GM Bold Strider |

I don't know who you mean as Celes is unconscious, but Iralynash is the elf. I'll go with Iralynash since you are next to him.
Iralynash, trapped against the wall, pulls his gloved hand off his hammer and lashes out at the beast with the last of his energy.
Cestus: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
Damage: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
The clockwork servant lashes out at the elf with a similar viciousness.
Slam: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25
Damage: 1d4 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9
Initiative:
1st: Celes-Fatigued for 3 rounds @ 2/15 HP; Iralynash-Bleeding Out @ -9/10 HP
2nd: Clockwork Servant @ 29 damage (3 rounds)
3rd: Jebidiah @ 5/10 HP; Lukas @ 7/10 HP; Falzeal 7/10 HP

Lukas Kains |

He wasn't adjacent to Iralynash, however.
This is true, but it's a bit confusing because above you said he healed Iralynash. It makes sense that he would have healed Celes, though, given their positions.
Lukas once again strikes out at the construct, but narrowly misses smashing his fist against the stone floor.
Unarmed Strike, Flanka: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
Unarmed Strike damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
I think the dice roller might just TPK us...

Iralynash |

GM Bold Iralynash was at 0hp, last round when you bot him he went to -1 after attacking and passed out unconscious on the floor. Would the construct still have kicked him on the floor? He is no longer a threat.

GM Bold Strider |

That's true, Iralynash. I actually forgot that a standard action at 0 HP does that. However, the retcon for this is hitting another target instead of you.
Lukas 1 / Falzeal 2: 1d2 ⇒ 1
EDIT:
Iralynash slumps to the floor after lashing out at the beast, losing his status as a valid target. the beast lashes out at the individual who just kicked him, Lukas, knocking him unconscious.
Initiative:
1st: Celes-Fatigued for 3 rounds @ 2/15 HP; Iralynash-Bleeding Out @ -1/10 HP
2nd: Clockwork Servant @ 29 damage (3 rounds)
3rd: Jebidiah @ 5/10 HP; Lukas-Bleeding Out @ -2/10 HP; Falzeal 7/10 HP

Celes Rose |

Celes, breathing hard her eyes shoot open at the healing provided. She is still short of breath, her anger still built up in her system. She sees the construct, and knows if she gets up that she may well draw the ire of the metallic beast. She takes a swing with all her might, as tired as she may be.
2-H PA axe: 1d20 + 4 - 1 - 4 - 2 ⇒ (9) + 4 - 1 - 4 - 2 = 61d6 + 6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 6 + 3 = 15

Jebediah Lillywag |

Sorry about the confusion. I was of the conviction that 0hp meant unconcious. Which was the case for Iralynash. And it was my intent to heal him as normally a CLW wouldn't have brought Celes back anyhow.
There's not much Jebediah can do but he tries to stop those around him dying from passing the final gate.
All outta spells. Blackend curse and 8 STR means attacking is a waste of time... Cast stabilize on Lukas.

GM Bold Strider |

Celes grabs her weapon from the ground next to her and lashes out at the beast, but her aim is bit off from the blood and hair covering her eyes.
Jebidiah stabilizes Lukas as he doesn't know what else to do.
Initiative:
1st: Celes-Fatigued for 2 rounds @ 2/15 HP; Iralynash-Bleeding Out @ -1/10 HP
2nd: Clockwork Servant @ 29 damage (3 rounds)
3rd: Jebidiah @ 5/10 HP; Lukas @ -2/10 HP; Falzeal 7/10 HP

