He turns and heads back through the secret door, taking a quick look over his shoulder to see if the others are coming. When he reaches the pool of toxic goo, he holds on to the rope they've left in place and moves carefully along the ledge.

Celes will suggest one at a time, so that way if the password is wrong then we all don't suffer any ill effects if they do happen. If something wants a password, Celes will assume that bad things happen...Besides, this whole damn place feels like a trap to her lol

Lukas turns to Celes and says, "Well, you offered to go first. If you're still up for it, we'll wait here and cross our fingers."


Celes steps in the room and hears a voice echo across the chamber. "Please close the door before proceeding with the pass phrase." Celes closes the door and utters the phrase "Good Baron Sarvo Wills It". The door in front of her opens and, as soon as she steps through it, it shuts once more behind her.

Celes:
A single iron lever protrudes from the wall next to the door in this otherwise empty chamber's west wall. To the east, a ten-foot-wide hallway curves to the north. In the center of the room at the far end, stands a four-armed metal construct that blocks access to this corridor. A large metallic key floats in the air next to the construct.

The construct moves forward ten feet and speaks to you. Please present the crest for passage.

You see Celes through the bars of the door utter the password and be allowed into the next room. You think you might see something metallic in the room she just entered on the far wall.

Iralynash quickly enters the room, shuts the door and recites the password. The door opens and he sees Celes with her weapon drawn. He steps into the room and the door shuts behind him. The door to the chamber unlocks audibly.

Celes/Iralynash:
Bzzt... Crest not presented... Initiating Defensive Protocols... Bzzt... A gun raises up out of the back of the robot and it skitters forward 10'.

Celes' readied action fails to go off.

"Come on, quick! Something's going on in there!" cries Lukas. He darts through the first door, holding it open for his companions to follow. Once it closes behind them, he calls out, "Good Baron Sarvo wills it!" and opens the second door, skipping nimbly into the room beyond.

Seeing the brutal blow the metallic creature delivers to Celes, Lukas hurries in to help. He'll probably not his so hard if he's flat on his back!

He maneuvers to the thing's other side and takes a couple of swipes at its metal legs, aiming to bring it down.

Move into flanking with Iral, avoiding AoO as I go, then Flurry of Trips!

The flames wash over the machine but it doesn't seem to affect it very much. Need a save from Celes as she is in the same square as the machine.

The beast follows Iralynash, the biggest threat, until his back is against the wall. The blow hits Iralynash so hard that he becomes staggered and is on the verge of passing out.
