Tenibri has purchased a wand of mage armor with 2pp. I'll be adding it to his alias shortly. Any other purchases will be made in game.

Tenibri has Crafter's Fortune on his spell list; how do I use that for Day Job checks? Is just having it good enough, since the Day Job activity happens during downtime, or do I have to cast it at some point during the scenario?

![]() |

As far as I'm aware, you cannot add temporary modifiers to your day job check, so this would apply to spells.

Apparently I'm wrong on this, and you can use that spell for day job checks since it last for a day or something along that lines, I'll assume it's good enough as part of your spell list as the day job checks happen during the downtime.

Player: Miteke
Character: Guy du Loc

Day Job: Glass Crafter: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23
Will get purchases and starting gold when I get home.

Is this everyone? I think there was some minor confusion between the two low-tier tables (the Discussion threads for both of them started out labeled Table 2), and I don't know if that misled anyone. If this is it, our melee front line is going to be a rogue and an inquisitor--an unusual combination.

![]() |

Yea, everyone is at the right table. I actually didn't look at the character set up, however, I'm not that worried as this is a very roleplay heavy scenario, with only two combats. I will scale the scenario appropriately if not having a frontliner makes it difficult :)

I out all purchases on the previous scenario. Starting golds will be 671gp. Though at 1st leave it is all fungible anyway as you get a free rebuild.

Naxian, one thing that can help as you're learning the rules is to post both options if you're not sure of what you're allowed to do. You can spoiler them using [ spoiler=Spoiler Title][/spoiler].
For example:
Not sure if I can attack, does drawing my rapier count as my action?
Rapier: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 3
Naxian yells "Haha, I'm going to attack you next round, you evil bad guy!"
Doing it this way gives the GM enough information to keep the game moving no matter which action you were allowed to take. You still learn about the game, and the game keeps moving.
This actually applies to all players. It's a great way to post actions if they depend on an answer to a question that only the GM knows.
Tenibri listens at the door, does he ear anything?
Tenibri lifts his enormous heavy great axe and bashes the door in.
Tenibri curls into a ball on the floor and cries.
This is a great trick to keep the pace up.

Excellent suggestion, Tenibri.

![]() |

Ah, that's a shame Jivan :(. I would run another scenario but right now I'm keeping to one scenario at a time till I build up enough familiarity with the rules. Still forgotting some rules time to time!
I was just about to advertise it too, am planning to go for a run of overflow archive right after I round up all the Merchant's wake, so it'll allow you guys to bring your current characters if you want to. Link right here for your conveniences.

I probably won't remember everything, so go ahead and post in the recruitment thread everyone!

This specific scenario she goes kamikaze mode to avoid being captured. It's written in the scenario. lol.

I have an in-person PFS game this weekend, and I need to find a character I can bring. All of my PFS characters are currently in games on these boards. Is there any chance that this game will finish before the 19th? (No problem if not, just exploring my options; I can create a new character too.)

Another good idea is to play an iconic and apply the credit towards one of your characters. I don't believe you need the character to be free in that case, particularly if the credit is for a future level. Please correct me if I'm wrong on this or there is some detail I should be aware of.

![]() |

Guy is right, but good news is that this game should wrap up in a day. We're at the conclusion. :)

![]() |

I'll pass everyone chronicles tomorrow :) go ahead and post your best theories!

Assuming it was on of the five most obvious suspects, Doritannia. That's based on the supposition that the assassins were supposed to kill Metella but leave evidence that Temel was responsible; she is in considerable debt to Temel, and if he were discredited she could refuse to repay on the grounds that he had had a rival killed. Metella represents interests from Five Kings Mountain, and one would suspect that a seller of alcoholic beverages would be in a good position to sell such things to dwarves. Pellius, by contrast, has no particular points of intersection with Temel or Metella that might lead to rivalry. Jakti is a wild card, though.

As promised, Monday it is! I've uploaded everyone's chronicles into the link above! Let me know if you guys have any problems. :)

Yea! Thanks for the game.