GM Bold Strider |

Falzeal steps back and fires off a blast of force magick into the face of the beast, trying to wittle it down slowly.
Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
The creature reanalyses its biggest threat. Bzzzt... Third threat neutralized. Bzzzt... First threat active. Must neutralize. Bzzzt...
Slam: 1d20 + 6 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 6 + 4 = 25
Damage: 1d4 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
The creature slams its fist into the prone Celes, knocking her out once more. It quickly readjusts itself back into an upright position and its arms whirls to face Falzeal and Jebidiah.
The creature looks close to falling over itself with several gizmos hanging off of each side.
Initiative:
1st: Celes-Bleeding Out/Fatigued (1 round) @ -8/15 HP; Iralynash @ -1/10 HP
2nd: Clockwork Servant @ 32 damage (4 rounds)
3rd: Jebidiah @ 5/10 HP; Falzeal 7/10 HP; Lukas @ -2/10 HP

Jebediah Lillywag |

Cast stabilize on Celes and 5ft step forward blocking the path to felazel.
Jebediah looks to keep Celes alive and steps forward bravely brandishing his dagger in the hopes the construct will perceive him as a threat and leave Felazel alone.

GM Bold Strider |

Falzeal blasts the clockwork creature with another blast of arcane energy. It drills a hole through the beast's largest gear, but small nanites repair the damage almost immediately. The creature slumps forward almost as if it deactivated.
Jebidiah steps towards the creature and stabilizes Celes so she doesn't die from massive blood loss.
The giant key floating in the corner comes over to the robot and inserts itself into the back of the beast.
Twist, twist, twist... As the key turns, the abrasions and blasts cause by the party on the clockwork servant seem to disappear. 1d10 ⇒ 4
Initiative:
1st: Celes @ -8/15 HP; Iralynash @ -1/10 HP
2nd: Clockwork Servant @ 30 damage (5 rounds)
3rd: Jebidiah @ 5/10 HP; Falzeal 7/10 HP; Lukas @ -2/10 HP
Hint: You should run. The original Bold Strider faltered here too.

Lukas Kains |

How do we run with 3/5 of the party unconscious?

Lukas Kains |

I didn't ask why we'd run, I asked how. We have two people conscious and three down, so I don't know how they'd get all of the unconscious people out. Unless when you say 'cut your losses' you mean only have two of the party members survive...

Lukas Kains |

FYI - unless they've been used up without being crossed off character sheets, Iral has two CLW extracts, and Falzeal and Celes each have a potion of CLW. If we could get even one of us healed, we might all be able to get out of here.

GM Bold Strider |

Falzeal blasts the creature with force energy once more as he draws a potion from his pack. A small clockwork gear tumbles out of the creature and bounces off the stonework floor.
Initiative:
1st: Celes @ -8/15 HP; Iralynash @ -1/10 HP
2nd: Clockwork Servant @ 33 damage (5 rounds)
3rd: Jebidiah @ 5/10 HP; Falzeal 7/10 HP; Lukas @ -2/10 HP

GM Bold Strider |

The key finishes spinning in the back of the construct and most of the damage caused by Falzeal's most recent force blast is reconstructed in front of Jeb and Falzeal's eyes.
The construct's eyes whir back into place and focus on the tiny divine halfling before sending its metal arm deep into the chest of the intruder.
Slam: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26
Slam Confirmation: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9 Whew...
Jebidiah avoids death narrowly, but is knocked unconscious by the attack.
Damage: 1d4 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
Initiative:
1st: Celes @ -8/15 HP; Iralynash @ -1/10 HP
2nd: Clockwork Servant @ 33 damage (6 rounds)
3rd: Jebidiah-Bleeding Out @ -5/10 HP; Falzeal 7/10 HP; Lukas @ -2/10 HP

GM Bold Strider |

As this has been brought up by two individuals, I will explain this for everyone.
This creature has 31 HP. It is a standard Clockwork Servant that can be found on the PFSRD.
It has an ability to heal itself 1d10 damage as a standard action, which was done once and the total damage healed was subtracted off of the damage total listed.
It also has Fast Healing 2. I have not been subtracting this amount off of the damage total each round but merely keeping track of the # of rounds it would have healed with this ability. The idea behind keeping it separate was to reduce Out-of-Character knowledge, but it has just seemed to confuse people.
The current HP total of the clockwork creature is 21/31 HP. At no point has this creature hit 31 damage.
Any questions?

