Given how quickly Alathos and Salrann beat down the spawn, Eden does not need to cast any spells to assist them. However, for the vampire leader, she decides to act swiftly. After the Transmuter augments herself with magic, she mentally swaps out a prepared Flesh to Stone with Disintegrate, aims two fingers at her enemy, and fires a powerful green beam of destruction from their tips.
Using Perfection of Self as a swift action to boost my Dex to 22 for the round. Using Preferred Spell to spontaneously cast Disintegrate in place of Flesh to Stone.
SR: 1d20 + 16 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 16 + 4 + 2 = 29
Disintegrate against Vampire Queen Touch AC (Heroism): 1d20 + 8 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 8 + 6 + 2 = 32

Salrann will fire a sunbeam spell at her, assuming that her allies didn't already destroy her.

Chu'ko finishes his glitterdust casting and throws the area of effect spell onto the vampire....
Will save DC 18 vs blinding only...
SR does not apply....to being covered in glitter....
GM Choon
Oh crap. Forgot about the glitterdust save.
HP: 178
The vampire is able to resist being blinded, but the rays of re-death blast into her at full effect. Save for salraan's. Her's does nothing.
The Mistress screeches in pain and fury. You there, Snake! Go curl up somewhere and leave me alone! She commands.
Salraan, DC 28 will or be dominated and do as she says.
Party Up!

Unable to assist Salrann, Alathos looses another beam of light at the vampire.

I thought Eden had buffed us with this before we came in....
Chu'ko reads his scroll protection from evil, communal....
"General do you know this vampire? Will you attack her?
Salrann
Doesn't look like that was this fight, but that gives me another save!
Will: 1d20 + 17 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 17 + 2 = 26 Sigh. Yeah, I'm dominated. Ugh.
On her turn, Salrann will move to the corner of the room, curl up in a ball, and proceed to take a nap.
Eden Kenway
Seeing Salrann being knocked out of the fight so easily and recalling how a vampire (or was it a devil?) dominated her own mind back in the Tomb of the Iron Medusa, Eden decides to take no chances and casts Greater Invisibility on herself. Without a line of sight, the vampire will be unable to do much to her. From there, the Transmuter flies closer to the fight to assist Alathos by covering him with her protective anti-undead spell. Eden is not entirely sure if her Undeath Ward will hold against such a powerful vampire, but it is worth a shot.
Casting Greater Invisibility and flying closer to Alathos. Since I'm within ten feet, my Undeath Ward should also cover him. Caster Level is 16. Will Save would be 25.
Mindless undead and intelligent undead with fewer Hit Dice than your caster level cannot enter the area or penetrate the barrier. Undead of Hit Dice equal to or greater than your caster level can pass through this barrier by making a successful Will save against the spell, but as they do so, they take 3d6 points of damage. Once an undead creature makes its save against this spell and takes this damage, it can come and go without further penalty. This spell may only be used defensively, not aggressively. Forcing an undeath ward against creatures that the spell keeps at bay collapses the barrier.

"Eden, can you help Salrann? I'll distract this lady of the night. This pathetic wench will not be able to dominate my mind.
Alathos says this at the vampire in an obviously taunting manner.
Eden Kenway
"...Perhaps. The Magic Circle usually blocks this nonsense."
Eden looks over at Salrann and contemplates what she could do.
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 33 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 33 + 2 = 52 Can the dominate be dispelled?

Eden aims two fingers at Salrann and hurls the strongest bolt of anti-magic she can muster at the snake woman.
Casting Greater Dispel Magic: Targeted Dispel versus the Vampire Queen's Dominate Person. I'm only targeting that particular effect. Nothing else. DC is 11 plus Caster Level according to the Dispel Magic description.
Targeted Greater Dispel Magic versus the Dominate Person: 1d20 + 16 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 16 + 4 = 38 ...I think that should do it.

Alathos lands his second blow. This monster is formidable indeed!
The vampire spreads her bat-like wings and lifts off and back from Alathos (a 5-ft step up and back) and casts a spell, not at the party, but at Chu-ko's elemental! Protect me! she commands. The living furnace turns and steps between the man and the vamp. Balls of liquid fire that pass for hands assault him, but his reflexes are superior.
Across the room, Salraan feels her senses clear. She is herself again!
You no longer have a elemental buddy but you do have a Salraan. Party up!

Salrann breaks from her trance and moves toward the stupid vampire, hoping to wrap her up and keep her from casting again.
Grapple: 1d20 + 30 ⇒ (19) + 30 = 49 I REALLY hope that'll do it. LOL
Eden Kenway
"Chu'ko, can you dismiss your elemental?" Eden calls out. "We seem to have things handled."
No actions otherwise. Doesn't seem like I need to be wasting any spells.
GM Choon
The elemental winks out of existence. And the monster is scorched before being talked by a snake lady. The vamp looks around, still unfazed and pouts. An instant later she winks out of existence and appears at the far end of the room! She is now 130 feet away from her last position in the far corner if the room
Eden:it was a spell-like teleport. No somatics required
Party up!
Eden Kenway
Must have rolled a really good concentration check. Even if there are no somatics, being grappled by a giant snake woman would still be distracting.
Salrann
Salrann will cast communal air walk and touch Alathos, giving both herself and Alathos the benefit of the spell. "Go get her." She will then air walk forward 30 feet.
Eden Kenway
Any Knowledge checks I make for immunities and other defenses? I know that she's a Vampire, but I don't recall the last one having spell resistance.

Hmm... She resists the cold, but is not outright immune. It will be a bit of a gamble, but this spell could end it, Eden thinks, I better grab some Dweomer's Essence; I need to beat her spell resistance.
Eden reaches into one of her pouches and produces a handful of white powder. As she begins to cast her spell, it vanishes into nothing, greatly amping up the force of the magic. A second later, Eden conjures a prison of ice to hopefully trap the succubus vampire and defeat her for good.
Casting Icy Prison on the succubus vampire.

Eden Kenway
Well, at least the ice will slow her down, Eden grumbles in her mind as she drifts closer to the vampire succubus. Maybe second time's the charm?
Moving a bit closer to the battle. Casting Icy Prison again on the vampire succubus. DC 24 Reflex.
SR: 1d20 + 16 + 4 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 16 + 4 + 2 + 2 = 41
Even if Icy Prison didn't take, she would still be Entangled and take cold damage each round. I think it would be 6 after resistances, but I also seem to recall Vampires having fast healing.
The character is ensnared. Being entangled impedes movement, but does not entirely prevent it unless the bonds are anchored to an immobile object or tethered by an opposing force. An entangled creature moves at half speed, cannot run or charge, and takes a –2 penalty on all attack rolls and a –4 penalty to Dexterity. An entangled character who attempts to cast a spell must make a concentration check (DC 15 + spell level) or lose the spell.
