That is a good one. It wouldn't be too hard to convert that one to Pathfinder.
I'm pretty sure I downloaded a PF conversion of it from the Conversions board two years ago. :D

Still packing for our move here. I packed the D&D Basic pink box today along with Boot Hill, Star Frontiers, Gang Busters and Gamma World. Always wanted to play Gamma World but never got a chance. I also pack some newer stuff - AD&D and my 2nd Edition books.

Just as a note, next Wednesday I will be driving to the east coast and will have limited internet on Wed-Thursday. My family is moving to the east coast and I may or may not have reliable internet access (or I may have tons if it gets set up). I am the advance party with the rest of the family following in a few weeks.
If I am slow on posting, this is likely why. I shall attempt to post at least once per day, but I really do not know how reliable my posting will be for anywhere from a day or two to two weeks. We are going to get internet from Comcast, and that is always a crap shoot at best.

Just to give fair warning, I'm going on vacation August 8-18 and will probably not have internet access. Even after I get back, it may take a few days to get caught up with everything again.

1d3 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
He's increasing his saves, adding skill points to his usual knowledge and magic skills (as well as picking up some ranks in alchemy), and adding acid splash, identify, detect secret doors, and silent image to his spells known.

Yep - froggy tank just got dodgier.
Feats: Dodge, Crane Wing(monk bonus)
House Rule: Saves

That makes sense. It probably got sealed inside when the divine health wall went up.
Jonas just picked up Bodyguard. People next to him are going to be more difficult to hit, so stay close.

New proposed party formation to take advantage of our new awesomeness.
.. Q
H.Jo.A

This puts our froggy pointman out in front where Crane Wing will do the most good. Jonas is in the middle where he can Bodyguard everyone and use Reach to the best advantage. Hermann is in front of Jokbur to protect him while he's arching. Everyone is in range of Channeling and Aura of Courage.
If we stick to this general formation it should give us a significant advantage.
Thoughts?

            Like the Jonas formation!
Realized I get a zen archer bonus feat too so I add deadly aim as level 3 feat and point blank shot as bonus feat plus the complementary weapon focus longbow
+1 to all saves and +10hp
Rounded out my skills (started acrobatics) and advanced my core skills to max -- perception, sense motive, disable device, survival
Let us go back to town and hit the baths and inn.
It would be nice to get masterwork transformation cast on my bow. I have the 150gp, maybe Ariella can start boosting our primary weapons.

GM, what do you think of allowing the Antipaladin version of Divine Bond as an option? This game isn't very conducive to having a mount, and the Weapon Bond ability is pretty much terrible. I was trying to figure out an Archetype that would swap Divine Bond for something more appropriate, but none of them really work.
The Antipaladin option is basically the same as the Mount option, but allows for Non-mount companions. (I was thinking a fire elemental or a lanern archon or something)
Thoughts?

I just like that you all are using an unarmored 1' 10" frog as the defensive front line. Admittedly with Mage Armor cast on me, I will usually have a 29AC with the ability to deflect 1 attack each round. But, I am still a 22 inch tall 27 pound frog.
Perhaps I should look into getting a permanent Reduce Person cast on me. Of course, I would then draw AoO when attacking, but I would be the smallest PC in history.

Jokbur, masterwork transformation is indeed possible, but it would have to be cast by someone in the party as no one in Zelkor's Ferry will have it. Also remember the "to hit" bonus does not stack with your Ranged Attack bonus that you took at first (only makes it have more hps) although magic weapon spell cast on it would.

The brilliance of your system finally sinks in.
These bonuses are intended to compensate for the lots of small magic items optimizers seek. The slot saturation effect.
Jokbur would like thistle and smoke arrows if available.

The man-frog stares at the disembodied red face looking down from the heavens:
I'M A MAN-FROG, NOT A FROGMAN!!!! A FROGMAN IS SOME NAVAL WARRIOR FROM A STRANGE WORLD WHERE MAGIC DOES NOT EXIST AND SOMETHING CALLED TEK-NOL-AGY RULES.
The man-frog then shakes his tiny green fist at the disembodied face before returning to his regularly scheduled campaign.

To have any chance of activating a scroll spell, the scroll user must meet the following requirements.
The spell must be of the correct type (arcane or divine). Ariella Meets this requirement
The user must have the spell on her class list. Ariella Meets this requirement
The user must have the requisite ability score. Ariella Meets this requirement
If the user meets all the requirements noted above, and her caster level is at least equal to the spell's caster level, she can automatically activate the spell without a check. Ariella does not meet this
If she meets all three requirements but her own caster level is lower than the scroll spell's caster level, then she has to make a caster level check (DC = scroll's caster level + 1) to cast the spell successfully.

Then the spell itself need to make a check versus the disease DC
I am glad we are diseased and in town rather than diseased exploring the dungeon.

Maybe we could start with a simple diagnosis. Knowing what kind of disease this is will help a lot.
The Heal skill allows checks to be made to give bonuses to saves against disease damage, as does Antiplague.
Those two things will help buy time for Ari to keep trying the scrolls over and over again until she gets it.

I do not know if it will help in this case though.

Cabinet contains six books:
(a) Amador’s Basic Anatomical Textbook(100 gp),
(b) Zovar’s Catalogue of Diseases and Pestilences(10 gp),
(c) Tharo’s Introduction to Purgatives and Herbal Remedies, second edition (250 gp),
(d) Polodor’s Collected Essays on Contagions and Cures(75 gp),
(e) Omens, Portents, and Prophesies of the Healing Gods(25 gp),
The sixth book has no title on the cover, and the thick leather binding is held closed with a massive lock. This book is the iniquitous Tome of Draav, which contains the names and descriptions of a large number of demons. Perusing the Tome for 30 minutes or more reveals that the entries for five of the demons have been carefully annotated with notes and diagrams. It is at these five pages where the book’s binding cracks open, and the parchment at the edges of these pages is worn thin.