GM Bold Strider |

The key bobs up and down before floating back into the clockwork creature. The key spins rapidly. 1d10 ⇒ 1
The creature's eyes brighten as a small amount of damage inflicted to the construct is reconstructed. You have twelve seconds to leave the premises before you will be terminated... Bzzzt... Any acts of violence will be met with extreme prejudice... Bzzzt...
Initiative:
1st: Celes @ -8/15 HP; Iralynash @ 5/10 HP
2nd: Clockwork Servant @ 18 damage
3rd: Jebidiah-Bleeding Out @ -5/10 HP; Falzeal 7/10 HP; Lukas @ -2/10 HP

Lukas Kains |

12 seconds! Let's get out of here! Iral and Falzeal should each be able to get one person out this round and have the second round to get the last person out. Then we hole up in the hallway, patch up, maybe even rest there before we try to go anywhere?

Lukas Kains |

Hey conscious guys! Falzeal and Iralynash, it's up to you to save us!

Iralynash |

The elf jumps awake, his heart pounding like he just runned for the whole day. Looking around Iralynash uses both hands to grab Lukas and Celes by the colar of their armor and drag them out to the passage room.
Grab Jebidiah and lets run for it!

Lukas Kains |

"Well, we need to go back in and finish the job," Lukas replies, glad to be alive after another harrowing visit to the collapsed tower. "I say we go back through the place and look for this crest that thing wanted us to show it. Of course, with our luck so far, we'll use the password, and show the crest, and we'll come upon some other even more dangerous guardian that asks us to sing the song and dance the dance and we'll get clobbered again. But I think we have to try."
Are we fully healed? Could we have rested, then had Jeb heal us all, then rested again to go back in?

GM Bold Strider |

The group of explorers spends a day in the inn, resting after being nearly killed by the clockwork sentry. Jebidiah uses his potent healing magic to ensure everyone's quick return to health.
The governess tracks down the group during their rest day and tuts. I had assumed that I was recruiting and paying top dollar for good adventurers. Do I need to outsource this to Oppara and get real adventurers? She seems a bit peeved that it is taking this long, but also seems willing to give you another chance.

Lukas Kains |

Lukas looks at the baroness as if she might be slightly mad as he considers what she's said. Recruited us? We were the first pack of fools she spotted on the street and offered us some coin to go inside!
Keeping his thoughts to himself, he says, "No, Lady Origena, there's no need for that. The tower has just turned out to be far more dangerous inside than anyone could have expected - talking ravens and pools of acid and mechanical guardians and magical passwords and all manner of things. But we're making progress. We're heading back in this morning, and will have the place sorted out soon."
I'd like to do a little shopping before we go back in, but I don't recall what we've found as far as treasure. Anyone been taking notes on that? Sadly, a quick search for "gp" suggests we've not found anything...

Iralynash |

Yea, thats what I remember too. No loot :/
B#%$@&! Iralynash thinks looking at the baroness.
Before leaving the inn he buys a bottle of the strongest liquor he can find and after a some consideration a second one too.
It pains me to even suggest it but we can ask the raven "oracle" about the construct's crest.

Lukas Kains |

"It'll pain us to ask him too," comments Lukas. "I don't recall if there were any crests anywhere in the rest of the place, but I'm sure going to keep my eye out for them when we go back."
Even with no loot, I've got 40 gp, will do a bit of shopping and have a list of purchases up soon.

GM Bold Strider |

She hears Lukas' explanation and seems satisfied for now. You get the sense that there are other people wanted that place explored and she is merely the mouthpiece to show their exasperation at the lack of progress. You may continue your search under our auspices, but more failure will cause problems.
Purchasing is fine.
What do you want to do when you get inside? Do you want to do anything else in the town?
