For the record, the wait to Sunday is killing me just as much as you guys, but I said I was giving until sunday for people to finish up, and I'm holding to my word.
Also for the record, I'm got the preliminary sorting up, and I'd like a heads-up if you make big changes to your characters, so I'll know to look over carefully a second time.
"You, why aren't you married yet?"
"I'm a free spirit?"
"Guilt trip him again... bring out his mother!"
"You know, I've always wanted grandchildren..."
"NOOO! You monsters!"
"Turn to the true path and it will all be over...."
GM, any areas that you'd prefer more info on? Or any glaring issues you'd want me to fix? Just want to make sure I give a good showing. And good luck to everyone!
I don't see any glaring issues up to now, your profile looks very solid.
It's going to be very hard to choose, I can tell you I've got more than six characters pretty much shoulder to shoulder at the finish line, and it's going to hurt to eliminate anyone from that pack.
This is always the hardest part of any PbP. the selection process is never easy and is made even harder by the quality of the applications. Good luck GM RR, and everyone else, and I'm sure that whoever is selected will have a wonderful time saving Korvosa.

Just an FYI. I'm going to be at my in-laws farm this weekend and won't be back until Sunday night. They are in rural Illinois, and by rural I mean AOL dial-up service rural.
oh, and I changed the ending of my post
@GM Do you need more information on the character? Are there any mistakes you noticed with the back-story or crunch? Is there anything you just don't like about the character? Please be as blunt as possible.
I know how he feels. I can never seem to make it to my original deadline when I've picked folks for APs in the past. You get so many good applicants it is almost impossible not to get excited about getting things going. Looking at the people who have applied I can tell that his choice will not be an easy one. I could make two awesome groups out of the folks who have applied. Heck, that is what I did with my last AP because I just couldn't decide! :)
After much consideration I’m going to make Krojun an assimar. The favored class bonus for assimar bards is really nice and I’m already a dual talent human so it seems like a natural fit. I’ll update the character sheet and add a little more to his history when I get home (~1.5 hours).
GM Rusty Rooster, is there anything in my submission that you have questions about, or that needs clarification? Anything you would like to see changed and/or removed? Please, let me know. It's only through someone else's critiques, a fresh set of eyes and all that, that a character's submission can be improved.
Nothing particularly strikes me as problematic in any of your profiles. No one made any gigantic mistakes that marked them as "unpickable", so as to speak.
