Thanks! I can see the map now, but I cannot move the Rommin icon. I was just going to shift it between Judah and Valai to keep them from being rushed from inside, and to keep visibility outside in case someone tries to flank us.

Would I be possible to get a sort of summary of what's happened and what we are doing, updated every once in a while. If the DM posts it under the Campaign Info tab in the short description area, it will appear at the top of each page. The game had slowed down for a few weeks and then stopped for about 2 months, so it might help everyone sort of get back into things and remember better than rereading the past posts.

So I built Judah with the starting concept that he really has no control over his abilities. He'll eventually learn, but for now they just happen when his emotions run high.

So unless he's interrupted somehow, I'm planning on having him summon something that will attack the party. I'm doing this to establish some of the themes I'm exploring with the character, not to start inter-party conflict.

I wanted to mention it here before it happened in game in case anyone is super dead-set against fighting an extra CR 1/2 enemy.

Nope. Spells are only interrupted by failed concentration checks, which are caused by damage, pain or violent motion.

Judah doesn't consciously realize what he's doing, so just shaking him and telling him its alright isn't going to stop the effect.

The only remaining lead that you had, once Plutivarch was dead and you didn't have any others supposed slvaers to deal with, was to see Fenster the Blight. Kasadei gave you directions to the warehouse that he lives at.

As for spoilers I always do spoilers for information that should only pertain to one individual so that they can do what they want with that information. As noted here in the style guide section. :)

If anyone is at all interested, the Pathfinder Online Alpha opened yesterday. I jumped on as soon as I got the client downloaded and played for a couple of hours.

I livestreamed the playthrough on Twitch and archived the videos. I also did a highlight of some combat as a lot of the time was just running around exploring and playing around with things.

I will be livestreaming again tonight and any other opporunities I have if people want to check it out.

Looks good. Is this to try to speed the game up? That would be awesome. That's really my only complaint, but I'm otherwise loving it. My stats are correct in the DM rolls sections.

Yes that is the main objective to get things moving along a little faster. I know there were some serious slowdowns on my part but my hope is we can get back into the swing of things and move forward at a good pace. Like I said it's not because it is directly a problem here, just I wanted to set expectations for how I plan to handle things moving forward.

Looks good to me. The style guidelines will be nice to get everyone on the same page as far as posting format is concerned. Thanks for adding that.


I like it very much. I would like to make a few observations.

GM Rolls: I am great with this, even saving throws or AoOs if appropriate. I know some players can be superstitious (and I not judging, just observing), but it is not anything that's a concern for me.

I like the way you do initiative order. Would you consider something like italicize anyone who has gone already, or bold the people that are up? Or both?

And depending on how much time I have to post, I do try to be descriptive. A lot of times, I will either write a descriptive paragraph, and then break it down into actions and rolls later. Or, I'll write the descriptive paragraph and use out of text markers to detail the game terms of the actions. If you don't have a preference, I probably will end up switching back and forth between the two styles periodically.

And I have no problem with any of the other players calling for us. We've been playing together long enough that I trust their judgment. :)

Something I have begun to do in my games is to insert () after each person, and as they take damage, put a -3 or whatever in there. It gives an indication on how much a person has been hit (or healed) without giving away too much of enemies HP. It also helps players to keep track of how much they have taken, especially in larger fights where a lot of things are being rolled.

On the DM's side, I just copy the last one I posted and then add these things as I go.

So it might look like:

Germain (-2), Thugs (#1 -4) (#2) (#3 -1), Rest of Party
