wine...with almost every meal and I don't think anyone could hardly ever understand him. He mostly made crude comments to my sisters and cussed....a lot. I don't want to be like that, or smell like that. Maybe just one drink once in a while is okay, but not all the time...and not for breakfast. Thanks Ameiko, my parent's were okay with me leaving them...but they didn't really talk to me about "things". I guess they thought that if I wanted to be on my own, that I had to learn life stuff for myself." She says with a shrug while sipping on her tea, "This is very good. Thank you for making it for me."
